A good place to pass the time when someone is in hospital. Great food and light meals. Dessert selection and drinks are especially good. The staff are friendly and accomaditing.

Firstly your nursing staff are not passionate at all. My wife was admitted into ICU medical they couldnt insert a drip properly they messed up her hand. They were administration injections in her stomach and left her with bruises. The nurses in ICU were supposed to be sisters but they had no idea what they were doing. When she went into the general ward they took photos we still dont have any answers and no one is talking responsibility and accountability for what has happened. I am not going to rest until I receive answers. I will inform the media and expose the hospital. This is not acceptable my wife is at home suffering from short of breath and tiredness is that not enough she has to deal with all the other problems created by the hospital staff. I need the hospital manager to meet with me and I need to know how this is going to be sorted. People come to the hospital to get and feel better but instead they are going home feeling more sick than they came in the first place.

It was a good place to kill time whilst visiting a family member in hospital. The coffee was very good and the cake was very fresh and delicious. All the food was prepared well and it was better than some coffee shops in the area. I will recommend you try this place out, you will not be disappointed

Decent Cafe, comes in handy when you at the hospital for long stretches and cannot leave. Service is a bit slow. There is a decent variety of stuff from savory to sweets and drinks. Prices are a bit steep and my service rating hence my 3 stars.

Fix up the hospital before you open a cafe on this scale. Over-priced and pretentious. Branding, product range and packaging makes you wonder about the priorities of the hospital. What is the outcome here? You might as well do the whole Wimpy thing and add a few toys for the kids. Hospitals are to offer comfort sick people and not to surf around on your lap-top after a mouthful of cheese-cake while waiting for a client to arrive.

The worst possible service from the high-care ward nurses. When you ring the nurse buzzer for help, the nurses take +10mins to respond to you and when you ask them for something simple, like water, they look at you with disgust as if they expect you to take all you drips and machinery to the kitchen and get it yourself.Absolutely no care in the world for their patients. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone purely from the service received from the high-care ward alone. I can only imagine what the service is like in the less important wards.

Pathetic service.Patient admitted on Monday night. Bloods done Monday night. Results came Tuesday as all clear. The rest of the day nothing. Wednesday ecg and Echo cardiogram done after family forced them to do it. Only done in the afternoon.Wednesday evening the doctor orders dollar test. By 15:00 nothing done. When family phones the hospital and gets upset..the nurses say it is booked for the next day. When family goes to the hospital and questions them, then the nurses change the time to do it the same time.Nurses also said they afraid to phone the doctors because the doctors will get upset with them.I dont understand. The real story is that the nurses forgot to send the patient for the Dopler test on the Thursday morning.Wasting medical aid funds!!!!!Wasting patients time!!!!!This hospital is only for STEALING PEOPLES MONEY!!!!!!

My son was admitted to the Paediatric ward on 29 October 2014 with breathing difficulties. The staff were absoluetly amazing! They were quick, efficient and very understanding and helpful. I cannot pin point exactly who stood out the most, as each nurse was truly amazing. I can even acknowledge the PA, Ronell for her friendliness. Thank you very much to Tamara for being the last nurse to attend to my son, stay as quirky and fun as you are. To the head day and night nurses during the week stay, thank you very much for your advice and understanding. I honestly cant even complain about the training staff.I do have one negative remark, which does not fall onto the staff at all. The Menu for the children is not up to standards. Same portions are given to all ages. The food is defnitely not child friendly. I feel a child needs to eat to build up their strenghts, why serve food that they do not like? Hashbrowns, chicken nuggets, mini chicken burgers, fun foods, that will make children want to eat. The pizza is really not meant for a child (says margharita, but I found peppers, onions and even a bite to it). for breakfast, children were left hungry. why not add some cocktail sausages or bacon with the egg????time frames are also not great, as dinner is served way to early, leaving kids still hungry at seven, with no substitute of sandwiches.Overall my week experience at the paediatric ward was surprisingly very good! Superb staff !
