Staff is nothing but a group of kids huddled in the corner. Took ages to find help and once it was found, was met with nothing but disinterest. This is a common complaint (read below) - youd think management would do something about it.

Sportsmans warehouse (or at least this branch) has no business callings itself a warehouse. Other than catering for entry level school sports equipment, and clothing (more fashion oriented than sport), there isnt much. It will be a struggle to find proper sport equipment. I was looking for a swimming wetsuit (none) and a rowing machine (choice of one). Easier to shop online

SW in Tygervalley had had the items i needed in store due to the demand and we called Sea Point to confirm stock which was kept one side for me by Stephen. Rocked up there and hour later and was given the items with great courtesy and knowledge of the product with a few tips included. Walked around a neat store and was eventually assisted at the Cashiers desk by Whitney Jacobs who was very friendly and courteous as well. Very happy about my first experience at this store. i wouldnt think twice to visit again.

When we arrived, we were welcomed with by a lovely lady at the entrance who sanitized us. We went for 2 specific items and were assisted by a very friendly assistant. The down side was that they didnt accept cash for some reason which I dont know why.Otherwise a good experience

The Sportsmans warehouse in the Checkers Centre in Sea point is a great place to quickly get your sporting needs. They have a swimming section and an athletic section. They also sell mattresses for camping and a bunch of great gadgets. The staff are friendly but some of them are unaware about the products that are sold.

We bought a dart board cabinet from Sportsmans at the Point Mall in Sea Point. Brought it home and the chalk boards werent attached inside and there was a huge crack in the wood where the hinge was drilled in. When we took it back, at our own expense and annoyance, there was no apology for having placed such a shoddy broken item on the shelves and the inconvenience of having to bring it back. Merely an, ok and then we can exchange it. This level of complacency and mediocrity is disgraceful... proper quality checks should be carried out so that unsuspecting customers dont bear the burden of incompetent management and unapologetic staff. Very disappointed at Sportsmans for this poor effort and client service from such a well known brand. Really not acceptable.

Great goods at a decent enough price

The ecommerce website is has almost no products in stock and countless items are listed sold out(the entire weight training listing is SOLD OUT). It is redundant and the time wasted looking for anything in stock has turned me off trying to shop at Sportsmans Warehouse.

I phoned them just now and I am VERY dissatisfied with their service. They took more than 3 minutes to get back to me when I phoned just now to ask them if they had Tottenham Hotspur jerseys and that wastes my time as well as my airtime. If anyone gets this message please be as quick as possible with customer service when I phone or go into this shop in the future. I DONT mean to be rude but I will not tolerate slow customer service. Please take note of this

I got exactly what I was looking for this place should be called the all sports equipment heaven like theyve got all the gear youd possibility seek, straight up 5 stars in book.

Disinterested staff. Probably have what you’re looking for. Good luck finding it or getting anyone to help you find it.

I went to buy a pair of running shoes and I was assisted by Nwabisa and she was very professional and patient. She explained the process of testing for the correct shoe and took me through everything.The store was short staffed but at no point did I feel neglected.I havent had that level of service in a while, shes excellent

The worst customer service. They dont know their own stock. They dont know prices. The wait is bizarre and with plenty of staff around. The prices are a dead rip off. They used to be a decent shop. Now - Im only shopping for sports goods online and with a different company

I went in for a very specific strap for my elbow, sales staff hunted for my size for 5 minutes and came back with the strap! Very helpful and knowledgeable - the store is well stocked and has a wide range of clothing as well general sporting equipment. Not the biggest of stores when compared to the one in Tokai but still worthy of 5stars 💥👍

Went to this store yesterday wearing a bandanna as my face mask.I was told by the security to go next door to dischem to buy a paper mask. When I asked to see the manager he said that I could not come into the store unless I had a mask like him?My bandanna was double folded covering my nose and mouth and his mask was a single layer of viscose?Maybe Sportmans hasnt heard of google but there are many variations of face masks.Funny thing is I had just been into Dischem wearing my bandanna.I will never support Sportsmans warehouse ever again.

Honestly the most disgusting service I have ever experienced in my entire life! 0 stars if I could give it. No response when you call them, staff walk away from you without explanation and I paid for a service that was not completed. Their location is perfect, so I sincerely hope they can improve upon all this 😔

I had really good service here in the swimming department unlike in any other branch I have been to in the last month. The assistant patiently helped me fit many different pairs of goggles to find the perfect fit, which I did. V is great!!!

Everything you need for sport under one roof.

Well stocked but staff not well versed with product knowledge. Found a pair of running shoes with different sizes in the same box which is disturbing as somebody is out there possibly running with an odd pair.

Bought a video camera here, service was great an knowledgeable staff.

Pretty much your one stop shop for any sporting goods. Massive range of products from running shoes, rugby balls and wetsuits to camping gear, not a very specialised shop though. Good stop to kit out the family for an outdoor adventure.

I was interested in their electric scooters. The sales man quoted me a price of R2000 then afterwards I get told, sorry but it is R4000 and the demo unit is the only one on sale. I had to wait for some time only to leave feeling mislead and disappointed. I guess I will have to schlep over to Makro instead.

Very unhappy after my sunglasses went missing in the store, whilst trying on shoes. I have a suspision it was a staff member that tool them. I also got asked to leave the managers office and was not allowed to see camera footage to try and recover my sunglasses.
