Visited with friends for a catch up and light lunch. (Party of 7) - Warm reception. Great service. Great music. Conscientious CV-19 protocols. I held back a star because even though we sat outside, a nearby table with two cigarette smoking patrons filled the air with smoke that killed the ambience for me... Otherwise, an overall good experience made possible by the always friendly servers.

Great vibey location, excellent food and fantastic service, will be back to try more fabulous food!

We went to Zacks just after the lockdown ended and was very impressed. I ordered a chicken burger and my daughter had the chicken schnitzel. The burger was huge and tasty, full and perfectly cooked chicken. My very fussy daughter finished the entire plate of schnitzel and raves about it. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the venue clean.Very happily recommended.

Best place to go chill ,relax and eat.The staff is pleasant infact they like family now ,the managers are down to earth and always willing to go the extra mile.This is by far the best restaurant infact the only restaurant I would go to with my wife that feels like home.Our favourite dish is nuchos ,as soon as we enter they know exactly what we want 😅, personally I would recommend this restaurant to anyone .Keep up the fantastic work Zack Windermere .🙏🏼

Went there twice. First time for coffee and a toasted chicken and mayonnaise. Service took long although they were empty. Second visit we were 3 people. Had to wait very long for service again. Eggs benedict was cold when it came to the table. My friend send it back. The manager came to apologise, offered a drink on the house since she did not wanna eat anymore. He tried to fix it, so kudos to him. Just sorry they took so long. Seems like the waitress was to slow.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere on a Saturday night. Food arrived quickly and the waitress was friendly. The pizza was tasty with fresh ingredients but the base was too thin for my liking, so I found the crusts somewhat hard and dry. If youre a fan of a thin base, you will enjoy Zacks pizza. The medium-well steak we ordered arrived well done so was also a bit too dry. The chips were nicely spiced and not too oily.

We went to Zaks 10th December was very disappointed to see it us closed. Why yes we have a lockdown but you can still sell food.

My Husband and I always go to Zacks Restaurant, when we need to shop at Windermere Centre.We really enjoy their coffee, and their toasted sandwiches.Their Menu is also really good.The Managers, and their staff are excellent, and very accommodating, and go the extramile, to make you happy and comfortable.I most definitely recommend this Restaurant.It has a lovely atmosphere, and has inside, and outside seating.

Lovely! Waitress was friendly and engaging and even the other staff were welcoming and charming. Their frozen margaritas were one of the best Ive tasted and their sex-on-the-beach uses delicious pulpy orange juice! The snack basket was generous and each item was very tasty

The wife and I went there to do some dancing and experience the vibe. Loved it ! Lots of happy East Coast party people, doing their Jazz and Salsa thing. Truly cosmopolitan crowd. Definitely recommended.

A bustling restaurant in a leafy suburb. Situated on prime property outside Windermere Centre. Visit for live music on certain days, good food and good atmosphere.

Food was terrable stale wors burnt mushroom not fresh at all biltong like becon chips was like toothpics eggs as well i had a terrible experience , trust me never again infact it does not deserve any rating im only doing it as a requirement

Im a regular at this restaurant on a Sunday. Live music from 5pm to 10pm. Good food good music great atmosphere. Very good management friendly staff....my home from home.

Excellent starters. Crisp spring rolls. Tasty chilli drummers. Great vibe and awesome coffee. Wednesday night music Dave Phillips and the guys...Ill definitely be back.

Its awesome no complaints at all. Would be nice if they could maybe bring back the Sunday afternoon jazz sessions. Other then that its well worth it.

The service was terrible, we were there for 3 hours and by then had only just got mains and that was only after they were hurried along by the staff (it was a school trip, 40 people, but they shouldve been prepared for it). Maybe they were just de-staffed but I wouldnt recommend going there

Awesome place with great Vibe. Location is convenient and the food is divine. There are dance lessons happening there and there is also live band on Sundays. Various public events happening from time to time which brings the place alive. I like it there ...

It is nice and quiet but there is just not enough vibe

We go there very often. They have very friendly staff and while the food can take a bit longer its never been a bad order for us. The eisbein or the vegetarian burger are my go-to meals if Im starving or just peckish respectively.

The only reason I am willing to give it two stars instead of one is because the food, although it took an age to arrive, was tasty. Some of the worst service I have (not) received which is saying something because South African restaurants, even in the poshest of places, are often mediocre. I am often happy if a waitron deigns to check on me once in a while. My cousin and I were largely ignored by everyone, perhaps the staff and management were more concerned about their New Years Eve plans. Every single thing we ordered, even a glass of water, took long to get to our table and if my memory serves there were only three occupied tables with plenty of staff doing very little. One waitress even rested herself at a table near ours. A table wasnt wiped down after departing customers and an elderly lady that sat there had the unpleasant experience of touching whatever stickiness was left over from the previous customers...

Zacks I have been going to Zacks Windermere for over 10 years. My main day that I visit is a Sunday from 6pm to 10pm for the jazz session and sundowner. There us a great atmosphere everyone is like family. The staff are very friendly especially Loraine who is my waitress she is now family. Its a family restaurant so the whole family gets to enjoy themselves. The food is reasonable and very tasty. Looking to de-stress with some music and a place to just chill.... Zacks Windermere is your home away from home. I give this place a 5 star.

My first visit was on Valentines Day and I was not impressed! the service was pathetic and the food was not up to standard. I had to complain to the manager. He apologised that he was short staffed.

Strawberry milkshake is my favorite. I had gone there after a doctors appointment and I was practically dying with the flu their milkshake and fries really was a great pick me up
