Heidis Cafe is a little hidden gem, just a stone throw away from Ansteys Beach.Perfect place for a breakfast and coffee/smoothie, with affordable prices.Its got a chilled, surfer vibe and they can get very busy, but its worth the wait.The one waitress really went out of her way and we will definitely be coming back again, and introduce more people to this place.

Grabbing a morning breakfast here offers a multitude of sensory flavours. The scent and sound of the sea just 200m away, the blue sky, the fresh air and the atmosphere is worth as much as the food. The building blends naturally into the sloping dunes and is tastefully decorated with simplicity. This place is a tribute to all who have ever surfed Ansteys Beach. See for yourself. Amazing place for a great breakfast. My husband and I go at least every second morning there for breakfast when on holiday in Durban which is about 3 times a year. Best value for money that I have seen on the Bluff and in Durban! Heidi herself is a warm and lovely host. Even had my wedding cake made by her and it was fantastic.My husband is a head chef and I am a head pastry chef, so we know a great breakfast when we have one! You wont be disappointed.

Love this place, Heidi and the other people that work here are just so friendly and welcoming. You feel like youre just going over to your friends place and having some breakfast.The decor is very interesting and unique. Theres books, games, video tapes all over that you can interact with and lots of pretty succulents.Its small, cozy and an excellent place for some good coffee, breakfast and, if youre lucky, a slice of cake.

Small, relaxed venue, with an uncomplicated menu. Service is a tad slow, not the place to gobble and go but perfect for a leisurely breakfast. Food is very tasty and good value for money. Coffee is great. Second time weve been and have not been disappointed.

This is the most amazing breakfast cafe that caters for everyone. Heidis always present, makes sure that everyone had a personal experience with her, and the food is excellent. My 1st choice every time. Her lemon meringue pie is to die for and the salted caramel sauce is marvellous! Well worth a visit

The place is a little hidden gem on the Bluff. I loooved the rustic decor and sea views. I dont think I would eat there again though. Food was very very basic and I thought a bit over priced for the quality. If you looking just to grab a cuppa with a friend, then this would be for you.
