This place is a amazing. Over the years Hops has been the most consistent venue to have a few drinks and wind down. Sometimes they are a bit busy for my liking but their service somehow is still good! The view is spectacular - here we are enjoying a coffee in the morning before work while watching the dolphins.

Its a vibey place. Ordered pizza which was a tad disappointing...tomato was cut so thick and seemed like the last bit. Found more olive pips on the pizza than olives with flesh. The table was quite sticky. Great view. Pity about the limited eating spots in the area.

Consistantly excellent, fantastic food, ice cold beer. Very clean and well maintained, and of course spectacular view.

Had the chicken and Prawn curry, it was chicken and Prawn in tinned tomato souce, there was not even a single spice in it. Had to request chopped chilli. I would rather wish they took it off the menu or the chef must go train under an Indian auntie

Great Bar & Restaurant with full ocean views. Extremely busy but staff are exceptional and handle the pressure very well.Go early to get window seating. Have one of the draft beers on tap, you wont be disappointed.

Service was not too bad - stick to pub grub though - thought I would be adventurous and had the pasta - it was pretty awful - pricey for what was on offer but found the same for most of the North Coast

Really great spot in Ballito on the KZN north coast, great views, the ocean, newly renovated, but we had not been in a year, so all looking fresh and newMenu covers breakfast, wraps ,seafood, chicken fully stocked bar and you can have a beer with breakfast.

Have eaten late lunches here a number of times. Their fish and chips never disappoint - in fact - probably the best Ive had in greater Ballito area. Relaxed beach vibe with friendly and efficient staff. Simple but good wine selection. Perfect way to start or end the weekend.

Great food and great views, cant beat the vibe of this place. First time visit and will definitely visit here again. Service delivery was also attentive. Had the jalapeno poppers as a starters and was equally tasty. Chicken schnitzel was soft and crispy with enough chorizo and bacon to cover it. Lovely views of the ocean and enough safe parking available. Vegetarian pizza tasted fresh and flavor was good.

Meh....to elaborate the food wasnt the greatest (had the schnitzel) and it was not well cooked on the outside (stale and over cooked) and the service by the Waitron seemed like she was doing me a favor to serve me....

Very nice and if you leave the sea side its just walking over the street, where you can still view the sea for miles and miles. Clean and waiters on their toes.. And the food terrific

Great curry! Definately will recommend it. The dessert (ice cream with choc sauce) was huge though, might consider halving it and serving it in a bowl...overall experience was lovely and relaxing. This establishment is marvelous; an absolute gem of a restaurant in a fine location. It resulted in one of the finer, and finest dining experiences I have experienced in some time. Due to the above, and the inherent artistic quality of some of the dishes, I highly recommend it to anyone.

Good food & service, somewhat pricey but stunning view/location. Barrels on site, Castle, believe its brew on tap. Good espresso coffee to perk you up and a nice breakfast menu.

Love the decor. Good food. One of the few restaurants in the area with a play area for kids. They also have castle tank beer which is great!

Hobs has been pet friendly since I can remember. Now we are asked to move to the kidz or smoking area! Please put a notice outside to warn your loyal pet loving patrons so no one is embarrassed by your change of heart.

New ownership and remodelled. No ambience, not the same friendly lay back beach bar that it was 3 years ago, prices much higher and menu completely different.

I had a wonderfil meal called the Beach Stack. It was brilliant. The location is to die for. It is worth having any meal there.

Hops is a well kept beach view bar and restaurant. Plenty of monitors for sport. Great food and excellent service. Large kiddies area to leave troublemakers. They have local castle on tap which tastes amazing.

This is by far one of my favorite places good food, good service, amazing view and good tank beer😊
