For your fruit and vegetables, main market, Early Morning Market closes at 3pm Monday to Saturday except on fridays when they close around 6pm, otherwise vendor stalls outside close around 8pm. English market houses a variety of businesses ranging from grocery stores to radio technicians, clothes shops, laundry, shisanyama, chemists (regular and traditional), spares shops, you name it. Sunset brings to life the evening candle lit flea markets. You will need the whole day from 4am to 9pm to grasp the shopping concept of Markets of Warwick. Enjoy your visit and be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Place is well cleaned, overcrowded people. Make sure when going here done greet anyone .put your wallet in front pocket or you must put money on your socks in case. Dont answer your phone in public and take out sim card when walking here in case you loose your phone and you still got your sim card.

The place does not look safe and it very dirty. Im taking about outside areas. The municipality is not doing their job well and as a result the market place looks filthy and it smelling. But Chester butchery is very clean inside and the workers are very good and polite.

I have done this tour about 6 times, first on a teacher training course, and then with Grade 12 Geography learners from QGHS. It is a fascinting tour, and they take great care with our safety. After initial hesitation, learners come back full of enthusiasm for the insight that it gives to this vibrant part of our city. It is informative, exciting and uplifting. I am sad that my visits have now come to an end, as I have just retired.
