Terrible service, extreemly slow. No Covid Protocol, except a few signs. Staff where masked, struggled to find sanitizer.

When I first sent my car for service, the car came back dirty and wet. On my 2nd service my sentimental VW key holder was removed and I called about it Anusha never called me back I had to request for her to give me feedback. A key holder might be nothing to someone but to me its priceless and if I loose a key holder whats next?Why remove a keyholder that has been there for almost 3 years?

I usually hate using OEM dealerships for out of warranty repairs, however I was blown away by the service, attention to detail and follow up from the dealership. Special mention to the service tech Vinolin for the great advice and workmanship on my repairs.Good to know that the mccarthy group now values paying customers which is refreshing. Between the Sales Executive and the manager not one of them understand what customer service is. When even further to speak to the dealer principle who wasnt available and left a message for him to call me back. Never received a call either. This garage is a no for me!Thank you for giving me the opportunity to send my complaints but the email bounces back which doesn’t help...

Good experience and good customer service at the parts department. I bought parts to service my VW Jetta which is out of VW Motor plan. I inquired about the cost of an oil change. Pretty unfriendly and unhelpful service advisors. Cost of only an oil change i was informed was R2500. Extremely expensive. I did an oil service for my out of service plan Honda Jazz at Honda Sandton for R899

McCarthy VW Pine Street you do not even deserve one star. Today I got ripped off for a R1100 diagnostic fee when I told you what the problem was. I almost got ripped off for another R9000+ if I agreed to it. I got my ignition problem sorted out for R950. You did nothing to my car. I basically paid you R1100 for a days parking and for your technician to turn the key (like I did) to tell me the same thing I told you. I will be taking this up with the Motor Industry Ombudsman

I am very disappointed at how the guy who was helping me has handled the situation.i went to VW Mccarthy towards the end of last year ( 2017 ).i had a problem with my touch pad of the raio/stereo...the guy (Nhlanhla Nzuke) after it had been Checked out promised that i should get it before the year ends.i went back again after Ive realised that they still had not contacted me this was 3 months later not surprising at all they were still telling me stories that because it was festive season so they couldnt get anything done timeously so i should wait until the festive season is over...i really am up in arms by this treatment and Im disappointed to say the least.hope nobody ever goes through the same.
