Ive always had pleasant experiences with Matrix. Ive had a PSU swapped out, and the staff even offer to give your PC a complete clean, did a fantastic job at a great price.

I was literally the only customer in the store whilst 6 employees were present, i walked in with a desktop & yet not one staff member was able to assist me. Pathetic service. Would recommend anyone go to literally any place else.

I went to get my graphics card installed and got astounding service from the person at the technical counter. He gave me advice and what to do if I got a new one and wanted to get it installed. Matrix Computers is a 10/10 in my book and Ill definitely be going again

It seems to me that these days very few companies know the meaning of service, and I have to say that my granddaughter and I were blown away with the caring and helpful service we received from Matrix, Springfield Park, in particular, their employee Janos, who went out of his way to explain our computer problem to us. In addition to that, the service we received was done in no time at all. Our sincere thanks to Janos and the technician for their help. In my mind there is only one computer shop in Durban worth supporting and that is Matrix, Springfield Park.

Credit must be given to the superb technical staff. Over the last year I have got back into PC gaming and started the journey of selecting all of the correct parts and getting up to speed with PCs again. Joe and Damain have been outstanding since the first case install done in September 2019. Changing cases and providing them with hardware bought elsewhere were not an issue either even though the issue was generally with the hardware. I have nothing negative to say about these two technicians. 5 stars for Matrix Warehouse Durbans technical team.

This store has the worst customer service to assist one who has an emergency. My network cable was ripped out by thieves on Sunday night 28 Mar. After Google search onMon 29th i arrived at the store via their online department around 11h15 looking for a shielded network cable. Tyler assisted me and ordered it from Linkage in Cornubia after i had paid for it as they had no stock. After leaving the store I called Linkage and Jason confirmed they had it in stock and if Matrix would authorize and approve i could collect it from Linkage immediately. I went back into the store and asked for the necessary approval and was turned down by Tyler and his manager Francis Boyce. I left for home in Phoenix and searched network installers and found someone who came around 15h00 on Monday and carried out the necessary repair. Tyler promised to call me when the stock arrived in store.which should be on Tuesday morning. He called me around 15h40 on Tuesday and when asked what time did he take delivery and said about one and half hour ago. I complained about such pathetic customer aervice and he advised that i say it to his manager which i duly done and promised to record this on Hello Peter dot com. In defence Francis advised that they had stock to supply me but retracted his words when told of the type. After debating with him on understanding a persons emergency which meant nothing to him and his sales staff we ended the conversation. I then sent family who was going to the chiropractor to collect the stock on Thursday 01 April as the emergency was resolved by the installer and on arrival she was asked to sign for the stock by Tyler and when she asked him for the days date he blankly refused to advise same and insisted she insert the date, and after a moment she got it and was handed the stock DO YOU THINK I WILL EVER SUPPORT SUCH A BUSINESS EVER NOT IN MY LIFETIMEWORST BUSINESS TO ASSIST WHEN MOST NEEDED. HELP IS NO WHERE NEAR AT THIS FACILITY. DISGUSTING TREATMENT TO A LADY IN PAIN WHEN REQUESTING THE DAYS DATE..DOES TYLER HAVE ANY HUMANITY IN HIM TO TREAT A LADY IN THAT MANNER IMMATERIAL OF HER CONDITION. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING ENTERPRISE TO SUPPORT 🤬🤬🤬👈

Matrix is a disgrace. They have no idea what customer service means. I went there to buy something simple today and I was completely ignored. No one greeted me, My presence was not acknowledged at all. I eventually got so put off that I just decided to purchase online somewhere else. Idk, mayb they think black people are broke and not worth their time. Useless place. Ill never ever go there again.

From a tech perspective I only use them if its the only option, still nice to have a tech shop close just wish they had more options in terms of variety of brands and stock but can understand the restrictions of business and current situations of the market

Good service, cheap prices

After endless problems with my computer, ordered from evetech who were unhelpful to say the least, I finally decided to try somewhere new. I tried computer mania in Stellenbosch, who told me the problem was my motherboard and sold me a new one. My computer still didnt work. I took my computer to incredible connection, where they couldnt even diagnose the problem. I eventually gave up. After about a year I decided to go to matrix warehouse as I was back in Durban. They diagnosed the problem and even checked the warranty on the faulty part. Although it was not their problem, they offered to send my faulty graphics card to the manufacturer for me free of charge and my computer was working within a week. Absolutely awesome, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Bought Rs232 to parallel converter, didnt work straight out the box, had to return for a parallel pci card, this is the third time this has happened at this store, not happy!

Was not impressed with the young man behind the counter who did not seem interested in helping me with my printer cartridge. He was short and sweet. I tried to question him on my printer and he said just look on website. That was a lot of good help when u not computer literate. Thank goodness for my IT guy.

Service is great, staff know their stuff and take the time to go over, listen and understand the problem and then visit and explain options. Spoke with the in-store network technician who extensively advised on numerous steps to take towards resolving the issue.

They have a wide range of PC accessories, I love that.

I Left my laptop with one of the technicians. He told me that he would contact me within 24 hours. A week later I called in as I got no phone call but the technician was not in. I called back 2 weeks after sending in my laptop. The technician was not in again. I went in and picked my laptop up. The technicians that were there that day tried to over charge me (double charge) for my request of a report. (Note I did send in my laptop for an analysis on what was wrong with it). I called the manager and he informed me that it was part of my initial payment which I had already made. He apologized and send me the report via email. Please be very careful and make sure you do check your invoices properly.

I often stop by at least once a month for accessories and electronics, while their prices are a bit high, I dont mind it for the convenience and choice selection of parts.However, the front desk customer service needs improvement. Im not sure if these staff are overworked or just cranky be default. When confronting the salesman about charging me 2 different amounts for the same item (of which I purchased x2 of), he laughs it off and says its older stock, so I must go find another item, its a supplier issue. Id not have made an issue about this if it was not for the salesmans attitude as it was luckily only a R20,00 difference in this case. However, when staff cannot acknowledge a simple error on behalf of the store, and then go further to insult the customer when brought to their attention, by saying oh its only a loaf of bread, it is unacceptable. It is not the customers responsibility to teach staff how to interact with customers and resolve simple issues.Would not recommend using until they train and improve customer service.

Piss poor service, the guy at the counter at a few different times would sit there and not answer the incoming calls, he just cuts the calls and I hate that because I am often trying to call in with no answer. His general attitude is as if he did me a favour by coming to work. Will never go there again, besides I got the item I wanted cheaper at mitabyte.

This used to be my fave place to buy hardware and get advice; no longer: it has lost the big warehouse look and the frontdesk man was rude. Not recommended. I am very sad about this. I will not rate for this poor quality, but have to give this place a star so you can see what I say

Order processing and shipping is worse than the post office I ordered a simple cable from them on the 12th of August it is now over a week and half later and the order is still processing. Their prices are amoungst the highest as well
