It’s a fantastic showroom. We were able to physically open and close drawers on dishwashers and get the feel of gas stoves. All of the brands are grouped together. I find that it makes it a bit more difficult to compare appliances across brands but it is a good way to have the store nonetheless. We were greeted with friendly service but as we were just browsing we did not require assistance. However when we did have some questions, a representative was always present to provide great advice.

Hirsch would probably have gotten a 6 star review but since they have so many items that I want over and above what I need, I have to stick with the 5 star. Their customer service is amazing and I would recommend them to anyone looking for household items.

If you have an appliance that need fixing - rather find someone else to do the job - seriously! It took them close to a full month to replace a simple magnetron on our microwave!! They are unfriendly when you phone to follow up - at one point didnt even know where our microwave was! Then when they phoned us today for collection - the woman interrogated my husband about what parts were replaced etc. etc. What does it matter what parts were replaced? It has been done and we fully paid! It took them forever to get it from the back. Our expensive Whirlpool Jet Chef valued at R6000 was then manhandled in a trolley! It had zero scratches when handed in! We have bought many appliances from Hirchs before and trust me we will not ever again support them from a sales or a repair point of view!

Fantastic service. Walked in the store at 9am, got the advice I needed from knowledgeable staff member. By 9.30am I got a call to confirm delivery. The truck arrived at noon, they opened the appliance in front of me, took out the old one, fixed the leaking tap, and installed the new machine. Unbelievably smooth service. With a smile.

Update: went for mattress shopping and was helped by Jacques, and ended up getting what I wanted at the right price as well. Salesman was very helpful.‐-----------------------------------------------------------------------I was there for TV shopping and the sales rep who helped me with a TV I purchased a few months ago was about to knock off but helped me out once again. I will always look for him when I buy a TV.The problem I had was that the store could not put 2 different Tvs next to each other with the same source, so I could do a proper comparison.If another store does this for me , they will obviously get my money.

Good prices and products and good service from staff members. Also online shopping option is great for avoiding in person shopping with options for delivery or pickup from store. Range is wide and stock levels seem to be well maintained giving good choices not only in n brand names but also Ito brand specific products ( eg televisions with options per brand in terms of screen size, display type, smart vs not ... and cheaper to more expensive models are all available.) Online website is well developed, easy to use and seems integrated to stock system.

Poor after sales service. Bought a microwave a few years ago. Broke the glass plate in December. Visited the store in Dec and was told by the manager that the plate would need to be ordered. Gave him my contact details and he said he will call me in Jan. Jan came no call received, again visited the store and spoke to a lady at repairs and returns section. Again was told she will order and took my contact details. Still waiting for them to call

I have been to your store only once and i must say the service was awesome, i usually communicate with William Sekwakwa and he always come through for me, I recently asked him to let me know when there is stock in your store and he made sure he calls me as soon as stock arrived 🙏. Bought Russel Hobbs set(kettle and toaster) under the impression that its 2 Year warranty.Took back the kettle after it has been used for 14 months because the knob is no longer working to my surprise was shown the box that 2 Year warranty is 1 year in store and 1 year with online registration with the brand ☹.Even the sales person didnt tell me that,why 2 year warranty font used is 16 and the other font used is 8? Do not mislead the customers please because if I knew from the beginning I wouldve not bothered by returning the set to the store...I am patiently waiting for your assistance ☹☹☹ since this matter hasnt been resolved yet!

Excellent services with Jacques Auret, just have a issue bought a AEG gas stove Saturday and would like to know how can one remove the sticker from the door and the glue? I have tried everything possible and cant get the sticky glue out?disappointed with switchboard..I have call in 4 times and left a message for Jacques Auret to contact me back. reason for asking a call back is you wait for so long and mostly never get through to the person asked. please could Jacques give me a call.So ironic... when buying and products at your store the services is brilliantI have with not joy tried to speak to Jacques for the last 2 weeks and no luck.. at the stage Im very un-happy with your after services?

Good prices, good value, just not as great service. Bought a fridge, inspected it and found it was opened before and scratched on the side. They gave me another one but I dont enjoy having to police and inspect what I receive from a merchant. They should not have given me the used fridge with the scratches in the first place - what if I didnt see this and took it home and wanted to take it back because I only noticed it later? This should have been noticed by their own staff and not have been presented to a customer in the first place.

They sold us a gas hob, of which the cast iron top fittings were broken. They refused to replace it. They do not honour any warranty agreements. They do not follow up or try to assist. They just want their profit and leave their customers out to dry. Wouldnt recommend.

Really not a good experience. Bought a soda stream one touch here. They didnt have stock so paid and waited for them to receive one from another store. They said it would be the next day and they would call once recieved. 2 days later I was yet to hear anything so called them myself. I was told it had arrived that morning. So I went to go fetch it. On arriving there it took over 40min to received the soda stream as it was yet to be added to stock so couldnt be booked out.But in no way could the numbers just be documented and done....no we had to stand there and wait with no feedback as to how long this process would take 🤦‍♀️.To my sadness once setting it up it didnt seal and spilled water everywhere.I write this review now sitting an hour to return it for a new unit. Which might yet again there is no stock of. It was firstly tested to show it spilled water everywhere which took on average 5min. To receive credit note has taken 50min 😡There is no feedback or communication on what is going on, we just standing here like idiots with over 10 staff members standing around doing nothing in an empty store and no visible manager.This once not my first bad experience but will honestly say is my last.

They offer a good product range, and good after sales service. I did find that at times there were not enough sales people, and when you do find one, its a person from another department who does not have the product knowledge of the item you are interested in (as they work in a different department). Competitive pricing. The Centurion branch is nice and neat, big in size and well managed.

Bought from Hirschs for the first time yesterday, and was so happy to see that when I came in to collect my product that there COVID measures were all handled excellently! Everyone was wearing masks (and properly over nose), there was sanitiser at the front and so on. Well done!I will add though that at the rear where the dispatch area is there were a few people not wearing masks coming and going, which may have been collectors or distributors dropping off products - but it seems none of the Hirschs folks were a problem.Thanks for the excellent service, and the safety measures which some of us appreciate a whole lot more than others.

Highly recommended for large home appliances. I bought a stove here and received good service, and reliable product at a fair price.The layout of the store is a little confusing as the displays are grouped by brand names. Can be a little confusing if one wishes to shop comparatively.That said, I guess most people who shop here might already be brand loyal so maybe it works for them.Some high end appliances are available here, which one doesn’t find at your local supermarket chain.

Very impressive store.. just didnt have the item i wanted

I am dumbfounded by all the positive reviews for this store. Ive been trying since 3 June to repair my Karcher tile cleaner and I still havent received the quote with the banking details to make a payment for repairs. Two months and 3 days and no joy. I followed up seven times and spoke to Mariska, Chantal and Keegan. I also visited the store once and was coldly told by a very bored Chantal that she cannot help me, I have to speak to someone else the next day. Same story when I got Chantal on the phone - speak to someone else. When I convinced her to please be so kind and just send me my invoice, she promised to do so, but still didnt bother. Worst attitude in the world!! Cannot fathom how a shop with such poor service delivery continues to survive.

Feels like dealing at the blackmarket. Asked about a specific microwave and was told several times they dont have stock... After a couple of minutes was told they will just go check in the back and then suddenly they had stock!?I had to drive to the back to collect it where it was first opened and unpacked so I can check for scratches etc. As much as I understand why it needs to be inspected is as much as I hate it... This was supposed to be a gift but now it looks like it was a second hand product that was re-packaged! I am furious about this

Asked for service parts, they said they could get them as they didnt have in stock. Didnt hear anything for a month, phoned the manager who said he would arrange the parts. Guess what...another month gone by. By not helping me with small part, they will never see me in their stores for big ticket items.

Items were bought and paid for a month in advance. Delivery guy was rude and wouldnt wait for us to get to the house. Eventually told us we would have to fetch items from Centurion. Got there to fetch to be told they dont have half the items that we had paid for. When we asked for a refund to our cards they told us that they cant do that. Really!!! Took another hour of arguing to get our money back. Not impressed at all. So unhelpful and disorganized. 😡

They have very good quality items. I got a toaster for Christmas last year, finally opened it after moving house and it is perfect. I recently got one of their bar fridges on discount. Their staff is helpful and friendly. Nicely situated, enough parking available.

I have bought all my appliances from the Centurion Branch . The problem is that their after sales service is very poor . They never have replacement water filters of spares when I have gone in. The attitude is that they don’t have stock vs what will they do to resolve your problem and how often will they keep you informed. I am still waiting almost 2 weeks for an exhaust pipe for a portable air con. They have never called to keep me informed of progress.Krisen

Helpful staff. However, the price of discounted items on the web site are not reflected on the in store items. I had to make them aware that the item was on special after which they had to go check on the web site themselves ...I suspect that if I had not known about the special I may have been overcharged.
