Simplex Radio is my first port of call whenever Im looking for anything from car sound to whole high end cinema sets. Tvs, fridges, soundbars and cabling Simplex has it all! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They often have flash sales that cant be beaten even by the bigger chain stores because they rotate old stock often and sell last seasons items at a bargain to make room for new stock. Brands like Samsung, LG, JBL and Sony are on display as well as high end brands like Polk, Marantz, Jamo and Harman Kardon. Simplex Radio was the first retailer I found that sold Polk Audio equipment in Durban after I moved back to Durban from Cape Town where I had first discovered the brand. Polk Audio is in my opinion one of the best audio brands on the market and as a self titled audiophile Im very impressed with the wide variety on offer at Simplex Radio.

Good selection of quality brands for car sound and great prices (best prices I came across for quality amps/ speakers.) They have a good selection of large and small appliances and AV equipment. Really enjoyed my visit and will recommend anyone looking for Electronics or appliances visit them. A++++++

I have been to Simplex when I was a kid and this was almost more than 25 years ago. They were based in Central Durban and all I have was good memories. My most recent visit was not for car audio but for a home theater Amplifier. They have a wide range of home and car audio with decent prices and the sales team does their level best to beat the prices if you find it cheaper elsewhere.

Friendly and informed staff. Huge variety of electronics. Be warned. You WILL spend money in this shop :) and it will always be a pleasurable experience.

Waited for a while... theres only one guy who can advise you apparently, you have to drive to another premises to get his feedback or advise. Waste of time.
