Best ribs in town! Reasonable pricing and good value for money. Staff could be a bit friendlier but the good food makes up for this. Their pregos are also very good. Plenty parking and access for both able and disabled customers.

Still the best ribs around. Their original basting sauce is amazing. Definitely worth it. Excellent sized portions to fill the gap nicely. Serviced by all the usual delivery guys so you stay safe.

I was horrified when I saw the kitchen staff dish up their chips with his bare hands. He also used his bare hands to separate onion rings onto the plates as though he was separating hair. I then asked the lady behind the counter why is your staff member dishing out food using his bare hands? She told the staff member not to do that. I told her that what they are doing there is not very hygienic and can make people sick and then left - I had half a mind to ask for a refund for my food.Later on when I arrived home, I microwaved my food to make sure it was fine. I took a bite out of the 1/4 chicken and it was tough. Then I looked at the chicken and the inside of it was still pinkish. I could not eat it and threw it away in disgust.I take no pleasure from leaving negative reviews but this was just an unacceptable experience. Black Steers have always been one of my favourite restaurants from back in the day and I hope this restaurant improves their service.

Pricey, but great food.

Its not that difficult to mess up a burger and chips but these guys have. Refried chips that are as hard as rocks, and a burger thats so chewy its almost inedible. A mockery of the great brand that is used to be. Never again.

Im appalled with this i do understand the high volumes of orders but when you are told by staff food will be delivered in 20 min, hoping that this will be carried out and then 1 hour and 20 min late , this is not on furthermore they dont answer your call.We dont have an obligation to buy from here but we do anyway ..im totally disappointed with the staff and ethos of this branch.

This gem serves as a reminder of what a Lil empire black steer once was in the early 1990s. They dont rely on just the best ribs available to mankind now. They also serve huge ice cream cups etc. Pretty commercialised now. Not very much of a dining experience anymore but the food is still pretty good. I recommend the burgers and of course the ribs with original basting

Week day service not too great... average. Perhaps it gets better on peak days

I ordered wings from them and it was terrible. The taste was below average (honestly, Ive made better wings at home) but what concerned me more is that the chicken was under cooked! Seriously?? That is a serious health hazard that could end up giving someone food poisoning. Will never eat there again.

Decent meat patties just a little overdone

Staff absolutely pathetic. Cashier looks like shes doing you a favour. Kitchen staff dont wear gloves while preparing the food and when confronted about why the staff dont wear gloves the cashier (Nompi) just shrugs her shoulders. Will definitely not be supporting this particular branch again.

Poor service. Rude staff. Old take-out menus. Not worth the overpriced food when it’s really average in reality.

First time visit but wasnt too impressed.. Staff unfriendly and seems like a huge effort to serve us. Food was average but not on the level I had on other occasions from this franchise in the past.

Black Steers Meadowdale Mall. Thursday 28 March 2019. Waited the whole week to get the rib spacial. 16h30 hubby stops there just to be told sorry no ribs. REALLY!!!!! How pathetic !!!!!!

The service is not great. How can you put milk in coffee when you serve.

Arrived 2 weeks ago at 19:50 they could not serve me because they close at 20:00 and not 20:30 as per Google. Got there at 19:15 this weekend, they were out of Ribs. Ordered a blue cheese and feta gourmet burger exactly a month ago, they did not have feta ☹️. What a disappointment!
