When purchasing goods the staff was unhelpful. They refused to check their onsite store for sizing requested. Then when returning a product that had the incorrect size, they apparently had no cash instore. At 13.15, in the waterfront. I told the manager that my wife had come from Tokai to return the product and was told I shouldve gone to Blue Route. Very rude and unhelpful staff, will never shop here again.

Helpful staff and not expensive as you would expect

I had one of the worst experiences at Totalsports VA Waterfront. Firstly, the floor attendant who is a young male was not at all helpful when asking for assistance. I sent my adolescent brother to go and ask for the size of an item and was simply told you can see the size on there - poor service!Secondly the cashier who assisted me with payment has absolutely no idea of how your system works. I asked to pay half of my of my items via card/ cash, and the difference on my account and she happily continued - only to find that what she was attempting wasnt possible. Basically all she needed to say was, take everything on your account and then pay your account after, but instead she wasnt knowledgeable. This resulted in a simple shopping experience taking more than 30 mins in store for something that generally takes 20mins.While being assisted by the staff, they have me the impression that this fault was all because of me. Their impression was that this was the customers fault. I left the store in an absolutely disatisfied experience and Im disgusted. The point of leaving the store is to feel satisfied but thats truly not what I received... Although I didnt get the names of the team working at the time, I suggest you up skill your staff on essential customer service, because this was completely disgusting.

Great customer service

Decent selections of clothing but shoved into a very small space. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Rather go to the one in Cavendish or Canal Walk as they have a much better layout, friendlier staff and more sizes in stock.

To qualify for a R20 black Friday special, they needed my id, full names, dob, and took about an hour to process the transaction, all while a huge line was waiting behind me. Pathetic.

Probably one of the worst customer services Ive ever experienced. I am perplexed at how any business can be run with such incompetent, rude staff. This is not just at the Canal Walk branch but at the Waterfront too. Learn how to treat your customers and run a business please. You wont be receiving any more of my money. I;m sure that anyone reading this can resonate with me on some level or another. And to anyone who hasnt been to either of these stores yet, I would urge you to reconsider spending your hard earned money elsewhere. Youll thank me later.
