The Bistro keeps to the good standard of most of the restaurants in the Hermanus CBD area. Its not one of the flashiest places and it doesnt have the best view of the ocean, but the food was good and the beers were cold so we enjoyed it. We visited for lunch and as we missed the morning rush we could get a nice table outside. Our waitress was very friendly and as we were visiting with our baby we were glad that there was enough space for the pram as well. Overall good experience.

Really great addition to dining in Hermanus. The interior of the place has been sympathetically upgraded by the new owners (since April 2019). The food is a mixture of tapas style (we had superb springbok carpaccio and an excellent plate of marinated artichoke hearts) and more traditional dishes. In fact there is something for everyone on their menu.Excellent wine list with a comprehensive choice of wines from local producers. Staff are also excellent. Attentive and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend
