As usual an amazing place , well priced and fresh food .Staff is pleasant , and are always willing to help .The oysters are amazing as well as the freshly prepared calamari ( usually lemon butter sauce is good ) .Simple comfort food

I’m sad to say that the quality at this restaurant has decreased significantly over the past 2 years. They used to have excellent sushi and I’m sure it still is, I’m just not certain of the freshness. Over the last year I’ve had fish cakes that were off 3 times, and hence cannot order them anymore. Last night I thought I’d give them a try again and ordered 3 portions of fish And chips, the fish was ok (personally I didn’t like the batter though) but the chips in all 3 portions were stale. It’s very disappointing, and unfortunately I can’t risk ordering from here again. They really need to up their quality control.

Located at the centre of the market its hard to miss.having said that, its not that busy (a good thing during Covid times). The cuts of salmon, tuna, etc. all look divine but reasonably priced. The oysters are some of the largest Ive ever seen and are extremely fresh!

This Sushi is incredibly over-priced and very average tasting. I live in Cape Town (supposedly one of the most expensive cities in SA) and Sushi there is a third of the price and is way more delicious. Honestly shocked at these prices... such a rip off.

Shared a platter for 2 and it was amazing, the hake was so soft and succulent, all the calamari was cooked to perfection and the prawns where grilled and seasoned so well, after the disaster and tasteless fiasco over at the galley, this was the type of fish we were craving for, please dont drop service or quality and keep it up, this place is a gem

We are so disappointed with the standard of our meal. I cannot believe you would charge R135.00 for dried, tiny little pieces of calamari that is by no means grilled and there is no rice option because you ran out!?!? We should have cancelled our order the first time it came out wrong.

I visit Fish quite often... and the sushi itself is usually fantastic... but always a long wait.... however I always go back.... the last three times I have been back, yesterday being the last of the three times and the last time ever...I waited 1hour and 20 minutes for some sushi........and when it arrived it was shocking... if I was not so hungry after the long wait I definitely would not have taken it. Please up your service and serving time ..... you have a good product but every visit I make to Fish is less impressive that the last!

December 2019First visit to Fish. Service was slow but lady at counter very friendly and food was good.However, Fish should be using real pineapples & not canned product. Esp at the price point for the sushi on sale.Food otherwise good.

FISH used to be our favorite sushi spot. During the festive season we realised the guys making the sushi are not wearing gloves wheen working with the ingrediants. It is absolutely disgusting. I approuced the manager Henry and requested a refund. He had no problem refunding us and apologised wiyh an excuse that it is busy and they will sort it out. We went back to the market last night and as expected the guys were still not wearing those plastic gloves while making the sushi. It is so disgusting. Will never go back and never recommend their sushi. Who knows wjat is under those guys nails and they sweat and stuff. Sis man!!

The atmosphere of the market is absolutely vibrant and addictive. Love the food choices and juice bar. Best biltong and Deli.
