Treatment and help was super. Security at the front very helpful. Treatment we receive especially as pensioners is much appreciated from the security to the tills. At the floor you get people to show you around and help you. Keep this attitude up.👍

What used to be an excellent hardware that I frequented up to 4 times a day as a builder, I now avoid at all costs. Long loading delays, inept staff, useless security who lose your invoice and blame you. Shocking how much this once great store has gone down

I had a great shopping experience.

I visited this store on the 27th December 2020, week before last. I was looking for a quotation and the staff was extremely uninterested in helping me. They (Fencing Department) were worse and thats exactly the department that was supposed to help me. As much as I hate playing the race card but, the white guy over there made me feel as if I was there to beg for food/cash or something. I mean he was so uncooperative and bored that I felt that I should just leave. Yet as a business owner, my company is a burmeister cardholder. Were entitled to be afforded a quote when we request one by producing the card. Ill never go there for business again.

Staff werent helpful, they would walk off to something else while assisting me, leaving me. I was sent from one department to the next, and after 30min, they couldnt find what I was looking for, a simple fluorescent tube.

Top three hardware stores in east london

I got there 15 min before closing and basically got ignored and the ushered out. No help in the paint dept. Young chap at tools just ignored me standing in front of him and building told me sorry we are closing now. Real pity as I live far from EL and this shop is a must visit for me when we do go.

What I needed had to be bought at an electrical outlet but I got a substitute.

Been there a few times and according to cashier you cant pay with your FNB card, all black private clients card dont work there! Will never recommend burmeisters to anyone! Rather go to BUCO next door.

Great store for building supplies and DIY supplies, its got absolutely everything I can think of, the prices are really good, really competitive to what youll get at these places selling cheap supplies but youre sure to get great quality here.I still think Builders is lots cheaper and offers just about the same level of quality, also their store has more supplies for DIY, landscaping and decorating, it all really depends on what youre looking for.The staff is awesome too, they are all welcoming, very helpful and warm.

Went looking for LED globes and side lamp light fittings. Found the LED globes but not the side lamp light fittings, which dont seem to be easily available. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and the prices were good.

Burmeisters Beacon Bay is a neat, well run store. It has a good range of products available. It could improve its range a bit in certain departments, but overall it is a good store.
