Their food is historically good, and did not disappoint today. Their shawarmas are delicious! Looking forward to coming back for more!

Beautiful food if you are interested in big portions,sanguages with ground beef etc this is a place you can never go wrong fir a hungry stomach.

I was very excited to try out casbah again however was very disappointed to receive a malnutritioned and very skinny sandwich. Very big difference from the big thickly filled sandwiches the old casbah were world renowned for. At 80 bucks a sandwich I was not at all impressed

Worst experience ever. staff r so rude its unbelievable. I asked for hot sauce. the host advised me I must use it and give it back as they need it for the kitchen. the food was absolutely pathetic. I wanted to tell the owner to employ new staff. they staff. have ruined the name. I wish I would have the same experience from my childhood. however it was very far from that. I actually left disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting. They still are running on the name of the old Casbah. For the price of the food, you would think quality and presentation would be up to scratch. I will never eat there again. I wish I could give minus stars, one is even to much.

Food sizes are larger than usual but so are their prices. So the qualifying factor of taste would ensure that one returns. Personally I wouldnt return even though theres a splendid alcoholic beverage offering.

So Ive been eating at Casbah since I was a little girl, but its been a few years since Ive last eaten there - unfortunately the food isnt as great as it used to be, though it seems there are some surviving gems. I ordered fish&chips for myself and sadly it was super dry with a slight lack of flavour. Hardly worth the R70 I paid, though it was super filling, which is a plus. My mum ordered a chicken shwarma, which also came with chips. It was actually a pita, but that being said, it was good. Not great, but good, tasty food. One thing that doesnt seem to have changed is their Blondies. This does not come with chips but it doesnt need to - it is massive. I did not taste it personally, but it looked & smelled great, and my brother certainly enjoyed it. I would recommend this meal any day. If youre unsure of what a Blondie is, its basically a huge sandwich with steak, egg, onions, sauce and some other stuff (which I cant remember).

The food was overpriced and was horrible.. No pride taken. I ordered chicken and mayo toast with Tikka sauce. It was absolutely plain... Just with shredded chicken. No onions, mushroom or cheese etc. As previously was. Even the sauce seemed to me tomatoe and I paid R3 more for that. I Wil never go there again.
