Good food...and good Covid protocols too. Their eggs Benedict is excellent and their coffees are great. Not ideal location with inclement weather but otherwise it is highly recommended

Had a really great experience at Toast today! Our waiter whos name was Talent was extremely good at what he does, made our table laugh and helped enjoy the experience. The food was very well prepared and great presentation. The portions were also great. Perfect spot to enjoy a meal or cup of coffee during your shopping trip out.

Toast is Always my go to coffee shop. They have great prices, great coffee and the most Devine scones. Situated in the lifestyle center parking is convenient and free and the location is central and easy to find.

Food is good but... One day we went for breakfast and the waitress said that we can sit any where we want, sat down at a table and 5 minutes later a different waiter comes and tells us to move because the owners wife usually sits here we told him that our waitress said we can sit anywhere and he started saying stuff like if she doesnt sit here shell be mad or if she can sit here she wont have peace and quite like she always wants. So in short the owners wife is a very rude person and thinks shes very important.

Two years ago we had the most delicious scones at Toast. We couldnt wait to go for scones again. We had a take away scones because there was only one left. What a disappointment. It didnt look appetizing at all. It was way tooooo big. Luckily it didnt taste as bad as it looked. Still not the same as two year back. Maybe because it was the last one.....I dont know. Sorry not to criticize. Have to inform you.

When you have a cup of tea and a cup of coffee and tender R50, you expect some change from that. It seems the waitress had other ideas and was not going to offer the change. Had to insist on the change and as a result will not go back there!

Great spot for a quick cappuccino, the food smelt divine too! We didnt have time to eat but friendly manager (with freaky cool eyes!) 🤣 and efficient staff service with a smile too. 👍🏾👌🏾

Horrible waiter Kholi, she didnt pay attention when we were giving her our order, she kept looking at her previous table who were complaining about hair in their food and the service they received,She got our drinks order incorrect due to that.Food didnt look appetizing when it got to our table. The chips were soaked in oil and didnt come with the aoili sauce and we werent informed about it but instead the waiter decides to tell me its the same as mayo.Manager comes to the table and just made matters worse, clearly both Kholi and Nicky need customer service training.We will never be coming back to Toast, nobody likes being insulted

Had a disappointing breakfast here. Ordered the scrambled eggs with crispy bacon on a croissant, and the bacon was not crispy as advertised. Also ordered the flapjacks with berries, marscapone and honey. The flapjacks were covered in very sweet berry compote with a minimal teaspoon of marscapone, so did not balance the sweetness out. If one is prepared to pay a high price for something, one would at least expect a decent amount served.

Sat and waited 50 minutes for a simple scrambled eggs on toast then get told theyre literally plating it right now with an apology and waited a further 10mins after which we paid for our drinks and left.Not recommended for a quick brekkie on a weekend, really disappointing after all the hype found on social media!

Coffee is great, staff is friendly, and if they’re busy the service is slow and inattentive. An hour after ordering we hadn’t received our breakfast or heard from our server. I can’t comment on the food. It might be good too. I’ll update if we come again.

We ate there twice during our stay in Ballito. Food was very good. I had the avo on toast. Coffee was brilliant! And dessert selection brilliant. Managers are always involved and service is great. Can definitely recommend this place.

The idea was to pop in for a quick bite to eat, but wow!! Food was great, service even better,prices reasonable. So we just ended up chilling and enjoying the food & atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Used to be a fave spot for a quick lunch. Unfortunately ball has dropped and service has deteriorated. Manager used to always greet you, now just stares blankly as you arrive. After waiting 25 mins for our soup, trying to get a waiters attention and managers avoiding eye contact as could clearly see we were frustrated, I got up, went to the kitchen door and finally got a waiters attention. Our order had been forgotten and as we were in a hurry we had to leave. The managers watched us walk out without coming to talk to us. Very disappointing. Won’t be back.

I found Melissa to be having a very good menu and the ingredients used for their really tasty dishes are of high quality. Positively impressed. The service was good, I really enjoy it. Recommended

First time trying this place. Seemed promising but ended up with poor service with regards to food. Waited over 1.5hr for our order and it still wasnt ready. Only when we decided to cancel did the waitress inform us that theyre short staffed on chefs. I was not ready to wait 2hrs for toasted sandwiches.

Great position, friendly staff, best coffee, mouth watering lemon chiffon cake, among others. Try the morrocan butternut salad topped with pomegranate and rocket. Dont miss the burgers, quiche and morrocan chicken dish. End the week with scones and youngberrry jam. U wont be disappointed! 😋
