Seems answering the fone still do t happen after months of reviews here. I need to cancel an application they have open so I can do it elcewhere... Must I drive110km round trip to tell them to answer the fone ?

My band new phone stopped working due to touch screen problems. The phone was still in mint condition. It was so clearly a factory fault. It is now 7weeks later. I am yet to receive a replacement phone or new phone. ., It should take maximum 3 weeks. Somehow, they are unable to pick up the office phone. Service really sucked. Just as bad as telkom I would think. Very displeased!

I have been a loyal MTN customer for many years. I visited garden route mall store today to upgrade my contract. I have never been so rudely treated as Lukhanyo treated me today. So sorry MTN times are hard & you can say goodbye to my R1500 a mont contract. I will go to another service provider

My son was not allowed in the shop with me for his phone upgrade. Outside with him, he wanted to see the phone and turn it on, but it was risky. So I told him to go into the shop and put his sim in where it is safe. He was chased out! How terrible!

Friendly and helpful staff. Just a pity for the long waiting times.Also frustrating to have an listed contact nr that only goes to voicemail. Can you Please provide a direct store contact nr when we need to speak to someone.

Very bad service, I applied for two IP11s on the 26/02/2020, I sent all the required documents by e-mail to Angelo Erasmus who attended to me. I spent more than an hour doing the application and was constantly told by Angelo that the software is new and they are not use to it. After spending more than an hour, I signed some application documents and I then left. On Friday, 28/02/2020 I returned to the store to find out if my application has been handled at all. I then had to do the whole application again, with a lady called Retecia, taking more than an hour again. I was told that my application was pre-approved and was awaiting final approval. Retecia then phone her supervisor Ashraf to get permission to hand me the phone as the system was not responding. Ashraf agreed and I left with two brand new IP11s. On Saturday morning, 29/02/2020 I got a call from Retecia telling me that the system now declined my application and they need the phones back. I have already spent money on covers and screen protectors and am now demanding that I be reimbursed for the screen protectors and covers. I cant understand why and nor can MTN tell me why my application was declined. I earn quite a bit more than the average South African, I have no debt only a farm and two vehicles that I owe money on. This is very odd and the service very, very bad. Surely you dont give a person two phones to the value of R40000-00 if you are not sure...........

Wating days on approval for contract, if its a no, thats a waste of my time, cuz im sure vodocom would like a new client and they wouldnt make me wait days, if its a no go straight ahead and say its declined dont make a person wait around days, that and i have to phone 6 times before yall answer your phones

Went to pay my elderly mothers account as her service had been suspended. They assured me that it had been reconnected on the spot. 6 hours later it is still disconnected. I have tried to call the Garden Route Mall store where I paid the account and the number does not exist. What kind of shocking service are we paying for??

Terrible service,Went in to find out what to do with my wifes samsung (i knew its the battery swelling and cracking the phone) to know what steps to take further.She told me that they can only cover softwaredamage,after i was told when i took out this contract for my wife that hardware is covered if its not user fault .She asked me to go to WeFix and ask them what could be the cause.So i went and found out what i knew what was wrong.The battery ...i Go back to MTN and stand in a queue,after 10mins i notice they see me,people behind me start queuing..She walks past twice and helps the others and ignores me flat.The samsung girl as well,walks right past me not even making eye contact to assist further.Will be scraping MTN off my service provider list..Ive added a photo of the women at MTN that ignored to help any further.

Hi there I was there last week Thursday to make a sim swapI was assisted very well and the staff was very friendly n helpfullybut it happens that the simswap that I did was not completed or it was done in other number I still cnt access my old number and I am not even close to a mtn store:-(

The most useless service from a South African company I have had in 5 years. I have not had a working phone since Jan 2015, and a new simcard has not worked since Saturday 4th April, lunchtime when they promised 2-3 hours.

They are only helpful until you have already signed your contract.There is no customer service.Their phone just rings or stays occupied.The manager never comes out to help solve a problem himself, the other staff have to see and get ready.Just shrug and then some staff are snotty too. And dont listen to what you say or dont like, you just attack.
