It got off to a rough start where we sat in a corner table inside for about 5 minutes with no service and staff walking by and not stopping... Then a waiter stopped, Nimrod, and helped us, even for a table outside he made a plan as it was such a beautiful day outside!The food then was so delicious even ordered pizza for supper tonight and drinks were great! Great value for money!Its in an odd location but a hidden gem 👌we will be back!

Nice vibe and modern feel. A decent breakfast get together. Would definitely return. There is a attached bakery for some takeaway goodies. Also good Covid protocol with sanitizer on the tables and sufficient spacing.

Not brilliant but not horrible... Food was ok, but have had better. Same with baked sweet treats, not bad but also not the best. Didnt live up to the hype of how family members made it sound.

Definitely an odd location in the middle of an industrial area, but the inside is homey and the bakery has quite a few delicious looking things on offer.We opted to sit outside and had great service from the waiter and hostess. The waiter even brought me extra biscuits for my chai latte as he overhead me saying how good they were!The food was exceptional! Didn’t expect such good quality from such an unassuming little spot.• Chicken Prego - wow! One of the best pregos we’ve had in a while. The roll was soft and floury, the chicken tender and the sauce was spicy and tangy.• Chicken Souvla - a large plate of deliciously flavourful chicken that was cooked perfectly, accompanied by some tasty roasted potatoes and a generous salad.

Food was quite good. Ambiance only fair. Its quite far out. One of those places, if you like it youll love it, else not. Recommend you give it a try

Awesome place, food was amazing, worth the wait as it is freshly prepared; waiters on a bit of a Sunday cruise mode, need to up their game. Otherwise one on my new favorite places!

I visited Sugar’s to attend a 40th and simply loved the decor, and found the staff to be friendly and attentive.I was pleasantly surprised to discover that an old friend of mine going back more than 20 years was the owner.I didn’t have a chance to sample any of their baked goods so will have to pay them another visit soon, but their pizza was amazing!Keep up the great work guys, you’ll see me back soon 👍🏼

Friendly atmosphere. Well spaced tables with good social distancing. Very reasonably priced meals. Bakery desserts are out of this world.

Little jewel in Sabenza. Great vibe. Staff really very friendly. The breakfast was very tasty. Only drawer back seems to be the coffee station. Very slow. But I will definitely go back! I believe their pregos are fabulous.

First experience After sitting down 40 minutes after ordering to get a beverageSecond experience ( got told it’s Valentine’s Day and they closing @ 1 for a private function) after we had booked a table a week prior making it a rush to eat and leave .Third experience got the pizza order completely wrong , pizzas all came at different times having people watching you eat while they wait for their food,Ordered milkshakes , an hour later when we asked where the milk shakes where we were told there is no ice cream ,could of given us a heads up so we could order something else instead.Today walked in to go eat and was turned away because all the tables are booked for a function ..The one start review is that the best thing about that venue is the pizzas are best in town but that’s about all I can compliment ..( please note the this review has not been put up irrationally , the owner and management was made aware of these issues)

Great place. I went there with my 2 friends for a breakfast. They had the rush rush breakfast and i had the avo on toast The coffee was good. Then we were tempted with some pastries... had baklava - divine and the custard in phyllo pastry - fabulous.

Pleasant enough. Never ate...... Sore tooth. So cannot comment on the cuisine.

Wow, from the outside it doesnt look like anything more than just a walk in bakery but actually its a fully functioning restaurant. What a lovely setting. Service was great, food was good. Waiters all wearing masks, sanitizer at the door as well as on each individual table. Lots of space between tables. Really such a lovely establishment for breakfast or lunch.

There is a new Bakery in town. Went for a quick visit to see what Sugars Bakery has in store. They have a sit down area too with meals but we just did a quick drive by, and hopefully will go past again sometime for a meal. Bought some scones and left. Service was bad. We were served by 4 different people. The coffee cold. The pie burnt and had no meat in at all. What a waste.

Been there twice now ,awesome Celtic pub !!!( not Irish haha ) owner is great and provides some great entertainment , if you can, definitely do the tour where you test the beers , absolutely funny and really interesting , dad loved his bachelors here , go carts around the corner for some added fun and a market ..not sure which days

During this harsh covid era our boss just ordered us all a burger and chips meal and this has got to be the best burger ever ...past these times will definitely find this place for a full sit down menu

Great little place for the area. The bakery, food and coffee is ace. Weve been about 5 times now and though the service can be rather slow at times, it always comes with a smile.

After hearing so many great things about this place, I decided to treat my wife and I to something nice from them, man, was I disappointed, got 2 slices of Salted Caramel Cheese Cake, what a let down, the Cheese Cake part was completely tasteless, like it was just a milky colored piece of gelatin, the base, well that was honestly about the worst thing I have ever eaten, it was some kind of biscuit/nut base but whatever was used to bind it was burnt, the only thing that was nice on it was the Hazelnut/Nutella topping, but over all it was quite simply awful, maybe it was just a bad day that they had, I dont know, but I dont think I will be going back there for anything anytime soon

The food was okay nothing to rave about, when we asked about a certain bread they didnt know the type of bread they serve. Ordered desert as well and the cheese cake ( caramel) the base had mold.

Popped in just before it closed to enjoy some baked goods after Id seen an ad on Facebook and I couldnt have had a better experience. I felt quite daring following a Facebook ad for the first time and my nerves only increased when I arrived to an otherwise very industrial location. My nerves were soon put at ease, however, by warm and welcoming staff, the beautiful decor and the surprising peacefulness of the surrounds. My partner and I shared a chocolate brownie, a cinnamon roll and two sugared donuts. We enjoyed every bite and are looking forward to finishing off our leftovers at home.

The live performance made the experience all the more enjoyable!

Was really nice. A few things need a bit of fine tuning. We were a bigish table and food arrived in batches. Some people only got food after most was done eating. And a soft egg is a soft egg and not semi hard. All in all... Ill try it again...

Wow what an atmosphere and gorgeous restaurant. The attention to detail by the owners and staff are a cut above the rest. The Spit braai sheep is out of this world. I really love the fresh baked bread and muffins from thier bakery. The owner greets you like an old friend. Ill definitely be back again soon.

Very enjoyable experience and well priced. If this was in Parktown, people would be queuing to get it. Love the setting- not quite sure but guess it would be termed post- modern. Maybe more vegan and vegetarian options to the menu would be a great addition.
