Great restaurant. Very neat and clean with an amazing view. The food was excellent and our waitress Rosy provided excellent service. Great cocktails too. Definitely will be visiting more often. The complimentary Del Forno kisses shots were a nice gesture by management - thank you.

No hope for Del FornoIf the was an option to give a negative star I would do so. After months of not going to Del Forno due to hygiene issues, things have gone worse.I went on Sunday for breakfast. We ordered food, drinks and tea. My glass was dirty and had lipstick 💄. I was appalled,that during Covid times they failing to clean glasses, I called the waiter and he changed my glass. I than noticed that the tea pot was dirty, this devastated me and I asked for the Manager. I told her how disappointing it is considering they only had 2 tables with customers at that point. I told her I was worried that if they failing to clean glasses how are they capable of doing doing the right thing in the kitchen. It was clear that hygiene was at the bottom of their list.It gets worse.The waiter that was assisting was standing at the door giving me an intimidating 😳 look. He starred at me with a frown, I assumed its because I spoke to the manager. I called out and asked if the is a problem seeing that he is staring and making me uncomfortable. He answered in his mother tongue and gave me attitude. I felt so uncomfortable I had to get up and go without touching their food .The worst experience ever. Its a pity because the restaurant has a good view but bad hygiene practices and a waiter who intimidates customers for voicing out concerns.

My parents and I visited Del Forno on Saturday evening. What an incredible experience. The food was phenomenal - we ordered 3 medium pizzas to share amongst the 3 of us - great idea as you get a taste of each then. The waiter made our experience even more phenomenal - Ask for Evans if you ever decide to go.

My wife and I came here on our first time and we enjoyed the food very much. We sat outside and it has a nice relaxing view. Very tasty Italian cuisine and made very well.

We chose this place for luncheon for a party of four. We arrived at about 12h30 and the place was not busy. We initially asked for a table outside (there is a lovely balcony seating area) but there wasnt a table with adequate shade and neither did our waiter offer to move any of the umbrellas that were there for the purpose of creating shade although we observed this happening for other diners who arrived after us. The ambience is casual with aspirations towards more, with daily offers on Tuesday and Thursdays and date night offers on Wednesdays. We started with the garlic focaccia which was served with butter, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. This was a tasty start. For drinks, the milky bar freezo and a lime milkshake went down a treat! For mains, we ordered the butter chicken pasta, the creamy chicken with pesto pasta with gnocchi as well the large maserati pizza (which is a meat lovers delight), to share. The pizza was throughly appreciated. The pizza dough is thin based and the toppings, plentiful. The pasta dishes were very over salted which spoilt the taste. One of the diners asked for extra feta in the pasta which was used as the excuse for the extra salty taste when this was pointed out but this does not account for the other gnocchi dish also suffering from over salting. We did not opt for desert.The restaurant is one of a few good choices in the immediate vicinity with a Greekish restaurant, a Rocco Mamas and a Simply Asia right next door, so a diner is potentially spoilt for choice.

I read all the great reviews prior to going there and it was so busy/full (Mother’s Day) so I think it’ll be best to come during the week. We were not attended to upon entrance, even though the lady working there saw us, waiters were busy attending to the other customers but the manager made the efforts to really accommodate us so they made up for that. Food was okay - will give them a second chance again.

A very nice place to chill, eat and have a few drinks. The cocktails are absolutely perfect. We actually sat here for a full 5 hours. The outside area is perfect for a day with good weather and there is an inside section for the bad days. The food was good. The only small hiccup is the arrival time for things to come after u place an order but it is worth the wait because of how good the drinks are actually prepared. I would recommend this place as a bar alone and is definitely worth the visit.

On the evening of September 3rd my daughter ordered an Alfredo pasta dish from Delforno Greenstone through Mr Delivery. Food arrived promptly but was gone off...it was really disgusting. I called immediately and the Manager (Nicole I think) at the time apologised and said she will gladly replace the dish, must just visit the next day. My daughter went back on Saturday with the SPOILED FOOD at midday and the Manager Nicolas said he cannot do anything, we must log a complaint with Mr Delivery. Delforno Greenstone, HOW CAN YOU SUPPLY SPOILED FOOD and dont take responsibility. Is this how you treat your customers. Mr Manager you need some training on customer service and business retention...because you have just lost a customer. How many other customers have you cheated....disgusting.

If you want to get a taste of what real pizza tastes like then Del Forno is the place. I chose a Mediterranean pizza and the seafood was clean, so tender and delicious how I wish I could have taken a photo 🤦🏾‍♀️

Very very disappointed... Used the app for convenience, an hour and 30 minutes later my food arrives... Ice Cold... All it took was three phones calls for me to eventually receive my food...At this rate I would not recommend... Really need to work on customer service and delivery times...I suppose nothing better than microwaving wood oven pizza...

Had the breakfast, it was suprisingly pretty delicious given the other horrible options of restaurants around that serve breakfast. Service was decent, waiter was competent enough to give me exactly what I wanted, and to top it off, all items were reasonably priced. Keep it up guys!

The staff is friendly enough however there was a mix up with our food, and we ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes for one dish to be made and when it came it was severely underwhelming. None of the managers checked up on us regarding the mix up or our time there.

Always enjoy coming here. Have been for quite a while. Come on dates, come with friends and I cant say I remember having a bad meal at any time. Love all the food and its always so hard to pick what to eat because I want everything. Always coming back.

A really fantastic restaurant with a great view. We went as a big group and everyone was very happy with their food. It is well priced and the service was good. The steaks (rump and fillet) were perfectly cooked and I highly recommend the chicken schnitzel prima vera.

Lovely Food its one of our favorite chill sports with my husband.But today got terrible Service from a waiter called Vincent, it took over 45 minutes for our food to come out and the other people that arrived after us even starred eating before we even got served..and to top it off one of us was having a dessert with the meal and the dessert only came out after an hour and he didnt even apologize or sympathize he blamed the bar man for the delay...it was a disappointing lunch experience. HOPE we get better service next time.

Really great! Excellent food and service. After we complained that we were told telephonically and on the website that the restaurant opens at 9.00, when we arrived they said 9.30. They apologised profusely and offered us free cakes and dessert. Well done Del Forno. We will be back!

Had a nice Valentines lunch there, I was impressed with the level of service.

A HUGE THUMBS DOWN!! We ordered via MrD app and live across the street - our pizza arrived ice cold. It was expensive, nearly twice the price of Romans and the worst pizza we ever tasted - the crust was soggy, near flaky and tasteless. It was totally sad looking, like a 5 day old wilted flower (base had become soggy). In addition, I had ordered the brie pizza...it was meant to come with bacon, brie, walnuts and cranberry sauce. Bacon was barely there, the cranberry sauce was missing. In addition they sprinkled 20 raw, ice cold and very UNWANTED cherry tomatoes on top, messing tomato slime all over my pizza. Tomato was NOT specified on the menu as an ingredient. I HATE tomato. Brie tasted off. Overpriced for such a mundane pizza. Ordered bacon and brie and got tomato and walnut. Never again. I strongly advise not to waste your money on this one, you will be very disappointed.

Weve visited Del Forno Stoneridge a few times now and I can honestly say that weve never been disappointed.The service is always great, the food absolutelt delicious, cocktails/drinks amazing and I love the cozy vibe inside.Definitely the go-to place if you feel like having a romantic, warming dinner!!

My other favourite place ☺️. The staff is attentive and forth coming about any specials they have running. When you arrive they give a delicious creamy strawberry shot 🎉. The food is freshly prepared and simply delicious. Placed an order with Mr D Food. Ham instead of bacon on one pizza, and the Mediterranean pizza didnt have half the fish the menu said it would have. Did you guys literally just buy the seafood mix from Pick n Pay and call it a day? Seriously.
