Very bad experience the manager of iStore pavilion that lady doesn’t know the store policies properly. I collected a device a day before and the day after requested to do an upgrade the device was still sealed. But she said they must trade it as if it’s been used. Left the store went to another istore I was sorted immediately with another device as I was requesting at the iStore pavilion but was denied.

Absolutely the worst experience of customer service I have ever had. Received a call the day before confirming my appointment for a battery replacement with them. When I arrived from Pietermaritzburg I left my phone to be repaired with them. After waiting around with my wife and 2 really young children for 3 hours I got a call telling me to come collect my phone. I go to collect my phone and get told that they could not repair it due to no stock. I have been waiting for over 5 months now for them to get battery stock. I have replaced my phone battery by myself now. I am still waiting for their phone call. Perhaps due to them recording incorrect details on my invoice I haven’t received a phone from them yet.

I had the most amazing service from a young lady by the name of Luwairiyah Khan .She had the patience to persevere with my request and did not stop ( +- 45 minutes) until she had sorted it out . What a pleasure having that kind of service.Promotion recommended.YoursGilbert Dufourq

Asolutely incompetent and not helpfull at all.We came there with a homepod which still has warranty... the manager with his hands in his pocket only said that they don‘t sell homepods in SA and that they are NOT an Apple store. That‘s it!The manager in the US which they called only repeated: „You have to go to a country where they sell the homepod!“ On every question the same answer...Can‘t we expect a better service from an expensive premium brand as Apple and their stores (as well from their re-seller stores like I-store)?If they would have read the booking reason for the appointment they would have known what it is about and we wouldn‘t have wasted our time there. They just don‘t care.Good example for bad costumer service.

I was such a fan of apple- for years.That changed today.I have bought a HomePod in Switzerland 1.5 years ago. Moved back to SA a while ago. Suddendly the HomePod shows a technical fault, which is apparently a common one. Booked a technical appointment and informed via comments what the issue was. NOBODY reads those comments. I drove 2 hours to get the info that South Africa has no service technicians on HomePods! Absolute shocking. Been on the phone for 45 Minutes with Apple Support telling me I need to fly back to get it fixed. Asked the manager to at least send it in for me as it was still under waranty. Leon was rude with his hands in the pocket telling me he can’t help. iStore is not Apple only premium reseller. Steve Jobs would turn in his grave if he would know that his international products are not being handled international. This is SHOCKING with a rude and arogant attitude. Stay away from this store

Went there yesterday to do a cell upgrade, the lady I dealt with was rude, arrogant and unfriendly, every question I asked was answered parrot fashion like a robot, a simple upgrade took over an hour. A premium brand like Apple should consider hiring staff who are capable and knowledgeable of what they are doing and the products they are dealing with. Pathetic service!!! shocking!

I attended twice. The first time around, I awaited the promised SMS while standing in a fairly long but well ordered queue. No SMS was forthcoming, so I left the store (somewhat annoyed at the dysfunctional system). The second attempt was after an online application for an appointment. The appointment system worked well. My Apple unit has to be taken in for repairs which will take a few working days for a quote and due process... EFFICIENT second time around using online appointment.

Very dissapoint with the Service delivery at iStore Pavillion. The indian lady in particular was rude and showed no interest in assisting me, i was a cash paying customer and i was turned away with 22K in cash to buy a phone.

Bad experience with irepairs Pavillion, Durban. They make false promises on the pretext to get your work. Each of the employees gave me a different reason why the repair is delayed. Tried to call the business owner on his cell phone and to date he has not returned my call. I would have expected him to at least be respectful of me as a customer and talked to me. They offered me a discount but I refused and I removed my laptop unrepaired from them out of principle. Very unethical business.

Very disappointed, took three items in for repair, an iPhone, ipad and mac keyboard. Cant/wouldnt repair any of them. All they wanted to do was sell me replacements. This after waiting 90 mins in their ridiculous queue. What is the point in having a repair service if you are unable to repair your own products!

Honestly its average. People dont assist you, and it seems that the staff is not well versed in their own technology. When I walk into am istore I expect to walk into a store where people are extremely knowledgeable about their products instead I ask a question and have to wait for them to Google it. Anyone can do that. I wish there was just more to the experience, I mean it is Apple after all.

Good advice, staff were great but as always Apple products are just ridiculously priced.I use a LG G8 ThinQ dual screen knocks the socks of all phones on the market and I use a Apple 6s because my job demands i have Apple and Android. I would never become an Apple fan.

First time going to the store and I wouldnt recommend to anyone ever! We went to apply for the Pro Max and we were advised to come back the next day as the system wont process the application after 16:00, just been to the store now and were told the Pro Max has been out of stock for a long time and theres no clue as to when it will be available again 👎🏾. Such incompetence and a huge inconvenience from the staff at this store👎🏾.

Pathetic. They have no stock of any new item that comes on the market. They will not let you pay in advance in case there is a price change. On the last occasion I paid by EFT they made me wait 10 days for clearance. They made me use alcohol on my hands before entering the store but there was a staff member whose mask was not covering her nose.

Friendly and efficient staff. I recently went to this branch of the iStore to do a cellular upgrade. However the system was down but my agent said she will process my upgrade as soon as its online again . By the next day I had my brand new iPhone and a free repair voucher

Yesterday my friend and I came to the iStore at the Pavillion Mall to get my MacBook Air sorted. Approximately 5 minutes before the store closed, a man stood firmly in front of the busy shop and seemed like he was blocking us. The man stopped us and asked what we would like done and we told him about our enquiry to which he almost immediately said that they do not do that here. We continued and elaborated about our enquiry and said that we came here to check the battery of the laptop and mid-sentence he said “no we don’t do that here”. We then proceeded to say that we just need the laptop opened and he interrupted mid-sentence again and said “No we don’t do that you can take the laptop to Joburg to get it fixed”. And then lastly I said “We just need a tool small enough...” to which he interrupted abruptly and said “We don’t have any tools”. We felt like this man had no intention of wanting us to get the help we needed.

Yesterday (05.06.2020) at about 15:30pm at Pavilion istore I had a very bad experience. The lady who was standing at the door was very rude, I told her I needed assistance with my iphone, she just gave me a number to call and she did not give me a chance to speak to the consultant. She didnt even want to know what the issue was with my iPhone, she was just rude. I was so disappointed as I have never received such treatment at Pavilion istore before.

A company turns money from offering optional extras on the spot.I now have to make a third separate trip into the store to purchase this.. time is money...

I waited in store for a query to be addressed which should have been escalated to the store manager, however the Store Manager had more important business to tend to outside the store rather than dealing with an unhappy client in the store. This service has been matched at the Gateway store.Not sure where to turn as online service can only tell you what you already know and can be likened to any public service department for inability to resolve issues.
