Did a Sim swap. Consultant told me it takes 24-72 hours to be activated. He didnt give me a new Sim card and told me it will activate on the old card. After 5 days, I cant get network or use my phone. Yet I am being billed for it.Secondly, I took a new contract for my wife, the consultant pushed a huawei contract because they dont have stocks of Samsung phones. He told us all the aps will work. He misled us and. Gave a bad deal to us, who are pensioners. Sent numerous emails, but to no avail. No response. Disgusting service who prays on the old.

I have been calling this store for so many days now. No answer. Been to the store, the lady at the door told me they out of stock of the phone I wanted, I should call in a few days. Been trying ever since and no answer. She didnt even have the decency to offer to take down my number and call me back once the shop had received stock.

Good service. Good people with good job knowledge. Much better than the other branches I have visited.2021/04/20 My wife and I was just there to do both our upgrades and it was flawless. When you get there go to Ryan. He is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Super impressed with his level of service. So glad he helped us. My 5 star is based on the service we received from Ryan. You see other people at your own risk :)

Telkom Express, true to their name, walk in ask for assistance, sorry we offline or they cant help the query please call.....EXPRESSLY walk out. Staff dont acknowledge you, they pretend you did NOT just enter the door, at that point I expressly walk out.Please Please try not to ever go there, let them wonder why no customers are walking through their doors.

I have come to the Westwood branch to change my number to wireless 3 times, there is apparently only one or two people that can do it and they take lunch at the same time when customers are waiting. They have no regard for customers time and when you enter they make it clear that you will wait and or the system is slow and they will not be able to assist you. What a nightmare.

The manager was extremely rudeI went to the store with the company owner because I was the one who took out contract on behalf of the company owner because he was unavailable as he is working offshoreI was getting billed extra on my contact and phoned telkom multiple times and was told different times now when you are being billed more than R1000 every month you begin to worryHere is the interesting partThe store manager refused to let us both inso the company owner had no clue what to say to the people inside and I was the only one who knew what was going onThey refused to listen to me when I told them this and refused to let us in without sanitizing our handsThe manager spoke to us without his mask on and entered the store without sanitizing his hands and he went to the shops to get foodWhen I got Into the store we wernt allowed to sit together although we were keeping social distancing as per request from the government whilst I was trying to quickly explain to the owner what to tell the people inside so that our issue can be resolvedI then lost my temper with the manager because he also refused to sit in and help us resolve our issue when we asked him outside the store before enteringThe manager then called the police because I was not sitting where he instructed me however I was sitting somewhere where I was more than 1m away from anyoneEverything got heated quickly because the store manager had poor handling capabilitiesWhilst I was outside dealing with the manager and calling the police the company owner inside did not know what to explain to telkom but the agent tried he r hardest and her skills would get a five star from me she tried to tell the manager herself that she could help us but he refused and kept telling us that billing will take control of it and that billing will phone is (bare in mind they havent even phoned us for the past issues ) and that the agent must not help us so we had no option but to leavePlease note we tried to explain our situation MULTIPLE times to your manager and would speak over us and refuse to listen to us and constantly tell us that it was billing we must call but for five months billing has not helped us.I am very dissapointed.

Telkom in westwood mall. Most pathetic service I have ever received. I have canceled a contact in November 2019 to date they are still debiting my account which I have to reverse every month. They are incompetent and should sort the line out because no one ever answers.Visited the store to sort out my queries numerous times and still no joy. Regret renewing my contact with them most useless bunch of idiots.

For a Telkom store it has the worst line of communication - their landline is continuously engaged, as if they put the phone off the hook. Plus their cell number is continuously off or alternate they don’t answer the phone. The manager is so arrogant, he lacks customer service etiquette . When you report your problems to him, he is arrogant, never listens to the customer. He needs to replaced, with an efficient manager who has customer service excellence

When I arrived at Telkom I was 4th in the queue. 80 minutes later I was served. There were 2 employees in the back, one of which eventually came out only to take her lunch break. Terrible experience!!

Went to store to change from Vodacom to Telkom and port the Vodacom number. Face to face the staff is very helpful. Was told that in 24 hrs the port will go through and request completed. A week later after numerous calls to customer care and the shop the issue was not resolved. The customer service is rubbish as you can never get through to speak to an agent and the Shop in Westwood Mall is worse as you can never get through on the number. Eventually when I got through I could not speak to the person who assisted me but left a message to call me back and stressed on the severity of the issue and even said Ill take the matter up if I dont get a call back. And to my dismay I did not get a call back.

The service is poor as the staff does not have any training or knowledge of what they are doing here. They dont answer the phones and the manager seems to be on training all the time. When I entered the store I found an old couple with the same problem Im having. They still have not received their phone from repairs after a month and had to leave the store without any service. After a month I now got told that they didnt take the necessary documents from me. The could not take it when I brought a 6 day old phone in and for a month could not phone me to ask me to bring it back to them. Now they tell me that the product is of such low quality that the supplier ran out of parts and even phones. I personally think that this store needs to be closed as there is no competent person to uphold the service from either Telkom or any of the products they sell.

Good store , seating is extremely awkward. Hope they redesign the store and have a better screening program for their potential client. My spouse is unemployed and they call her for contracts but when i try , they reject me. Im not even close to blacklists, thats why i rather stay with Vodacom and CellC.

I went there the first time their service was great I gave 5 stars, Ive been on three more occasions, they dont know what the blady hell they doing. I Think they need to go for some training, they cant do a simple WiFi contract, still waiting for my router, 1 month later. Hopeless!!!!!

Been to the store 7 times already, to do a sim swap/port that some one clearly does not know how to do, waited three and a half weeks, decided then to cancel the swap/port as still not active and rather get a new sim - was promised to be contacted and be sorted in a few hours time, how ever Kuben and Bonga are giving me the run around. Some one thinks i have time to waste like them,This store seems like taking the trophy away from Overport as one of the worst telkom store, in DurbanI await the message reply from owner do better in future - please dont apologize for poor service. Fix it permanently, and dont blame others,Called 180 also now, Kuben nor Bonga - did nothing, just gave me a sim and told me to go and they will contact me, Pathetic service.. - should be getting Zero Stars from me... they played with my good nature.Dont judge a book by its cover store looks - wow - service is awful..which is an understatement

I came into the store to do a change of ownership of a landline and adsl line. There are 4 people thats sitting ans doing absolutely nothing and I was told there is only 1 person that can assist me however she was busy with a client. I waited for 2 hours. She apparently is the only consultant that handles landlines (fixed) the rest of the consultants handle mobile. However she was busy with a client that was required laptop & mobile assistance.The service at this store is extremely poor. Consultants are extremely bored as they are not trained to assist in all services offered by telkom so they can not assist clients.Pathetic service at Telkom Westood.

I upgraded my wifi router last month from a 1 gig to the 20 gig day and 20 gig night. Last night I noticed the 20 gig day was used up. I know i have not used that much data so I log on and see that I was put on the 10 gig plan instead. So I leave work today at 16:30 and get to Westwood mall at 17:30 knowing well that the store closes at 18:00. As I have three contracts with this store. At 17:35 the doors are locked but people are inside as I stand there the last customer is walking out. So I stood there and a black male working for telkom opens the door for the customer to leave. I asked him what time do you close. Hoping to come in earlier the next day to sort the problem out. Without answering properly he starts closing the door on me. Needless to say I lost my cool and ask him again. He responded to say the store closes at 18:00 but because of security it closes at 17:30. There is no signage giving any times what so ever. It took me at hour to get to Westwood mall telkom only to have this rude person close the door on my face. He then continues to say he does like my tone. After he has no respect he expects me to speak to him in a proper manner. He then says he is a man. I replied I dont care whether you are a man or not you need to have respect for your customer there is no signage whatsoever to say anything of your times. I am going to publicize this incident as much as I can. Retail staff need to learn that we are customers just because they decided to close 30 minutes earlier does not mean that all the customers know that. Have respect for your customer dont close the door of their face just because you want to go home early. If security is a problem speak to the mall to upgrade their security.

I have been calling this store for hours to no avail. Why would you put up a number that is not in service on your page. And i swear if Telkom responds and gives me a call center number i will scream. I shouldnt have to go through the call center to find out stock related issues or working hours etc for that matter. The in store service might actually be good but il never find out because im taking my business else where. If i strugle to just get hold of them theres no telling what else il struggle with. I had my reservations on dealing with a SOE and now it is confirm. I rather go with another service provider. Crappy experience. This store has the worst customer service ever. I went to the store four times, called all four numbers and no one picks up, i had to wait 1:30 min to be attended to and was told my query will be sorted within 12 hours. I tried calling all 4 number from 9:02 this morning to find out why my query has not been sorted and no one picks up. You cannot be so busy as soon as you open. Never will I ever go to this store again.
