Waited to be seated, as the restaurant was very busy.Was attend to by Themba. A pleasant, courteous and efficient young man.My partner and I had the trout bagel, with red onion rings, cucumber slices and sour cream. I had a fresh salad and my partner had sweet potato fries as side dishes.The salad was served with fresh lettuce, julienne carrots, red onion slices and english cucumber.The meals were rounded off with our customary cappuccinos.Great value for our money. The total bill was below R250.00.

As always, food was great! Unfortunately they were battling to keep up with the number of patrons? Im assuming they are having to have fewer staff coming out of stage 4? Well done for the effort none the less, especially the manager!

Food was tasty, service was poor!We arrived at 14h40. We had a long wait for our meal and when it finally arrived, there was a meal short! Another wait for the waitress who then denied knowledge of the order.Manager was nowhere to be seen when I asked to see him. He then appeared and informed us he was at another branch!! There was clearly no supervision. A very disappointing experience. We finally got to leave at 16h10!

Their frozen drinks are the best. Great customer service too.

Literally the worst Mugg&Bean I’ve encountered. Found a cockroach in my hot chocolate and staff was nonchalant about it. I’m still traumatized. Totally do not recommend it

Terrible experience, I was seated for over 20 minutes without being acknowledged by any of the waiters, eventually I manged to order an espresso and then nothing again, no menu, no additional service. Eventually I put left the cash on the table for my drink and walked out☹🤬

We had M&B muffins and they were tasting stale not their usual delicious soft texture. Could not eat them. Would not recommended them toy friends.

Baby cockroaches running on the cake display counters but worst of all was when the Barister stood up on the counter wid hes shoes on to refill the machine and this is the counter they prepare our orders. Needless to say we got up and left immediately.

An old family favourite place to visit. On Saturday took a walk to tge pool. The water was murky and near the steps there was pollution floating. It looked like rice grains and other nasty bits floating. Decided against the swim. Someone spat on the concrete walk path .. horrible. Sadden by this.

Me and a friend decide to take a drive to Balito from The Bluff in Durban South and ended up at the Pic & Pay Centre in Balito. We decided to stop at the Mugg & Bean there and what a treat. The Matra D immediately welcomed us to a table of our choice and followed thru with a cup of coffee ☕. I was impressed with the service they gave us... Very happy... 🙂 👍

Waited for our food for 40 plus minutes. Waiter forgot to bring our coffee, meal came to us incomplete , asked for eggs on our burger and there were none and The fries were cold and werent replaced in a timely fashion . Wouldnt come here again, and wouldnt recommend this mugg and bean at all.

We often visit this Mugg n Bean, and almost every time we are left a little disappointed at the service we receive. When looking for a waiter, there is almost never one on the floor, and if you try to flag one down, they wave you off and tell you theyll get your waiter for you. Ive also tried to order takeaway items from here when Im in a rush, and again find myself waiting for assistance even though I can see a server on the floor standing by the kitchen door. As tasty as the food is, its not enough when your staff dont uphold your level of quality you aim to achieve

Food was as per MnB standards. Service was lacking. We waited for our orders to be taken, we got our food when we asked for it after waiting a while. Same thing happened when we wanted our bill. We could hav eleft and no one would have noticed as the area we sat in was so poorly serviced, that staff was not easy to locate. I ordered a bottomless blood orange drink with no ice, and I did not get a full glass. At other MnBs, my standards drinks order is the same, and I get a full glass. Was very disappointed as the Kyalami Corner MnB is on a completely different level. I hope this review helps change the service level

Havent been to a Mugg & Bean restaurant for years and probably will skip it in future. Service was very bad. Dont order bottomless as the waiters take so long to bring your order that you dont get the opportunity to top up. Still waiting here to pay as I write this. 20 minutes and waiting...Yawn....Waiter training and management need looking into. Never felt welcomed from the start.

Im currently at mug and Bean at ballito I ordered chicken strips.i was almost done with my meal when I notice a dead cochroach on my chicken strip .disgusting ,all the Manager did was say sorry .

Terrible service. Waited a while just to be seated. The waiters seem to be short staffed which is weird for busy holiday time and the restaurant wasnt even full!! I certainly will not be returning to this M&B. Its sad since M&B usually has great service.

The staff here was patient with us and our ice licking trolley. Decided to have breakfast after shopping for essentials for out holiday in Zimbali. It was full but the service was good and efficient.

Mugg & Bean has always been a place of great coffee, wholesome food and comfort. It lends to a somewhat nostalgic vibe, which is both inviting and warm. Friendly and efficient service with warm smiles greet patrons at the door. The menu has been updated to provide for all tastes; vegetarian and vegan diets as well. Happy to report that the Ballito Mugg & Bean keeps the proud tradition of great coffee alive.

I arrived at M&B hungry and thirsty and I am leaving thirsty despite ordering a bottomless drink. I would have had a better experience had I walked into the kitchen and made everything myself. At no point were we not waiting for something and at no point did our waiter check on us. We had permanently empty drinks glasses, and I was honestly afraid to order another less I be stuck waiting for who knows how long. Any other restaurant would be a better choice than this and I regret not rather going to Woolworths Cafe!

As a Ballito local, and having been to The Mugg & Bean a few times, I can say they have unfriendly, uncaring & sloowwwww service. Getting your waiter to bring you anything, including the bill, will test even a saints patients. Most times, when you eventually get your order, it will be wrong. If you order the Bare Burger they wont have the large brown mushrooms in stock that are there to replace the buns... ever!Rather spen your money elsewhere.

Oh my goodness. The manager is completely useless and is incapable of seating guests properly. He is just such a complete chop I have never experienced someone like that in the entire food service history of of life. I would never visit that branch again, not even for a takeaway.

Found METAL SHARDS in my espresso! A whole mouth full! That after we had to change our order as there wasnt any Chai concentrate or something like that. The staff was not very friendly and our waiter kept on speaking in Zulu to other staff members, as we were ordering. Truly the worst ever
