As lavish and neat as portrayed in the images. A great value for money. Theres definitely no overselling. I enjoyed my stay and Im looking forward to my next visit.

Up to the Bayside standards, nice and neat.. However not sure if it just me or what, but I have booked twice, got 2 separate rooms and both seemed like the aircons just went working.. Other than that I was happy as it cheaper than the other Baysides in CBD..

Bayside hotel is good very good because the restaurants are available in Durban you can walk around if you dont want to walk you can watch the view from the window, you make order and in two minutes you will receive your order. thank you Bayside.

A good place for a visit. Their bedrooms are very clean. You can pay a visit as a group, family or with your partner. You must always be there early for bookings since this place is always full.

I would like them to put plates and more glasses,cups on their family rooms and inform us about how the cleaning team work when they clean rooms when you booked 2/3 nights.

Booked in on Monday night 26/8/19me and my fiance enjoyed the clean air-conditioning room eventhough we would prefer a room with a view..this was our first time at Bayside but we enjoyed every bit of it and booked for a extra day.. friendly staff and security was beyond helpful...thanks will definitely be there very soon.

I was told it is a lodge rather than a hotel. On the inside, the standards are of the hotel indeed. I am definitely spending another night there soon.

Prior to going to the lodge I read and read reviews about the lodge some mentioned poor service, some mentioned poor housekeeping and cockroaches infestation. So I was skeptical to book a room because of such reviews but eventually I booked a room. To my surprise and I mean I was blown off the room was very very neatly cleaned and tidy. There were no roaches not at all and the receptionist, security and cleaning staff were very friendly and professional. I just felt the need to write this review after reading such negative reviews before booking in. The lodge is going through some serios renovations though but only the passages they were working on tiling the passages. Overall great experience, excellent service and the room deserves 5stars!

My first and bad expirience have not even stayed a night is being told i have to pay for the day and night separate rates. Iv booked two nights so i have to pay a rate of R250 for the day then another rate for night. This is the first time ever I have heard of such a thing. Iv worked in hospitality for 8 years i have stayed in so many different Hotels, Lodges and BnBs, this is the first time iv heard of such. Daylight robbery. You need to change that policy.. Its totally unfair.

I have never seen a place that has so much robbery, i was there this weekend, and i have left to go buy food and left all my belongings there and guess what when i came back i have realised that someone else was in the room which is not me and i have over 400 missing. the people that work there has to stop this because it bad behaviour and if they can still from me how many more people that have they stole them from.worse part when i went and complain a lady by the name of londy she was so rude and yet she is the one at reception and issuing keys

Staff needs a proper training , Londy who was in a reception this day she came to me and knock in my room at 6 and she never apologize for that and when I ask for a manager she said the manager is in leave and the security try to explain because he saw that Londy did wrong and she was having an attitude.Lasly when I checked out she shouted to a security and Sthabile to check his phone because she suspended me .I feel so bad and I dnt think I will ever or refer someone to Bayside but only this branch not all

The rooms arr wide open but the funirture inside and the bathroom are not satisfiying at all. It do not have phones to call reception if you have a problem. If you are desparate for the place to sleep then go and book.😢😕

The stay was good but the cleaners make the stay unpleasant the moment they start working ,they make noise and shout each other near the rooms.They was these cleaner named Esther ,she was so rude ,knocking asking us when we gonna leave while we booked 2 days ,the noise she was making when cleaning outside our room was unbearable ,trying to wake us up while we resting,bad experience indeed.
