I happened to visit this Durban Decofurn store. I need share some my personal views after my visiting here. Generally, Decofurn furnitures showed me below features,1. Relatively cheaper prices comparing to other chain furniture stores2. Most furnitures Quality are OK. This is why I rank Decofurn only 4 STARS but not Full STARS.3. Options of variety selections are much more than other furniture stores4. Especially, i feel that, prices of kitchen sideboards, bedroom robes, dress tables Plus dining tables are all surprisingly much much cheaper in present furniture market.5. Online purchase if more than R3999 will result into free delivery, a normal but effective marketing way.I personally anticipate several new promotion discounts started by Decofurn in the future.

The warehouse is wonderfully stocked and the staff attentive. The furniture availability and affordability is on par for any individual needs. Highly recommend this store.

Great products at reasonable prices as well as great service

Very disappointing quality of recliner sofa sets. Sales people are just like second hand car sales people. Steer away and spend your hard earned money else where. The sofa peels off and the recliner mechanisms are unreliable and break.Their dining tables are good quality though and reasonably priced. Very disappointed customer.

This was such an experience for me and my family. We managed to purchase so much furniture at affordable prices. For us Rumba is an excellent sales lady and very good at her job. She is very knowledgeable about all the products available. She is also very friendly and professional. Keep up the good work Rumba Cheryl.

Large showroom with a great range.Their prices are the best in town but they fall down when it comes to service and systems.You HAVE to order through a salesperson but before you can complete your order with them they run off and help someone else.Then when you get to the cashier you wait... it is an extremely inefficient way to do buisness.The dispatch is even worse. You have to then wait again while they pick your order and then open every box to inspect the contents.Today it took us an hour and 5 minutes to buy one office chair!!!Why cant we just pick up and item, go to the cashier and pay?

Didnt know about this decor shopping gem until recently. They have great stock in their warehouse, supplying stores such as Mr Price. Plenty of sale items ensure great monthly bargains and the staff are extremey helpful. I was able to pick up a beautiful glass coffee table priced at R600 less than what i had found in another retail store. Definitely worth a visit. They have a very user friendly online shopping store too, for those who prefer to buy online.

Trying to call their sales department in durban is a nightmare. At first no one wanted to speak and when I Spoke to a consultant who could not give any information and asked me to watsapp her and she will get info. She also had me on the line for 10 minutes whilst she spoke to another customerThereafter tried online buying, spoke to an efficient lady who within 2 min found the stock and sent me an email to process my order

Not wheelchair friendly. No reserved parking & layout of store hasnt considered the width of a wheelchair at all. I always had to go a long way around, or try & move the furniture to gain access to furniture I was looking for

I’ll give them a star for the relatively cheap price and speedy delivery. I purchased a leather upper recliner. The sales rep advised that as long as I look after it, it should last 5-10 years. I followed their instructions to the letter and 2 years later leather upper pealing off, springs are broken and stitching coming out. After speaking to a few upholsterers, they all have the same opinion, don’t waste your money on their couches. Office furniture is ok, but the rest is rubbish.

You will ultimately be so impressed with their systematic ordering system and payments solution employed there. Stop hiring people who have no sense of what good customer service is. The girl who answered my call had the audacity to say she was annoyed by my inquiry to whoever was next to her before talking to me on the phone.

Decofurn is by far the worst store to buy at i purchased a lounge suite around late October 2020 i only started using it in December 2020 the workmanship on the lounge suite is so bad its as if its been used for a few years when its just uses for less than 6 months i. Called in late January to register a complaint about the quality of the product they advised to send an email which I did and nobody responded i called after like 3 weeks enquiring did they receive my email the customer service was absolutely useless I had to email again and call again they sent out technician to have a look its been a month nobody called i called again this morning i spoke to a rude person that did not even listen to what i a telling her she says she will get her manager to call me back i advised i want to speak to him she says that he is a meeting i advised i will hold on she just leaves the phone with not saying anything she was absolutely rude not listening or understanding me at all she was not helpful at all when i bought the product itwas fine now that i have a issue there is no assistance this is awful service i dont advise anyone to buy from decofurn. I wouldnt even give them a a1 star its actually 0 star for service and quality of there products

Amazing affordable furniture, with friendly staff

Manager of Springfield branch KZN is so rude. No manners in talking.Bully..At one stage i was afraid to continue the sale after i seen his attitude and started to imagine incase i have a return or products damages ..then how will he then react. The company needs to spend some money and send this manager for customer relation courses.He is in dire need of it.All his staff is totally pretrefied of him.

I was unfortunately disappointed that items on display were out of stock and would only be available after a few weeks.However I do like to mention the very good sales lady Samke, who was most helpful.

BTW WE HAVE PURCHASED A LOUNGE SUITE AND A TABLE WITH CHAIRS AND HEAD BORD AND SIDE DRAWS WHICH WAS OVER THE VALUE OF OVER R30000 . WE WILL NOT COME TO THIS STORE AGAIN! PLEASE SEND HER FOR TRAINING. Price is not too badBut service is atrociousExperience on Saturday & Sunday (19 & 20 Dec 20)No cooling, warehouse/showroom is extremely hot.Once you have chosen your items, expect a 20-30 minute wait in the queue to pay.Then expect another 30 minute wait for their warehouse to get the item/s.Rather order online and let them deliver to you.Also rather pay for assembly as their instructions have errors and you may battle alone.

The store was extremely hot , as the airconditioning either was insufficient or not working. The sales lady should have informed us about assembly of products etc. She could have tried to be more helpful.

OK spot. Decent stuff. Reasonable prices. Beware. You buy unassembled furniture. Then suffer to get help to assemble - promises of help not kept. A week later my stuff still in planks on the floor. Grrrrrr

Decofurn is nolonger the same, I bought my furniture here 2-3 years ago and I received the great service. But this year when I went there it was totally different. There was no one to assist me, you also have to wait outside (no chairs) before entering the warehouse because of covid-19. Most of the things are out of stock.

If I could give no stars I would. Sales staff are mostly clueless. If youre lucky to get one that is helpful, good luck with the after-sales. They were out of stock of something i ordered and gave me an absolute runaround for a refund. The manager doesnt attend to calls, isnt there 90% of the time and nobody else can assist apparently - and the telephone line suddenly gets very bad if you have a query. One star i would concede is the staff in the warehouse are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Store and furniture was great major issue I had was I waited over 45 minutes to get assistance from a sales representative however due to time spent waiting we ended up leaving with out any purchases.

Good quality furniture at great prices however they lack in service badly short staffed on their sales floor other than that an overall value for money.

Was looking an office chair and they prices are reasonable. Items I priced as singles. They have a wide range of lounge sets and beds chairs and tables for household use. Little lighting and foot stools however experience with staff is friendly but product knowledge is average. Good place to shop if you looking for reasonably cheap household furniture.

Nice showroom. Unfortunately they are severely understaffed on most weekends. Best bet is to go to the showroom, check the product you want and then order it online. There are always specials online that arent available in store.

I purchased 5 chairs. The sales lady confirms that the chairs will be delivered in 10 days time. 2 weeks later I start phoning. Apparently the chairs are still on a ship...they might be here in a month. So 10 days became 6 weeks (if I am lucky). So basically I was lied to and a mumbled apology is my compensation. #donotshophere
