The facilities were quite pleasant. But the experience was terrible. The hosts were overbearing and invasive. Definitely not a friendly space to people of colour. Hosts were openly racist and frequently intruded on privacy frequently, even entering the premises at night, compromising on safety. Definitely worth rethinking your stay here, especially if you are a non-white person.

Extremely lovely owners of a lovely holiday place! Self catering accommodation with lovely bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen/lounge. A stunning view of the mountains and neighbouring farms. Pet friendly which is a must if you have a four legged child in the family.A lovely place to get away

Owners are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay, our bed was HUGE and very comfortable. Seen the smallest piglet ever. Cutest donkey and tranquil place with plenty peace and quietness. Will be back.

Ibis Place is a wonderful place to stay whether for a business or personal trip. The guesthouse is located on a small-holding close to George airport and the views over the farmlands and mountains are spectacular.The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There is a bar fridge, kettle, ceiling fan, flat screen TV with satellite TV in the room and fast WiFi throughout the guesthouse.The breakfast is delicious and an excellent way to start your day.I will definitely be back again!

A good get away location. And perfect for a stay over place if you are on a work trip.They guest house is located about 15min out side George on a big open piece of land.

Really lovely place. Clean, with friendly owners always ready to chat. Situated on a farm, it has its uniquely lovely aura and feel to it. Great pool, rowing in the lake, lovely grounds, more than enough braai facilities and seating. Communal kitchen with ample seating lends itself to community, yet privacy as well. Lovely breakfast served. Ample shade areas, and great to wander around the property. Rooms are spacious, with medium fridge, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, Dstv, wifi. Great place to be. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful place, peaceful. Really enjoyed it. The only thing I would say is that the cellphone reception was not so strong, so if you need to shut-down from the rest of the world, this is the place to be.

Very nice place just the greedenes of Roney did put a damper on everything. We booked till the 30th but decided to leave late on the 29th the morning of the 29th Roney demand that we leave or give him a payment for a day that we already paid for.

My home always when in George. Love the tranquil space and the hosts Fara and Ronny are so friendly. The breakfast is amazing and I will continue to return to this place.

You have to visit the place, the host Ronny and Fara are amazing, welcoming and always makes everyone feels like they are at home. It is a real home from home experience.

Accommodation was neat and the area quiet. However, kitchen utensils were not sufficient for a self catering unit.No bowls for salad or meat, not enough cutlery - there was only 1 sharp knife - no serving spoons. Cutlery was also not washed clean and had to be washed before use.Owner insisted on an additional day visitor rate for family who spent half days. Nowhere is there any mention of a day visitor rate and telephone inquiries (after being paid) have turned into an extremely unprofessional conduct where the owner offensively in an elevated tone of voice did not allow you to get a word in.I would definitely NOT recommend them. The accommodation was not too bad for the price - just be prepared - what you paid for was what you get. However, the owners actions were totally unacceptable.

Its a wow. Very quiet with big spacious clean rooms. Prague bedding and a delight to stay. I think Ive never met such hospitable down to earth owners like Ibis Place Sense. Thank you so much for everything.
