Absolutely useless staff and manager, system for trade in was down, had to return on 3 occasions to be assisted. The price offered was less than what was indicated on the website and this was blamed on the website not being updated. Apple South Africa, what a joke, you will not be seeing me again.

The staff is judging went to the store wanting to buy an apple watch but the guy assisting me did not show interest I felt like he judged me na d thought i will not buy. I had to leave the store as there was no interest. it is sad that the is no competition in PE their the only store so i had to go place an order online.

Unfortunately this is South Africa; so things are a little slow here. Stock and hands-on knowledge is a problem. I generally know more about a product I’m intending to but than everyone there. It’s a problem.But, other than online, it’s the only place in PE, and it’s not all bad.

Well laid out with adequate social distancing norms.Products are as with any other istore.The repair times are rather extended with work being sent to Johannesburg. Laptop out of ones usage for 7 to 14 days is definitely a NO.Good staff

Hi, we bought an I phone charger at I Store in Walmer for R500 just the cable. 7 days later the charger stopped working the piece that goes inside the phone when you charge it remained inside the phone. When we went back to the shop we were told it is physical damage and they will not replace the charger. This charger was 7 days old, it has no signs of physical damage on the outside to show abuse or anything. It is possible that the charger was broken or cracked inside when we got it. It worked because it was tested and put in the box to be sold. When we started using it the crack got worse and it broke off.

Staff is exceptional and quite knowledgable about their gadgets/products. And the technicians are really efficient. Went in for MacOS Big Sur upgrade on my MacBook as it was giving me hassles at home. Took them overnight to fix the issue when booked. And it was as great as before! Definitely recommend them for anyone with problems or requires assistance for Apple products.

Tech service at iStore Walmer Park is an absolute joke. Please save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Basically go anywhere but iStore Walmer Park.Took my phone in for a battery replacement, ended up with my front camera being broken and my screen having a black shadow.Dont even bother talking to the Manager, absolute waste of time, he then subtly accused me of bringing in a faulty device, even though the head technician (6 months of online training during lockdown makes her apparently highly qualified) herself called me to say that their was no issues with the device after running diagnostics and if she may go ahead with the battery replacement and that my info would get wiped, thats when I gave her the go ahead, biggest regret ever!Please stay far far away, in fact RUN as fast as you can.

Ive been here a hand full of times and its usually to speak to the genius when I need help with a troubled iPhone/iPad. If Im being completely honest, it was a waste of time seeing as they mainly know the basics and told me to do everything Ive already done to try fix my phone issues.Nevertheless, the store is always clean, staff is friendly and they have anything you need when it comes to iphones to any other iproducts.

My macbook didnt want to allow me to log in using my password. I took it to the iStore, Walmer Park, PE. The tech support there tried everything to fix it and even escalated the problem to senior tech who informed me that the problem cannot be fixed, that I had to reset everything and start from scratch on my macbook - something that no one wants to do after 5 years without any backup (lesson learnt). After spending a whole day at the store and not getting anywhere, I left the macbook with them overnight. Having been informed of how much I need to work on it again and get the information on my macbook, one person didnt want to give up on the problem and even researched it after hours in his own time till 2h00. This morning Abongile informed me that he managed to fix the issue and I can continue working on my macbook. Excellent service Abongile! The world needs more people like you. Thank you very much.

Bought a new Apple iPhone yesterday and while the sales part of it was good (probably just to get the sale) the help offered on trying to connect etc etc, is non existent!!! Was a Samsung user before so know nothing about the Apple and although the salesperson knew this, he offered no help - so a day later, I amstill not connected and trying to get help from friends!!!! Not the service I got from my previous purchase of a Samsung at Cell C!!!

I have been buying devices and having them repaired here for years. Although some of the staff have been friendly and helpful, I have never had a good overall experience, either with sales or service. I am usually left wondering are these people incompetent, or dishonest, or both? Run from this store.

Absolutely horrible customer service and tech support. An utter waste of my time, and still no better than when I first asked for help - this after waiting more than 5 hours collectively (not counting overnight stay of laptop). Went to another computer shop afterward and they told me whats wrong within half an hour. Also not a great meet-and-greet system in place, management definitely has to step in. I feel like the only reason this branch is still in business is because istores are scarce in the Eastern Cape - would have never had this experience in a Gauteng store (that i have visited repeatedly over the years). Extremely disappointing experience.

The Lady at the front desk is lovely and efficient. The store is lovely. The Tech support- not great.Its just disappointing when you need help with the Apple ID ETC set up & the technical support can only help you in 3 days time!when you phone to chat to the Walmer Park i-store - your calls go directly to Joburg who represents all the I stores....you are first greeted by a robotic voice - who cant help....It takes quite a few tries to eventually get through to a human being...#incrediblyfrustratingIv always had iphone...& Im the first to say im not completely Tech savvy.Needless to say- I want my phone to work asap.Theres SUCH a lag on apples side.Seriously considering Android- as my loan phone is android and its pleasantly, surprisingly, easy to work.Its taken so long (even 1day is long without your Lifeline to the world) for my iphone to get sorted out....which is sad &Disappointing!

My issue with Walmer apple istore are there assitants knowledge about their own product. I have been there twice, and there workers are unable to help me and tells me to pay R200 for the tech team, luckily i had a friend who helped me out and it took her 2 min to solve a comman problem with iphones. I can understand there workers wont always have a solution for everything, but surely when a non-tech customer like me comes with a small issue, surely just try and help out, why charge me R200 and wait forever in the line ??IF YOUR WORKERS CANT EVEN SOLVE A COMMAN ISSUE ABOUT THEIR OWN PRODUCT, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING THERE?my problems: my notifications wasnt showing and when should I change my battery (the assitants couldnt even anwser that.)

Absolutely terrible service. No follow up after I took my laptop in for repairs. Sold me a faulty unity and now they want me to pay R6000 to get it fixed. DO NOT BUY THE ICARE WARRANTY. It is an absolute scam. It only covers the screen and they only inform you of this after you have bought it. DISHONEST AND UNETHICAL!!!!!!

Made a booking a week ago to come in for some software advice (which apps to get to get full functionality for my assignments) for my MacBook. The technician instead decided she needed to upgrade my software first,I told her I can do this at home overnight for free, but she said not with this update, only they can do it.. Anyway I let her do it, she told be to leave my login password and come back after an hour. I came back 90mins later, the laptop was closed and installation not done. The technician nowhere to be found even though I told her when I left that I didnt come for a software update so I still need to be helped with the apps. Now having to wait another 90mins while the update is installing. R450 and over 3 hours later, Im leaving without my laptop nor what I came here for. This is my first time dealing with this store, I usually go to Eastgate and will certainly be my last.

Poor because at first they told me that my phone was going to be back in 8 days from the service center and they took 2 weeks. Secondly they they took of my screen protector and when I collected my phone I was told they did not have them in stock and told me to come back again to check if they have or not... I mean come on why cant they call me when they have them on stock I dont feel like a customer at all. To top it all off they wiped my phone without letting me know about it first. Now I am trying to access my iTunes and its not working. So I would not recommend anyone to go and buy or service a phone from them again
