The atmosphere is awesome and special. It has live music on some days and the kids area is amazing. The pasta and pizza are delicious and special. The cocktails are great.

Hands down the best pizza in Ballito. Cooked correctly, not shy on toppings, seasoned nicely, and a great diverse selection of pizzas to choose from. Best food, good services and ambiance

The food was really great and the atmosphere was brilliant, however the service given was rushed, there was no salt or pepper given to our table of 8, the waitress offered a pizza and then said it wasnt available and lastly half of us didnt take alcohol so we asked if we could swap out the drinks for non alcoholic beverages , she said yes then when a few mates had to leave early and asked for take out boxes she came back saying that the manager said, because the pizza special is in-house and because some of them were taking it out, that they now had to pay for the beverages. It was my first time at Lupa and I was really hyped about it because my mates said it would be good, but I will not be dining at the restaurant again. I did not enjoy the experience. Other than that, the food was amazing, the Gardeniera was splendid.

Wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the waiter was attentive and the atmosphere was sublime. I had chosen the vegan pizza which was absolutely divine, probably the most delicious vegan pizza I’ve ever had.

HAPPY VEGANThe Green Burger at Lupa is simply delicious! It is well constructed and they have really paid attention to cooking the beyond patty to perfection, and many places cant do that.The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is always nice but, its best over weekends when there is a live band it just hits you differently.

The restaurant has a lovely, romantic ambience. Its clean and peaceful. The food is fresh and delicious. Our waitress was a joy to behold, ever so helpful and gracious. Thoroughly enjoyed myself! 10 out of 10!

We had the absolute pleasure of dining here in the past week for my daughters18thbirthday. Our waiter, Sonny, made the evening an absolute pleasure from start to finish! He is such a people person and an asset to the restaurant. I had the vegan burger which was the best I have ever had!!! To end off in celebration it was suggested by Sonny that we try the most divine dessert that gets torched at the table! Utter decadence! I recommend Lupa Ballito with a full 5 stars and suggest that you request Sonny as your waiter in you are in for a few good laughs as well!!!

Love the fireplace and the ambience is great. Only had tea and it was well presented and tasty and very well priced. Has wifi. Will definitely go for a bite next time.

The service we received was beyond our expectation. Hosted a friends baby shower, making reservations was hassle free plus we could bring our own decorations as well. Food superb(you barely wait 10 minutes for it!) , excellent customer service our waiter so effecient dealing with a big group single handedly. Clean environment too. Lupa is always good. But I really enjoyed the experience here. Fantastic service (maybe one too many people asking if everything was ok - the waiter, the manager, then another waiter, then another manager, then waiter again). But the food was great. The service really was good. Very enjoyable atmosphere with the music in the courtyard.

Indoor and outside seating with a chill vibe and friendly staff. The manager checked on us to see if we were comfortable and the waitress was very efficient. The food is always enjoyable and my special requests with attended to to my satisfaction. The restaurant offers lunch specials on a separate menu at R85 - which is a good deal. The only thing I can criticize is the music in the restaurant- which is a bit sad/gloomy. Some upbeat music may add to the chill ambiance of Ballito and then I would give this place 5 stars.

The food at lupa is scrumptious and the value matches its reputation. The staff are well trained and attentive and the decor warm and inviting . Try the vegetarian pasta, it truly is yum.

NO ENTERTAINER ALLOWED IN DECEMBER SCAM ALERT!Visited the restaurant over the weekend as I had been there in November and enjoyed the meals which I used the entertainer for. Their meals are pricey so having the entertainer does help. This time around I was greeted and was taken aback that the restaurant was empty on a Sunday at lunch time. After being seated the waitress promptly took my drinks and food order. After eating I requested for my entertainer code to be put in only to be told by the waitress that they are not using the entertainer in December and the service will continue in January. This is absolutely absurd as the restaurant wants to trick people by being on the entertainer and duping customers in the festive season as everyone is off and want to go out to eat and Ballito is a holiday destination which will mean an influx of people in the area. I would not recommend going to this restaurant purely because they are dishonest and are so ready to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Highly disappointed.EDIT: Firstly, your response is just another big dupe on your behalf and your endless excuses are falling short. I have been in communication with the Entertainer and they have confirmed to me that your contract only ends at the end of December 2020. I have nothing further to discuss with you personally as the Entertainer has assured me that they will be taking this further.

An annual visit to Lupa, Ballito where we meet up with friends. Visited for lunch. Service was extremely slow. Both my red wine choices werent in stock, being Fairview and Beyerskloof. I asked for bread sticks, was told I can only get it at Dinner time. Considering I paid over R1000 for 1 bottle of water, 1 burger, 1 calamari, 2 pizzas, 3 cappuccinos and 2 carafe of red wine, it was an expensive meal which wasnt unforgettable. Wish Restaurants would not serve blackened avo on pizza, it looks unappetizing. Parma pizza at R150 looked good, but somehow lacked taste. Had to ask for the bill twice.

We had lunch at Lupa Ballito today. What a disappointment. The food was really below their normal standard. Calamari was very tough and tasted like old oil. The pork ribs were also tough and tasteless.For desert the crembrule was custard with a cap on it. Really not a good experience

What a waste of an opportunity to spend valentine with my wife. The Waiter was great, the food was rubbish - The Manager (White Guy) ignored every black person in that restaurant as if he was trained to do so - and I must tell you he did that with utmost diligence.Anyway I don’t think they’ll miss us, but if you are black and have any respect for yourself rather go next door where I am a regular and have always been respected - 45 at Eat Street. And just to clarify I have proper knowledge and immersion into the Italian culture just in case this info might be relevant!Terrible!

We were there tonight and lucky for us Lupa had a Friday only special where they served pork belly on with a crusty side on spinach. It was brilliant!! The atmosphere was also brilliant. Service was great. Well deserved 5star rating.

Dine there last night. The manager ignored my family completely even after we had a problem with the bill. Food was average. There was an unopened muscle served in pasta. Served old parmesan. Our waiter was amazing though. Wont be going back.

Lupa Always have a great vibe, the service is ok. But. I am personally desapointed because I always have to ask to be served and always have to beg to have my glass refilled. Management will walk pass again and again without noticing me but greet warmly the next table. The bill is given to me without folder, just a plan sheet....it really disgusting... that hurt because Im a regular.

Beautiful prawns, calamari, Mussels and fillet fish.Waiter, Ozzy was on the ball cleaning and getting meals and drinksManager Ugeshan gave us the great advice to take the fish platter and also the unique dessert, best choices and also for making us feel at home. Great restaurant, awesome food, great staff.

Great attentive service. Delicious meals. We had a mess up paying the bill (cousin Zappered the full bill instead of splitting it). Management sorted the issue out with no fuss. When we left it was raining quite hard. The staff saw my elderly parents to our car with umbrellas. A lovely touch I thought.

The pizza is so amazing. The crust is not too thin and not too thick - perfect actually. They are definitely not shy with their toppings. When ordering a take away, they seat you and bring you a glass of water. They also give you containers of parmasan, Chilli and garlic, which I have never seen any other establishment do. Ive eaten their pastas at other branches as well and was very very satisfied. Love this place.
