I called Telkom customer services complaining about data being deleted. I had no reply. It seems you must check your balance before logging onto the net or they will delete it. I find this prejudice and malicious.On one occasion a customer service employee admitted that the data was deleted and promise to reload the unused balance. It never happened.Are all customers treated equally? Or do they have control over their own network.

My name is Lerato and have a 1TB Telkom sim only contract and for some odd reason Telkom stopped debiting my account for the contract and I have had to do a manual payment for August and September and now I just received a statement that does not even show both the manual payments I made, this is terribly absurd. Firstly why have the debit orders stopped and whyare the manual payments not reflecting on my statement. This will have an impact on my credit score unnecessarily. This is unacceptable.

I recently took a phone contract with Telkom and to my surprise my invoice is having a completely different name. I went back to the store to have this rectified and they asked me to call Telkom directly. Did that and the agents also dont know how to fix this, it is ridiculous!!!

Tried changing residential billing details to business details since November last year. Agents dont know how to help, others dont respond to feedback mails, telkom email addresses dont seen responses, its as though no one works there. Calling once a week for almost 5 months and not a single person can assist with simply changing billing details

Probably a gimmick type of service(SCAM). they over charge you quietly on your invoice, suspend your account mid month and then ask for the amount outstanding then only a credit will be done in 30 days.Most likely the dispute does not get resolved and no reason to why it ever gets rejected.Basically you will be screwed for extra charges you will never know about.Im a client/customer with Telkom for 4 years+. Since December 2020 up to date. VERY UNSATISFACTORY. I do not advise that you seal a deal with these guys, read reviews 1st from hello peter or mybroadband if you think this post is fake.

Ive just gotten off a call with one of your agents who was trying to offer me an add on to my current contract.While I understand that hes trying to make a sale and offer me a better deal than topping up my data when I need it, I really dont appreciate that he PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME simply because I declined.This is disgusting behaviour and makes me question who my service provider should be.

Terrible service from Telkom.I have a landline with them that stopped working on Thursday the 6th of April. Reported it on Friday following day but no technicians were sent till I followed up on Wednesday the 12th only to be told that the line could not be fixed and that we needed to upgrade to smart voice. Agreed to to this and went straight to the store to apply for this. Almost a week later my application has not been processed! In the meantime, my clients cannot get a hold of me and am losing business!!!!

Every single interaction with any call centre agent is always a disappointment. They either don’t have the authority to do what they need to do, or one holds on the line for hours. From simple things like the automated system asking to enter your phone number, then as soon as an agent picks up the call they ask for the number again?! To actually getting to speak to a human that can action anything at all. It’s impossible to speak to a supervisor because they simply refuse to hand the phone over and insist that the only way to get an issue resolved is that they will ‘escalate’ it via email and won’t share any supervisor’s contact information. To summarize...walk away. NEVER use any of their services because at some point you will need help and you will be stuck with your finger up your nose.

Buch of THIEVES. Useless. I am trying to call them, but they do not answer the phones. They are deducting (stealing) money from my bank account without my authorization. I now have to pay for the reversals of that money. I do not even have an account or had an account with them ever. I am living abroad and there is no number on there websites, except the numbers that is local to SA. I had to get people in SA to give me numbers that I can call, but to no avail. I think they did not pay their Telkom account either and cut the lines. They do not even have competent people to reply to emails. I now understand how they make their existence, by stealing from people. Please be aware of this organization.

Terrible service. Had no internet for a while everyday they had a different story. I pay for a 4mbps line. 4mbps down and 1mbps up. I get 0.38 mbps speed. Sounds fair right? I ran a speed test to prove it.

Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware and be very wary of dealing with this organisation. Rude, disrespectful and very slow. I entered into a contract for a new I Phone 11, 64g. When i arrived at my office and started to set the phone up, i discovered that the touch screen was not responding and therefore could achieve nothing. I immediately returned to the store within the hour where i was treated with rudeness and contempt. They refused to supply me with another operational Phone claiming that it was not their problem. I then asked that the contract be cancelled and that too was refused. The Managerrefused to come out and speak to me continually saying, just now, just now. Disgusting. In fact i am so disgusted that i will look at other providers for my fibre line at my home / office..

STAY AWAY! I have never dealt with a more useless company. Tried twice to cancel fibre,received ref nrs only to find out Telkom will not release the line. Cannot get help from a store either and to try and phone is one nightmare upon another. Telkom seems to pride themselves in taking peoples money illegally. I would like to express my extreme frustration with Telkom ADSL service. I am an up to date customer of Telkom but since the morning of Friday, 22/01/2021, my internet has been down and when I called Telkom customer care dept, I was told that it was network failure in my area of which it was a lie/untrue because Ive checked with my neighbor who also has Telkom ADSL & his internet is working normal. These consultants that I spoke to relied on the information of incompetent consultant whom Ive initially spoke to. The chap was lazy to investigate the fault and just told me that it was network failure and kept that incorrect information in the system. I was initially given this Reference No. 137ATK220121 and on Saturday when I made follow ups was given this escalation Reference No. 91523 but still to date there seems to be nothing that has been escalated. Yesterday 25/01/2021, they gave me a new reference number (138ATK250121) as they claimed that my problem was fixed.At Telkom, please URGENTLY attend to this mess for I have missed my meetings on Friday because of your incompetence and I cant afford to miss todays meetings.Otherwise I foresee myself cancelling your contract and joining RAIN/MTN for I cannot be with such an UNRELIABLE and INCOMPETENT service provider like you Telkom

I honestly would not even rate them a star. They do not offer a good service. I have issues with a lot of things. Their app is a big problem as well as as no customer service. I’m on a contract I didn’t ask for I wasted R100 on a voucher I can not put into my phone due to the type of contract I’m on. The beginning I haven’t had issues. But the last few months I have been disappointed to say the least. I feel they quick to take your money but very slow when it comes to solving the issues. I feel they should be trained properly with services and selling a contract.

They have illegally (without my consent) extended my contract by a further two years. Ive filed complaints with reference number, just gets ignored. They cut off every online query, ignore callback requests and their social media team completely ignores all of my direct message and posts. Will be referring them to my legal advisors and cancelling all of my contracts with them.

More than 2 months without telephone, fax and internet lines. Having more than 5 lines plus a host of other services and being a Telkom client for more than 50 years, one would think that Telkom would at least put in the smallest amount of effort to resolve or provide alternatives to a problem that is causing massive financial losses to a company in an already extremely difficult financial climate. However Telkom has not even bothered or attempted to make contact with me once regarding the current situation we are in. Extremely disappointed. Word of advice, please check your billing!My billing has been wrong since July. I hapicking up that even if they get their money through debit order they still do not credit your account. They will charge you with R202,07 Admin fee even though they have received their money. I called many times, they cant explain the billing. I request to speak to management, they dont allow you to. I have a bill that is amounts to R3320, 47 even though I have not used the account for 2 months.Telkom is treating their customers as trash once the get the contract. No is the time to challenge them the legal route since they dont take their clients seriously.

Telkom has been stealing my money since 2016. I honestly feel that they dont even deserve half a star, if I could rate zero stars then thats what Id do. They called and offered me a 1GB data for R99 and I agreed. I waited over 3 weeks for the simcard and when it finally got here it wasnt working and come month end they deducted double the amount we agreed upon. I then called them and they sent me settings but the simcard still didnt work and I eventually got irritated and canceled. They sent me cancelation forms that I filled and returned but month after month they still took my money and I kept reversing it. I have called countless times and spoken to managers but nothing helped. I recently went to telkom kimberley and they said that they cant help me and that only head office can help me. They then sent their head office a notification that they should call me me but to this day they havent... Telkom is messed up and honestly those are not the words I want to use

No words in English language can explain how bad service is. I bought a wifi mobile router in Telkom shop Knysna three years ago . Last year in October I upgraded after resending ID Bank details debit order and utility bill and received a welcome letter and debit order get called every month. Every time I try manage the account or get data or see it on the Telkom app I am told its not my contract but a Mr Opperman. I must find him and brim him in and do a change of subscriber. Help line after 54 mails and calls say I have to go to Telkom shop. Visit 9 To Telkom shop Woodlands Zonswa Nqayi says I must bring a declaration that I dont know Mr Opperman and dont give him authority on my account. I do this with a Practicing attorney who signs as a commissioner of oaths Zonswa refuses to accept it She claims to know South African Law and telkom requirement is a Declaration must be hand written by a Policeman and stamped at a Police Station. She refuses to give me Mr Oppermans ID to trace him through SARS. Her assistant tells me to stop the debit order but that dont understand this will flag my credit ref and next Telkom application will be a problem. I have 12 replies ,from Helpdesk stating its a clerical error and will be corrected in 72 hours. One mail gives her email address and asks I go to Telkom Shop Woodlands and ask them to email her when I am there to correct the problem. The Shop Refuses, I have 23 replies from the Help desk stating the problem has been sent to the relevant department. What does that mean, I have five that say the problem as been escalated and will be repaired in 72 hours. This is ongoing since December 2019. i feel its not humanly possible that employees of an origination cannot be so stupid and incompetent . I am convinced one has to have very special training to be so stupid and especially arrogant. Telkom has a tube video on how to cancel a contract but clicking on the arrow on their web site nothing happens. Every time we have load shedding my finer line goes down so I need the mobile connection and when it runs out of the months data I am stuck. I cant order from the app because it shows Mr Oppermans ID and wont reflect on mine . Telkom got as far as saying steps will be taken against their clerk that made the capture error . I think she or he has been promoted at least two levels . Last year my company of which I was MD spent 3.7 million on Telkom . This year I am at a much bigger organisation countrywide and up into Africa and a 10 million a year Budget. At the last board meeting the point came up should we consider Telkom in our selection of Technology. Look at the state owned enterprises like Eskom and SAA and dont say shame 40 000 employees about to loose their jobs. Its self inflicted. If you dont look after your customers Others will. I work all over Africa and South Safrica and had Silver status every year. Now because of the way they treat me on SAA and especially Mango I never fly SAA unless no other choice. Not one customer but on a bridge I built in Liberia we had 60 South Africans to fly there and back and every R&R . I will rather fly via Addia Abbaba in Ethiopia to Cameroon that SAA direct flight even if it takes a day longer. Its even cheaper. SAFAIR I give a 9 out of 10 rating as Kulula and Airling but 0 to Mango and 1 to SA Express and 0.5 to SAA. Mango the biggest bunch of Liars in town. Ignore the one star I gave Telkom. If you dont do it you cant post the text. Its like getting a contact with a senior Manager at Telkom. forget it.I gt a reply from Telkom Sorry Have you tried the Social Media Platform. This just enhances my point that Telkom just dont get it. I dont want an apology . Customers want efficient service . Its as simple as that. Google is a social media platform. Tekom services provider doesnt even deserve a star ratingthe reason why Im feeling this way is as follow:1) if your payment is a day late they suspend your service it not even the 7 they of the next month its wit in twenty four hours.2) it takes them a long time to come and fix a fault report its now already 7 days and 15 calls to telkom and everyday the technician is come out everyday after every call till now no technician did come out. but at the end of the month they want you to pay your bill in full.

This 5 star rating is specifically for Magda in Centurion. I had been struggling with my phone connecting to the network for a while and no one seemed to be able to solve the issue. But then Magda jumped on the case and the amount of effort and investigation she put into resolving my issue was absolutely amazing. She kept in regular contact with me and really showed me how much she cares about her customers. She is a superstar and I am so thankful to have had her help me. We have been having problems with the Telkom Wii for more than 3 months now. We have only been getting half of the WiFi we are paying for, so we are forced to buy extra top-ups as we have work to do. We have also noticed that the connection quality has decreased drastically from the time we bought it.We have been sending emails with screenshots attached to the Telkom complaints department since September with no reply to date.It is absolutely shocking how we are being ripped off and no one even bothers to help us. We have brought this matter to attention 2 months ago and they do not even bother to respond to us.

I cancelled a couple of Business phone lines over a year ago and Telkom continue to Debit my account, I have been constantly trying to get somebody to resolve this and the contact Nthabiseng Mohlaba does not reply to me or get the job done. Telkom now owe me over R16 000 in back payments and my last resort is going to be to take legal action against them! I suggest you DO NOT do business with Telkom at all as there are multiple alternative service providers with great service.

Incompetent staff at your stores loaded incorrect package. Now I cant fix it because the store doesnt deal with complaints and the call center to which you outsourced your customer care just keep closing my cases without responding. Come 1 December you will overcharge me and then suspend my service if I refuse to pay your incorrect invoices. Once my contracts finish I will cancel my subscription. You cut on customer service to offer low priced packages.

No customer service at all. Have a Pending Case since February 2018. To date, I am still having issues about slow or NO LTE speed, while other people (With the same deal), is enjoying between 45 - 55Mbps Download Speed. I have to follow up on a monthly basis & still the issue persist. The last agent read & gave me a summary of the Pending Case. The case is being allocated to the 1 person in the Networking Department, then the next person, then the next person, then the next person....and so it goes on. Staff even says that my issue will be raised with management. Not a call, not a mail, not a solution, nothing!

Hello Telkom, i have upgraded my line to LTE about three weeks ago now and still to this day my LTE has not been activated, i have called everyday twice now for 3 WEEKS and every time i call its a story, the one agent says i must wait 48 hours for the SIM to be activated and another says we must wait 7 working days, its been 3 WEEKS and still no luck with telkom. a few agents have told me that they have escalated the call to the IT Manager and Supervisorbut when we call back the next because it still has not been escalated. in this istuation who do i call because clearly know one knows what the hell is going. @Telkom do you want my business or not ? Beware Telkom is fraudulently withdrawing funds from bank accounts. Telkom has repeatedly taken funds from my bank accout without my approval. I have involved my attorney and bank. The funds are withdrawn on successive days and this happens every month. I was told by telkom that this can take over a year to rectify!!! Pay careful attention to your bank statements and for any fraudulent telkom withdrawals. Extremely poor service from this company. I would stay away from Telkom.

I upgraded my line to 200mbps, upon relocating they decided to cancel my services, and this is not to mention that they have been ripping me off by over charging my account and it taking me 2 months to sort this out. The call centre is a useless and service delivery is completely non-existent. Telkom Management is pathetic, making promises of contacting me, and for more then a week nothing happens. I had a contract with Telkom since Aug 2015, in may 2017 I submitted my request to cancel the contract when it comes to an end. The cancellation request was closed and no one worked on it. I have spent countless hours trying to deal with the manager at The Grove Tumi who is rude and incompetent dealing with complaints and clients. She doesnt give me a chance to speak and interrupts my every sentence. All she says it that they cant help. No further assistance is provided. My account gets billed with amounts that exceed R5000 on a monthly basis placing me in debt cause now the rest of my debit orders cannot go off. Im pissed off to say the least and extremely disappointed that such a large cooperation as Telkom cannot even do a simple cancellation. Now they tell me that Im liable for the premiums since the contract was cancelled. I did my part on submitting my intention to cancelled ahead of time to try and avoid any issues when the contract comes to an end and still no joy. it has been 7 months and NO ONE can help me. is there anyone out there that is willing to assist me in getting this thing sorted out???

The reason this is not a 1 star review is that Telkom has some staff that honestly try to help but cannot due the the general incompetence of this government style organization.In December 2018 I applied at the Centurion Mall branch to upgrade 12 cellphone contacts for my business and each time I enquired was told they were waiting for back office approval.Then in March 2019 Telkom lawyers demanded payment for a different account which I requested to close in March 2018 and stopped paying in August 2018 when it became obvious Telkom was ignoring my requests despite written acknowledgement from various Telkom staff.I forwarded their lawyers all my correspondence with Telkom proving I had closed this account. Their reply was that I must pay for services Telkom continued to provide after account cancellation was requested. See you in court was my answer.Last week in desperation I purchased 12 new cellphones from a cash supplier and applied to port my 4 landlines to another service provider.Today 13 April 2019 I’m contacted by the pleasant staff member who took my cellphone order back in December telling me my application is approved and my disputed account closed with a credit balance.IT’S TOO LATE TELKOM. I cannot express how unhappy i am with the level of service i am currently receiving from Telkom, for a better term, lack of. We have been without a phone line and internet for 3 weeks now, going on 4. I have phone 10210 countless times to no avail, no one seems to be sorting out the issue. I am furious with Telkom and the repair center. They keep blaming each other and not actually fixing the problem. The repair center is convince my phone has been blacklisted and won’t fix it without proof that I didn’t steel my own phone. Telkom says the phone is not blacklisted and the phone is active and won’t give me a letter to state that it’s not to give the repair center proof. So they refuse to fix my phone. Hello. I have recently taken a chinese new year deal online, theo huawei p smart fie R199 and as advertised is supposed to cone with a gift box. Upon receiving my cellphone n sim the guft box was nor delivered with it. I have tried to call the online call centre and after 3 days i got in contact and the agent that finally answerd after half an hour said that she has sent an email and cc a manager and i was told that i will recieve a call within a day. Its been 3 days and no feedback. It is so sad that to make a new sale the call gets answered in 5 mins but the after sales service is putrid and this not acceptable. The agents excuses are i cant help you our lines are always busy or we offline. I wish this problem could be resolved. I wonder how many other people have not recieved their gift packs and if we actually going to recieve them.

Everything with Telkom is a mission, everything is a problem - you must call 10213 then they tell you to go to the Telkom direct shop, to take 2 hours out of your day to stand in a queue, park your car to be told no we can not swop your old business number to your residential number that we have used for 12 years. VOIP is the answer for business - all we wanted to do was keep our old number but Telkom makes it impossible. :-(

I took a Telkom mobile contract in 2013 where i received 5 gigs of data free for 24 months. The contract ended in December 2015. I had no problems with my contract for the 2 years i had it until it became a month to month contract. This is my final request for Telkom to please sort this out before i take this matter further.I went into your store at Gateway Mall at the end of November 2015 and wanted to know my options on my contract prior to it expiring. I was given a few options but decided to keep my existing contract due to some financial changes in my household. The guys at the store advised me that my 5 gigs of free data will fall away as the promotion was for 24 months. They also mentioned that contract would now be R99pm as the device was paid off. This meant that my contract would be a normal smartplan 100. This was fine with me, however this was not the case. I was charged for the 5 gigs of data at the end of January, I have spoken to your call center at least 4 times and being into the store twice. I have been told on all these ocasions that i will be credited, this has not being done. i have now being charged another month.Please assist, failing that i will have to take matters further. Maybe consumer watch might be an option.thanks

Im so livid with Eskom. I wanted to open an internet account two weeks ago when I learned from them that they cant assist as I have an outstanding balance with them which I had no clue of. I later learned from them that I have an account with them. I logged a fraud complaint with them right away and to this day I havent received any feedback. This is happening for the second time. And the first time, the case took two years for Telkom to close. This leads to believe that TELKOM and/or their employees are defrauding consumers by creating fictitious accounts!!!!!!! WHY WOULD IT TAKE 2YEARS FOR TELKOM TO CLOSE A FRAUD CASE. WHY WOULD IT TAKE MORE THAN 7 DAYS FOR TELKOM TO RESPOND TO MY QUERY!!! WHAT IS THIS???? LIVID!!!!!

We just applied for a router and Telkom sim card. It arrived and when we ask how long before it will be active. We found that Natalia Anne Pillay stole the ID of my wife while we were doing this contract. Telkom sells your Id Numbers to Gupta people to capture our DATA not only the country!!!!

Telkom service is simply non existent. Sign up for a contract and try to cancel it at the end of the contract period - you’re in for the most frustrating thing ever! Took 9 months for them to process an end of contract cancellation. Continued charging me despite multiple written, verbal and face to face requests to cancel. Never again will I sign up for a contract with them!

Since November 2018 we requested the DSL facility on our landline to be cancelled but made it VERY clear that we still need the line!On 14 February 2019 our telephone line was suspended . I have been battling ever since. All I get is promises that urgent requests have been submitted to have this problem fixed, but nothing.

Done an online application for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro on pre-order dated, 23 Oct 2018...Telkom debited me on the 25 Oct 2018 , delivered the incorrect colour of the phone on the 2 Nov 2018. The lady Nokukhanya Shange openly admitted she put in the incorrect colour code and here I am. The 26 Nov 2018 with no phone after they collected the incorrect phone colour 2 weeks ago , I have a useless sealed sim card to use in no phone...spoke to literally 18 agents on 10213 and no manager was available every single time...The most disgraceful service Ive ever experienced. I hope some senior management sees this and does something to take action against Nokukhanya Shange of telkom.

7 DAYS and Im Waiting for my phone, or some communication, at least if youve already taken my money from my account. How long Does it ACTUALLY take to deliver a product to someone who lives in Gauteng by a Gauteng-based company. Amazon companies from USA take 7-14 working days. Takealot takes 3-7 working days. TELKOM....uhm, just for them to finally communicate, You first exhaust your airtime calling their useless call centre, Send repetitive emails, give them a bad review on Google, Complain on Hellopeter, and fianally then they call after 7 days. Your delivery will then take whatever amount of time it will be dispatched from your time of complaint. Maybe the problem is people who work there dont really enjoy working there. Worst network provider ever! My phone has been suspended since May 15,2018 and payment has been made on account on May 1,2018.I have called several times to get issue resovled still nothing. I then get a text to say my line has been suspended disconnected due to credit limit being reached which is impossible cause my PHONE IS SUSPENDED. Managers have escalated or so they say promissed reduced bills but yet again payment was taken from account to pay for a service I DO NOT RECEIVE. I am 8 months pregnant and cant make calls or receive them today is June 05,2018 not a call email nothing. On the 20th Of October call was logged for adsl problem at my house. When i spoke to telkom I advise them that i will only be available Mondays to Fridays after 16h00. Telkom advise that tech will call me to setup time to work on adsl issue.On Monday 22 of October my daughter that was at home alone called to advise that a tech from telkom is at my house and need to enter my yard to fix the adsl issue. MY daughter told him that she cant allow him to enter the yard. The Tech started telling her if she does not open the gate our issue will only be resolved after 3 weeks. Tech then called my wife and started threatening her by saying if she does not tell my daughter to open the gate our issue will only be fixed after 3 weeks.My wife told him that my daughter cant allow him into the yards as she is a girl and she is alone at home. My wife also asked him will he allow someone to enter his house if his children are alone at home. He then got angry and told my wife does he look like a criminal and my daughter can keep his car keys and ID. If like keeping his Car keys and ID will allow him access to my house.Firstly no one called me to advise that they are coming to work on my issue and if contact was made I could have made a plan to be at home, and in the world, we leave in how can i allow someone to entre my yard if i am not at home and I don’t even know if the guy is from Telkom.I called Telkom three times to explain the whole event and no one from Telkom is willing to help me. Telkom told me to call the agents that sent the contractors out and complain to them. Telkom can’t even advise me if a tech was sent out and who the tech is.Before the tech came out my telephone line was working and my adsl. Very bad service from this place. feel like i have been robbed. They phoned and offered me a deal on a router which included 100gb data once-off valid for 12 months as part of the deal. Aftrer I agreed and got the device, i get no 100gb and the person in the customer care center now says its not part of the deal. I feel like i have been conned into taking the contract. how do i cancel this because it is not what i signed for. Surely that phone call was recorded when they offered it to me?

I opted for Fiber in October17. Completed and signed documentation for the cancellation for my 8ta, uncapped LTE. This is still not cancelled TELKOM, debits my account monthly for the service which I do not use do not want anymore! The operators @ 081180, are useless. They cancelled my phone service from 1gig, Freeme to pay as you go? Still they deduct money for 8ta service and if I stop it at the bank they threaten me?Really very unhappy!

Spoke to a consultant on 8th, 9th and 10th of February and went to the Telkom shop in Woodland shopping center on the 9th of February and they confirmed my appointment for today the 10th of Febuary. And SURPRISE another missed appointment. I want a senior manager to get in contact with me and explain this pathetic service for such a Big company! WHEN WILL MY LINE BE INSTALLED???????PS. I have been a customer of Telkom since 1989, and at the moment I am totally dissatisfied with the quality of service we are receiving from Telkom.In October I reported a fault on reference number 271CTK27102017.The issue was closed on 18/11/2017, without the fault being repaired.Another fault was logged on 18/11/2017 with reference 220CTK181117.It was again closed on 29/11/2017, without being resolved.A further fault was reported on 29/11/2017, with reference 144/CTK291117, which remained open until 31/12/2017. A technician named Adam contacted me to report that he was changing a card in the exchange. The fault was subsequently closed. There has been no improvement in the service.On 02/01/2018 another fault was logged on reference number 469CTK020118. This fault is currently still open.Various calls to the call centre have had no effect.The faults were escalated a number of times, with nobody taking the time to even contact us.On 08/01/2018 I spoke to Austin, who is apparently a Floor Manager in the Centurion centre.He promised to escalate the fault to the Technical Manager, and would call me back within an hour. That was at 09:49.At the time of writing this review (14:38) I have had no further feedback.Would someone at Telkom get back to us before the end of business today, or should we cancel our ADSL contract with Telkom, and take our business to one of other Service Providers?I think that after struggling for more than 2 months (74 days) since the fault was first reported, it is high time that something gets done about the issue.

I have ordered a wifi router. The agent called so many times till he finally sorted the order out. Then calls yet again to tell me he cant do it cause the price had change. Yet he was the one that didnt process it before the price had changed now he has made it my problem. His manager was no help and didnt even try to help all he did was say he will call back and there was nothing he can do. Its been a week and he still hasnt got back to me. Useless!! Their so called limitless package hardly has any coverage, cancelled the limitless package within 24 hours and they wanted to charge R800 penalty although we cancelled within the 7 day cooling off period. They admitted the mistake and now we are on a bill of R2700 after signing a cancelation contract at the Telkom store (within 24hours of getting the contract)without using the service 2 months later, awaiting the cancelation call and they still have not called.. Weve spent a lot on airtime phoning about twice a week to see if its sorted and drove to Telkom 5 times but they are full of excuses and nothing has been done. STAY AWAY!!!

Horrific experience with them. Do NOT open a contract with them. They dont invoice in the correct name, then it takes going to ICASA to get them to change your invoice and send all invoices for the past 6 months. Cant cancel my data contract after 2 months, completing their required form, emailing and speaking to supervisors to escalate the cancelation as it has not been actioned. They still deduct money from my account and I cant get the data either because my account is suspended for no reason. STAY AWAY.

No one at telkom has contacted me to tell me where my device is. I have tried to call the sales team yesterday and today - the phone just rings for over an hour with no answer from a sales rep. I have got a Data bundle with Telkom for a few years. Above poor reception or no raeception things were going ok. Until 31 March 2016. On the 1st April my data was gone. Thought it to be another off day for Telkom I tried on numerous a casinos to connect. Nothing. On 2 April I locked a Copland and was told n person from technical dept. will compact me within 2 hours to72 hours. Comes A ref. Jr. 1885462 was given to me. Followed up on Tuesday 4 th April. Tech guy very busy and will phone me. Mails gets sent to him in the matter. Comes Thursday I phone again and again He was sent a mail with a drift. A Sam Phoned me later around 16:00 and I told him my card packed up and have to get new card and have it activated. I was told to get a card and he will phone me 10:00 am next day. He never phones. Phone on numerous occasions. No Sam and nou call back. The lady on assist says she will activate new card. Problem, card Ricad and no do. Went an bought a new card. Phone and give ICCID no of card. Asked to spee to Senior. Put through t Sifiso and he promise he will get it done himself. Phones back and tells me that lady that does it will only bee back at 13hoo and will have it done emmediately. Ay 16hoo I phoned and he is not available and not at office but there is a problem. The lady that had to do the sim swop made an error with the ICCID no and now again it is. Technical issue. It can take up to 3 days to fix. I was given a new case no 18841294. So with all ref. And case numbers I still dont have data.So after 13 days without data that I need for my income, I still dont have data for which I have paid and have to pay expensive data from Vodacom to keep going. Are they going to credit my account if and when this data swop has taken place. At other Suppliers it takes 1 to 6 hours to do a simswop. So far 14 days and I thin at least another 2 to 3 days if I m lucky.Telkom has closed down service points in all towns in Limpopo. Only have 1 in Pretoria that I know off. That means it costs me driving 360 km plus R150 toll to sort out a problem if you are lucky.I think it is time for them to go down under finally and saves us a lot of hardships and bullshit in promises.JAJ du Plessis.Boosters 59Nylstroom.0510
