The Waterberry Coffee Shoppe in Ballito is a delightful coffee shop overlooking a little dam and forest 🌳 They make their own homemade Jams, Preserves and candles! It’s definitely a great place to go check out 🙌 Huge kiddies area and sand art section. You can even go for a forest walk after or before your meal.

Well deserved of its fame. Even though we arrived at peak time, our table was quickly arranged and our orders taken. Food was delicious. Lots of curios to take home and outdoor play area for the little ones. Worth noting that they did not have gluten-free waffles available as advertised.

Fantastic, unique exclusive outside seating area; overlooking a quaint little pond, relaxing. Cafe vibes! Decent food; and a nice short walk through the forrest to get rid of the pounds that you just packed on ;-)

After seeing it all over Instagram I had to visit. Suggest getting a seat outside on the balcony if you can for the best view. The food isn’t halaal but there is parking available and a nice forest walk as well as play area for kids. Suggest going for a light snack or just to have a coffee even so you can visit the store inside and the forest walk as well.

An oasis in the heart of Ballito in the nest of trees with some of the most divine coffee, milkshakes, sweet treats, and great food.Little walking trails through the woods.Toilets are a 9/10. The floors were a bit slippery. Private stalls, and very clean.Find some baked goods, incredible cheesecakes, and cakes to soothe your palate.

We ordered a double espresso, but shared a slice of the nougat almond cheesecake. The cheesecake was delicious.Our son tried the 4-layered chocolate cake. It was yummy.Our other son enjoyed his waffle with ice-cream. Our daughter enjoyed her coffee shake. Pity the peppermint crisp tart was sold out. Experience was good.Lots of treats to buy too.

Very nice coffee shop, but expect much more. Inside or outside, you can enjoy the long menu options. Waffles unbelievable tasty. You can even walk in a mini trail walk existing on the outside part of the coffee shop.

Such a beautiful place just down my road! Possibly the best staff out of all the restaurants in Ballito (together with mozambik) I just didnt like the burger patty as much, didnt feel too authentic. Would be great to see a waterberry burger with a woza meats patty😁

Waterberry was wonderful, the food was tasty and the atmosphere was beautiful.I was a little disappointed with the service though as it was slow and it took a while for us to get our menus and for the order to be taken.I would definitely go back and I genuinely hope the service improves.

Great place to have breakfast in Ballito on the weekend. The food is good and the best part is they have a beautiful walkway at the back for you to take a walk after you meal as seen in the pics I’ve added.

It was an awesome experience...food was divine...atmosphere was amazing...and my kids loved it...also took a little walk in the forest which was breathtaking.

Visited the cafe for some coffee and cake of which they had a selection of cheese cakes, carrot cake and brownies which were to die for. Ended up getting some take home honeycombs, honey, humbug sweets and peanut brittle of which everyone enjoyed. Wheelchair accessible and can eat inside the establishment which is similar to enjoying the great forestry scenery outside which is also an option.great for the whole family.

Best cheesecakes ever. You have to try the nougat baked cheesecake. Its devine. Portions are huge and probably enough for 2. The waffles are also excellent. We loved the strawberry waffle - serving definitely enough for 2 persons. The waiters were quick with the orders and well informed.

Stumbled on this little gem and really loved it. It is situated in a natural forest which is a change from the beach but still very beautiful and peaceful. The food here was great - we ate waffles and pancakes and Berry cheesecake and the pesto wrap and all were delicious. The waiters were friendly and nice if a bit slow at times. The atmosphere was casual and breezy and light. There was a lovely little forest walk for after we ate which was a great way to stretch our legs, as well as a pond outside the restaurant.

What a magical rainforest experience with beautiful butterflies and orchids growing on the trees! Top it off with the most wonderful freshly prepared food and exquisite cakes and you might just think you are in heaven! This is really a little gem with a rich history of burning down, and rising from the ashes!

Used to be great many years ago, now it’s overpriced cake, average coffee and typical “used” menus. The grounds are really nice and taking a walk through their mini forest is nice.

Fantastic food. The gourmet shakes take a little longer but are well worth it. This place doesnt just have one cheesecake on the menu, they have a selection of baked and fridge! Theres a lovely little forest walk that you can enjoy after your main meal to help make some space for delicious desserts. We will definitely be back!

Waterberry is simply wonderful. The food is great, my favorites are the Capri (salmon) salad and one cannot go there without trying their cheese cakes (various). Their waffles and bannofy pancakes are also amazing. They also offer a variety of home made jams and risks. The forest walk is short but very pleasant.

If those three words dont twirl your beanie and have you reaching for the car keys, then you are missing out on this hidden gem.Tucked away in the forest area near the beaches of of Ballito, the WaterBerry Coffee Shoppe is a surprise. I noticed on Google Maps that it was walking distance from our holiday accommodation, so we took a stroll to check the place out. I expected a small coffee shop in a local mini-mall, or maybe as part of a house but we were knocked out when we discovered what is hidden amongst the trees. Waterberry is a big, open, modern establishment but is tied nicely to the surrounding forest so even when seated inside (veranda seating is also available) you can experience the natural vibe.The shop also sells various preserves, coffees and other gifts so a browse amongst the displays is worth it.So much for the shop, but the food alone will knock your socks off. We had several visits to Waterberry over the course of our holiday and each time we enjoyed our time there. From full breakfasts, to coffee and cheesecake, the food is excellent and the service is great. I cannot recommend The Waterberry highly enough. If you go to Ballito and dont visit Waterberry, then you have missed out on one lf lifes great experiences.

I had a Pre-Birthday lunch at the Coffee shop with my friends. Was super impressed with the service received. The manager was super friendly and informed me about high tea options which I did not know existed. Not only was the food amazing, table well set up, it was all within a very reasonable price. The Coffee shop is beautiful with an amazing walk through forest, we took very good pictures. Highly recommend

So hubby and I happened upon this cute little Cafe in Ballito last week Saturday. Wow! I was so impressed... This spot far removed from all the hustle and bustle of the busy CBD, nestled in and among natures call, with a deck overlooking a beautiful, serene little pond was just what I needed. From the carpark to the Cafe I was overwhelmingly impressed. Such excellent service! From the moment we walked in the front door, Dee, the wonderful hostess warmly greeted us and seated us, to our cheerful waitress, Nokhukanya, who was a breathe of fresh air in the struggling hospitality industry. Every part of our dining experience was delightful, not too mention our meal - was exceptionally good. I had a scrumptious, freshly baked quiche with a garden salad and hubby had ginger and apple waffles with fresh cream. Its been a long time since weve had the full package of an eat out experience. We will most definitely be back for a few more visits to try the rest of the menu. Thank you Waterberry, you and your staff are doing an excellent job. Keep it up!

Despite coming during peak time when they were extremely busy on a Saturday morning, Waterberry exceeded our expectations from a food and service perspective! The choccochino was so delicious, arrived in record time, along with our breakfast Onassis. We decided to have dessert too, which was scrumptious. Our waitress Gugu was very friendly, informative, and routinely checked on us despite how busy the cafe was. What a delightful breakfast spot (the view and jungle Forest Walk behind the cafe) make me wish I found this place sooner so that I can enjoy it for longer. Amazing experience

Very poor service. Took them 1 hour and 20 minutes to serve 3 cold pacakes and 1 waffle. We had to order the hot chocolate 3 times. 2 tables next to us complained about service as well.

A peaceful place in the middle of a little forest. The sound of water and bird life make it the perfect afternoon spot to unwind. The food is well prepared and tastes amazing. I would recommend the waffle and chocolate milkshake. The jams that are on sale are super tasty.
