Called in, asked if someone could assist by making a short video of one of the products in the showroom that I was considering purchasing, so that I could see it better as it had inadequate pictures and information online. I explained that I was isolating with COVID-19 and would be unable to come in to their showroom. The lady called me back to say that they couldnt help with this simple request, and then suggested I come in again, right after I had just told her this wouldnt be possible. The lack of helpfulness and inflexibility to the constraints of the times for a simple request like this really irritated me, and I took my business to CTM who was more than willing to assist with it.

I bought three mixers from plumbitonline. Due to a mistake from my contractor I only needed two. I brought the third back to return. It was still in its original packaging unopened and it had only been a couple of days since the purchase. Upon returning it I was informed they charge 15% of the value in order to accept a return. When I queried why the employee was extremely rude promptly informing me that they are legally entitled to do as they wish. You are not alerted to this policy when purchasing nor is stated in the store. So while they are legally entitled to do so (although Ive never had another store do the same) I think its under handed and incredibly poor customer service. I will not be using them again and I hope this review encourages others to do similarly as returns in a building project are common.

I have ordered a pro4000 spotlight through them where Louis, George and rest of staff assisted my, kept me posted where my parcel was until delivery at my house. Not impressed with the service I received. They did not take the time to try and find me a solution or the part I was looking for. Was helped by a competitor down the road in a couple of minutes. They did offer to call the supplier which I appreciate but I am convinced if they took the time to look at the part I required they would have been able assist. Stock on display was also not available and when asked when new stock would be received I was not given a definite answer.
