What a disappointment in the quality of food that was purchased yesterday.Total of 7 burger meals was deliveredThe quality of the food that was given is something that needs to be addressed. I called the manager on duty who politely said she will get the owner to give me a call.I even emailed the store with pics of what was served still no response.Cosy Corner sorry but you need to improve on quality.

Wait time to order was long, even though there was not alot of people.Staff seemed a bit inexperienced and worked with very little urgency.Parking still an issue.Food took long to prepare.Food was good on the positive side

Loved the mushroom burger, only problem I have with takeaway is that the mushroom sauce should be put in a separate container so that its not smudged all over the paper and hard to get all that goodness like that. Really enjoyed it though. Was delicious!!!

Cosy Corner has a special place in my heart. Back in the day when I was a teenager, my late cousin, Shaun, took my sister and I to Cosy Corner for lunch. He received his first pay-check and he wanted to treat us to the best burger in town, which was Wynbergs Cosy Corner!!! We polished those Beefy Burgers off with a thick and delicious Strawberry Milkshake 😋. I sure miss those days. The cherry on the cake was that Shaun surprised us with a gift from CNA, our first diaries with stunning Wildlife Photographs 🐱😎🐰. The diary sealed my love for writing and expressing my thoughts which I still enjoy doing, up to this very day😏❤️. Ive also enjoyed their Vienna and Chips Combo, very tantalising and pleasing to the taste-buds. Yesterday my mom and I enjoyed a side-order of samosas and half-moons. The samosas were crisy on the outside and delicious on the inside😋. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about the half-moons. We finished our meal with a delicious Chocolate Mousse💋

I must be one of the lucky ones to be celebrating my 67th birthday inLockdown because being on the 5th of May and Lockdown level 5 has been moved down to level 4 which saw many restaurants opening their doors for takeout and deliveries. So having celebrated most of my birthdays in the past with a dinner at a restaurant we as a family decided to do something different this year in that we will organize a Virtual B-day dinner for the whole family to have dinner together although been separated by distance we will use the Zoom Meeting App to connect with our children who are in Europe. For this occasion we decided to get our meals here in Cape Town from Cosy Corner, Wynberg. We ordered the Cosy Corner Classics Mix-Grill, which consisted of steak, lamb-chops, dhania-sausage, fried-eggs, Chips, toast and a green-salad. Also a 300g Rib-eye steak and chips. We were impressed by the on-time delivery and the food was still hot. It all came in a rather large’ish box that was filled. We found that the entire meals ordered were fresh and well prepared and very delicious. We will recommend that this place can always be used to purchase good quality clean well prepared food. The meals definitely contributed to the enjoyment of our special family birthday dinner.

I was always an Aneesas parcel fan, until 2 years ago.Their chips was not oily. Nice and crispyHowever on 13 Aug 202q, i had the worst parcel of vienas and chips ever.I went back to cosy corner today and complained and asked them if they had changed their viena supplier.When i opened the box i could smell it didnt smell right. To add to it , the chips were drenched in oil.I was told that they changed the way they prepared the viennas. Instead of frying the viennas, they now boiled it.I can never underatand why, if something is almost perfect, why the owner of the establishment will want to go and change things.Bring back your fried viennas in your parcels. Dont boil it please

The first time I ate a steak Gatsby at Cosy Corner I was Blown away! The flavours, portion size as well as freshness and friendly service was worth every cent. But my reason for not putting that 5 star is because I purchased the same Gatsby yesterday and was disappointed because something in the flavour had changed almost like a cheaper variety of sauce was used and less masala was used or something which is what let me down. Im two minded about the next time I visit Cosy Corner for the Gatsby or anything else for that matter.

We enjoyed a very large and tasty steak Gatsby here. Recommended by the host and many locals. There were so many other options but after ordering two large Gatsbies, chicken and steak we were too full to try anything else. I also had their loaded chips and it was awesome. (fries covered in melted cheese and chilli.

When you are expected to pay the price for a mouth watering chagrilled rump steak gatsby, you would expect quality. Well sadly this aint the case with my experience. The lack of sauce & the stiffness of the rump just ruined our once upon a time awesome experience. Looks like covid didnt only take lives but quality from some restaurants as well.

Ordered gatsby twice in one week via Uber Eats and on both occasions the gatsbys was delicious. Fresh ingredients and value for money, keep it up. If you in the Southern Suburbs pop in at Cosy Corner for a gatsby!

Literally have been trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt.. disappointed EVERYTIME. The chips are ALWAYS raw and not cooked and the food is always cold, literally EVERY TIME. I will not go back.

I placed an order, 10 minutes later thinking my order was being prepared one of the staff members came and told me that they did not have the steak mince that I ordered. I enquired why did it take them so long to realise this, I got no response. My wife and I waited and waited, 10 orders placed after ours received their food, we eventually received ours with no apology or a thank you for being patient. Cosy Corner is an institution and all my Capetonian friends rave about it but as a Joburger I did not feel the love and was disappointed with the service I received from your staff.The food was good though.

We always go there... each time we greeted and treated with the utmost respect and courtesy.... Very busy all the time. I had the Chargrilled steak Gatsby, chargrilled sausage roll and chilli cheese samoosas... Absolute must haves... Really is very tasty. But then again everything on the menu is tasty..... If u in a rush pre order otherwise its really a nice, clean, and very trendy spot to chill and have a meal.

Cosy corner cheese cake slices total rip off. Worse cheese cake ever for R55 a small slice with artificial taste. Limnos bakerys is R49 a decent slice and way way better quality.

I had a cuppachino and it was terrible. The shot was run too long so the cofeee came out bitter and the milk was not steamed long enough so it was cold and not sweet enough. Art was non existent,honestly expected much better, a fifteen year old could do a bettrt job

What a bad experience I had... I placed a phone order and then was told to collect in 30mins which I then got there after 30mins... I then got there and waited another 30 mins so now my expectation is high and guess what what a sad Gatsby..disgusting...

Bought a chargrilled gatsby and a large viennas and chips... The gatsby was great, as usual, however the parcel was terrible. Ive had your parcel many times before, but I think you changed the viennas, it was terrible.. Didnt eat it.. 👀👀
