Was a pretty decent branch accept when getting at the teller when a Woolworths credit card with enough funds did not go through, then I tapped my card to pay it went off on my account not on the tellers side... And then I was forced to enter the card into the machine and pay a second time... Bad management

We are regulars at Woolworths Cornubia and never had a bad experience up until today.Our shopping came to the value of R4000 and upon ending the sale, we were absolutely embarrassed by the way we were treated by cashier Sherwyn Chundra. I was asked to sign three times. He even called his manager to verify the signature. I even asked him if he wanted my ID but he kept ignoring me and speaking to the lady he called. I am also a manager myself and this isnt the way a customer should be treated.

If youre looking for a decent dining experience this branch of the cafe barely makes the cut. Food was below mediocre. And the service was not good at all. Ive visited this Cafe for years after gym and always recommended this place to friends and family for lunch. However maybe the management has changed. I had to plead with my waiter for a glass of water - ( my sandwich had too much Chilli in it) Which she didnt bring. I had to go to the counter to get it myself.She behaves nonchalantly and doesnt even apologize for not serving me the water or being busy.I get served the wrong sandwich (someone elses food). I find out rudely by the waiter grabbing my food from me without any explanation whatsoever.I rarely ever feel like Ive wasted my money at a woolies Cafe as the quality and service is always phenomenal especially in the Sandton city branch.Will not return

Cafe has amazing food, coffee and friendly staff. I’ve never had a bad experience - the cafe here has 5 stars! Grocery store can be good or bad depending on the day, some days there the store isn’t stocked enough and that can get a little frustrating.

Placed my order and paid for my items. I went to collect my goods today but I was told that the my groceries are not ready for collection and there is not confirmation on when it will be ready!!!!! Very very poor customer service guys. You have failed us in a time like this. Why did you accept our orders online if you knew you cant fulfill??????

I have been a Woolworth customer for many years and I dont understand why evertime i go there at any branch they bread and bread products are always short dated.You buy the bread/or any bread products to find that it expires tomorrow. I refuse to buy anymore from Woolworths.I have complained to management but they do nothing about it.Well sorry I rather go to checkers,spar or P&P and do my shopping because their quality is far superior recently.

Cornubia always a pleasure to shop in this Mall. The design layout is semi circular so park close to the shops u want walk in walk out. I wish more malls in SA were built this way. AMAZING CONCEPT!

Visited the the store 17 Jan 2021.Store had limited stock of some items so this creates frustration. e.g. 2l organic milk, no croissants, spinach.The entrance to the tillpoints can become congested with people in close proximity. Till counters dont seems to be sanistised after every transaction. This is done quite effectively in some other stores and therefore inconsistent with the brand.

The Woolies café at Cornubia Mall is a go to place for my mid week lunches with my Mrs, often have an iced latte and hardly ever disappointed!Plus the shopping experience isnt that bad due to the layout.

Proper covid procedures in place. Distance markings on the floor. Limited people inside the store

Woolworths is always on the ball, nice to visit a store where standards are guaranteed. Their little cafe (post or pre - shopping) is perfect for a cup of speciality coffee or chai. Also love their pastries and cakes. The flourless almond cake and caramel cheesecake are yummy.

This is a lovely Woolworths. Sometimes short of stock but their wine selection is always stocked up nicely

The coffee shop is still closed for sit down but the takeaway coffees and tea ext. are available. Covid protocol is in place. The food area had empty spaces on the shelves. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Love the products and the store, the great packaging and freshness of fresh produce. Efficient till points. Whats not to love. Only complaint is the cash loyalty cards cannot be tracked without the card. So you lose points and savings if you misplace your card sadly. They need to resolve this issue
