Great location, quiet and a beautiful view of the mountain (that was covered in snow when I was there) The hosts were fantastic, they made me feel right at home. The breakfast was really good. The room was beautiful, neat and tidy. Wifi was super fast. There is a TV in the room, but I don’t watch TV. Bathroom had a shower and a bath and the water pressure was great. Great guesthouse. Will stay over again.

We got married in George and this was our 2 night stay and the hosts made it so special from the beautiful setting to the beautiful room! Breakfast was also done very nice. They have such a beautiful garden and is so peaceful there. We had a wonderful stay at Amour guest house with our two little girls. The room was very comfortable and specious. The breakfast was always delicious and the presentation was like in the best restaurant. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful with any requests from our side. The view is absolutely stunning! We enjoyed everyday of our 10 day stay there!

Stunning accommodation and out hosts went out of their way to make our stay lovely. The bed is super comfortable and the location of the guesthouse is superb! It might be a good idea for the hosts to consider putting a fan or fitting a fan in the room for summer- the room can be quite hot in summer.The breakfast was a feast- both visually and in taste. We highly recommend this guesthouse for your stay in George.

A beautiful guesthouse with stunning mountain views, well designed rooms (each with outdoor seating area) and super hosts.The property is secure, has a lovely swimming pool and is a short drive to all the amenities.Breakfast was a real treat!! The biltong shavings on the eggs is inspired - everything tasted great.It was a real joy to stop here.

I enjoyed a magnificent three nights stay at this newly renovated Guest House. Situated in a secure and tranquil setting overlooking the Outeniqua mountains, within easy driving distance to top restaurants in George.I had a charming room with a fully equipped kitchenette and private patio including a comfortable outside seating area, which was a bonus, much better than having to sit on a bed after a busy day! The bed was huge and probably the most comfortable bed I ever slept in!I would recommend Amour Guest House to any traveller visiting George as well as the surrounding areas. Ideal for the business traveller that wants his/her own space and privacy. The breakfast is great all sorts of mini delights, berries, yoghurt, assorted nuts and cheeses, however, the real treat and highlight was the delicious cooked breakfast. The rooms include desks to do some work on, block out curtains that keet the early morning light out, leisure amenities, bamboo flooring, electric blanket at affordable rates. THANKS to Margarita and Precious for making my stay here a memorable experience.

During my travel in South Africa, I have had the fortune to stay in this wonderful place. The view is fantatic and amazing. it is near all the most important and interesting places and services strucures. Margarita and her dougther are very kind and gentle, always available, and ready, to answer each question and request. Very very suggested. Maybe the best place, where you can find also an family warm atmosfere. Thanks a lot for everything!
