Atrocious after sales service, been trying to get my hisense TV looked at for 5 days. Dealing with vicky who tells me a technician will be tasked. Technician phones me this morning to say he is on his way to fix the Siemens coffee machine,really. Phoned vicky again after how many calls to them saying hisense TV, nothing about a coffee machine. We are now being put on the priority list, pray tell me what does that mean

In the interior of KZN, few places sell comprehensive ranges of appliances. Hirsch Hillcrest is like heaven for us deprived of wide product ranges/ makes and reasonable prices and is well worth the visit. Also look at their website where you can contact real people for help.

They sell best electronically products at a discounted price.

Hillcrest Hirsch.The after sales service of Hirsch Hillcrest has got to be some of the worst in this country.Each week I contact the person allocated to the service “Nicholas” in which he can never provide an update and gets someone to contact me back with an excuse why they cannot deliver. The numerous excuses are starting to be contradictive and leads me to think no one knows what’s going on. Their service department is unprofessional and unsatisfying.

Bought a brand new Defy washing machine from Hirschs online in June 2021. I have reported that the front door and soap dispenser is leaking, and the machine has started making a terrible knocking sound when in the spin cycle.As per the CPA (which is legislated law in this country) I have requested Hirschs to send a replacement machine as the machine is less than 6 months old but they insist that the machine is covered under warranty with Defy. The issue is the pathetic service from defy, thus now requesting Hirschs to abide to the law as per the CPA that allows customers to request a supplier to replace a faulty unit within 6 months on delivery. (i am now only 4 months into the 6 months)

Very indifferent and unfriendly staff. I will never set foot into a Hirsch store ever again despite having purchased several items from them. The Executive should have a clean out in Hillcrest and replace the miserable staff.

Staff are friendly. However I have been trying to get a belt for my washing machine since March, its now mid-August and I still havent received it. Just went to them today to order the belt again. I cant tell you how many times I have called or visited their store to try and sort this out. Im hoping today is the last time.

The best retailer to use to compare the different appliance brands. They have dedicated spaces allocated for each appliance brand with all their products on display. This make it easy to see each similar item under one roof. If you need appliances, Hirchs is the place to go to.

Make you feel comfortable, quick and good service and advice. Try to punt their extended warranty, which is annoying but I guess they ar just doing there job. Keep going back to them for the big purchases.

The last two appliances purchased here are sub standard. Whirlpool gas range lasted just over 2 years, the Hirschs service is absolutely useless. The fridge Hi Sense does not keep anything fresh, again, service is pathetic.

I have been a good customer of Hirschs, however that was in Gauteng. First time in Hillcrest. What a tragedy. Shop layout as usual for Hirschs absolutely fantastic. SERVICE, non-existent, I walked around the show room 3 times looking at every dishwasher and top loader washing machine. 18 minutes. Was not approached once in that time! Sadly, purchased same appliance they had in stock today at alternative supplier. One would have thought in these trying times SERVICE would be priority ONE!!

Shocking shocking shocking service. Still waiting 3 weeks later for a call back for a Dysan Cordless Vacuum. Bought a gas Hob about a month ago. Had no stock, promised to get one for me from another store. Again no response. I had to call back before anything was done. Not really sure why they dont want to service regular customers.

Dont ever buy something online at Hirschs and collect in store, they sent me an email stating that my order was ready for collection and when I got to the store, my order was not ready and they had no idea of it, I had to show the proof of purchase and was treated like I was forging the order l, it took 30min to sort it out and what was supposed to be a collection turned into a stand and wait. I felt like a complete idiot and it would have been easier to go to another store and buy it.

Typical of the Hirsch group stores in a great setting. Easy access from the main road with undercover parking which is great in KzN heat. Large amount of stock and a very helpful staff. Elevator for wheelchairs.

Friendly helpful service everytime Ive visited. Quick and efficient which is wonderful now during covid, greeted at the door by someone who knows exactly where everything is, so no need to wonder around searching.

It is great to have a store that carries almost every conceivable item for the home, right on our doorstep. From appliances to beds, tvs and gadgets. Plenty of personal attention to help understand the products.

All ways offer great service. They used to be traders but now they have become more corporate and prices are fixed. The accountants have obviously taken control of what was an entrepreneur business.

The Sales Lady who assisted us was extremely helpful and showed us exactly what we wanted she allowed us to look without pressuring us and left us to look around first

Fantastic service, I find they always go the extra mile. The sales men / ladies are very knowledgable on the products they sell which helps a great deal when I have purchased my kitchen appliances. I shop between Hillcrest and the Umhlanga branch depending on where I am on the day. Delivery has never been an issue and I love how when I walk into a Hirsch store, I am always made to feel like the only customer, now thats service.
