Yoh the car I got - I cannot believe it. What a let down! I literally cant wait to send it back tomorrow. I could only get a car in Group A because I booked late however I did not expect the quality of car got.1. The radio doesnt even switch on2. The brakes make a sound3. The car just makes funny noises4. The smell in the car?! Yikes!I never thought a car would cause this much anxiety to my trip. My mother even dreads the times we need to leave the hotel - Ive had to Uber to some places because of her discomfort. Im saddened that this created a negative point to her birthday/Mothers Day weekend.

Excellent Service Received from Ashlin Pillay.. I requested for a certain car, Ashlin Pillay had the car ready under an hour. 45 mins tops.I used the car for 4 days and experience A possible Air leak from Rear left tyre. Tasha arranged for a swop.Thank you guys for the Excellent service..

Very good. Friendly service and I didnt stand in line long at all, so the agents are very efficient. Also got upgraded to a bigger car (for free) which is awesome!

Doesnt check dents snd fcratch properly always get reports that you hsve scratched the car ir even tell you , you even painted it thinking we wont notice that

We travel a lot for business and I have dealt with pretty much all the car rental companies in SA, even some private ones, and Bidvest is the best in my opinion. Their staff is by far the friendliest, especially in CT Int and King Shaka. Their drop off at another branch surcharge is also the lowest.

The lady (Cheryl Chetty) was awesome she was incredibly helpful and she organized our car quickly and when we had to cancel her service was just as efficient. Lovely experience.

I highly recommend NOT using Bidvest Car rental. There is much better service providers in the form of Avis, Hertz etc.They deduct incorrect charges from your account which then takes days to correctly reflect. They furthermore deduct charges from your credit card without any notification or support.Staff is furthermore not helpful at all and takes ages to correct the wrongdoings after multiple follow up mails.AVOID AT ALL COSTS USING BIDVEST CAR RENTAL.

So after filling up my hired vehicle upon return-At the Sasol Garage 300m away from the drop off, showing them the gauge and providing a receipt, I still got charged R142 for fuel costs. When I enquired, I got told that the car was not completely full and that they have a “special” way of filling the car up!! Absolutely disgraceful how they can just charge your card for that!Will never use them again!!

Im currently experiencing the worst service ever at Bidvest Car Rental in Durban King Shaka Airport, week in week out they give us a Suzuki that has the gear lever cover torn out, The brakes makes a rough sound The car has dents and is a nightmare to drive. The eTag is always not working so when you leave the airport without R6 to pay for the toll gate that exits you out the airport you are screwed! Its a one way you cant go back but you got a hired car to go through the toll system. This has been happening for all my trips to Durban Im starting to think its been done on purpose. These are our lives guys so please give us cars that are in proper condition and check if all is well with the car.

They try to charge me for a GPS unit I returned. Last time I used them. Good rates are available at other car rentals as well.

Trying to set us off in a car with no front tires. Worst service ever. Lacking empathy. After two hours there came another car allegedly after washing, guy at car park said it was standing there for two days. The staff helping really had no care at all and were sending a family off with 1.0 mm thread. Never ever again

Had car trouble. Phoned customer care, the branch was going to swop the car but at their convenience so ended up having to drive my whole journey worrying if Im gona get stuck

Got upgraded to SUV automatic and such customer care just created a beautiful experience and made my stay in Durban perfect.

Most horrendous car rental experience ever. Having booked the car with super cover, but surprise amounts being deducted for additional hail damage cover, incorrect administration fee, fuel cost after the bidvest employee have confirmed with me that the car was filled up and full when returned. Staff unhelpful and rude trying to sort this out. Will not recommend their services and will definitely not be using their car rental service ever again
