Faulty tracker installed in my Polo. Cannot lock car otherwise alarm goes off. Polo being one of the most hijacked car in SA, i have to leave the car unlocked at all times. Pathetic service. Nearly impossible to get hold of someone.being told the issue can only be fixed next week. No ways i am leave my car unlocked for a whole week.

Wouldnt recommend them id look for some better companies if looking to install a tracker firstly their technician took 3 hours to show up had to cancel my whole days calendar, after he was done with installation i never received log in details the tech told me office will contact me or send and still nothing i had to go through details recovery ... and my computer box has been messed cause since their tech did his ting now my heater works even when its not switched on ....and if u email support with a problem they never get back to you a whole day goes by you have to call them ,their agents miss inform and only push to close the deal they do not look out for customers ...online chat keeps loading doesnt work ,its as if the company been up only a month very disappointing

The worst experience with an service providerI got their device installed on a bike which was for business. The device was tempared with by the driver and they could not detect this, they never called me to inform me that they cant track the bike anymore. I figured that out 2 days later when I went on the app to check and I had to be the ones to inform them that something is wrong with the device. No one can explain to me why they failed to detect the temparing, which means they dont even pay attention in their control room, and now no one wants to cancel the service. Incompetence is an understatement for these guys. Would not recommend them at all

Awesome service by Dawid who tracked my hijacked vehicle to a squatter camp and offered to wait there in order for me to get a battery and my spare key and return. Told him Id be back in 20min but could only return an hour later. He said it wasnt a problem! The lady on phone from the contact centre was not so accommodating though. Told me twice that the guys could not wait at the car if they received another call out. But Dawid, AWESOME GUY, said it was no problem and wouldnt leave until he knew we got the car out and were safe. Extremely Chaffed!!!!!!!!!!!

So I phoned them to change the bank from where my debit order is taken from FNB to ABSA at beginning September 2020 and spoke to Sheila.Come end September when the debit order is due, it still goes of FNB, but suddenly there is another Car track debit order going off my ABSA account.I then phoned and spoke to another person (Name starts with a K) at the end of September who informed me that she saw the request for the change but it was not actioned and that she would fix it.Come October when my debit is due, I only have an amount going of my ABSA account but for almost thrice the value of what it should be. This time I spoke to Thulisile and told me that she would investigate, of which took almost two weeks while every day I get a call from other car track staff phoning for an outstanding balance on my account. Yes I reversed all those debit orders which I did not agree to.Eventually I get feedback that MY ACCOUNT NUMBER was allocated to someone else’s profile FFS.I told Thulisile that they can double debit me for the outstanding amount for OCT.Come November everything is sorted correct debit (but no double debit) – correct account but on the last day of the month I get an SMS that states β€œas per agreement I would pay the outstanding balance by NOV 30th”.Anyway I did the EFT the Sunday 29th. I get a call 1 Dec again for β€œoutstanding balance” of which I told them that I have made payment and email proof the same day to Carmen Samuels. The next day same story the β€œoutstanding balance call”. I emailed Carmen to enquire if payment was received and she said that she would forward to relevant people to update my account. So come Thursday of the same week I get a call, but saying that they have received my payment and will allocate to my account. Friday I get a call asking for guess what? Outstanding balance!!!!!!!!!!Does your account people not communicate with each other? If this is the way a simple debit order update is handled what is going to happen if my car gets stolen and you need to find it???????

I had a tracker installed on the 3rd of December 2019. After the installation, I called in to test the tracker and I was informed that it was unable to give an exact location, which to me, it was practically useless to have a tracker in my car which cant even pick up my cars exact whereabouts. I was informed that someone would be sent out for repairs. Till today, I am waiting for this supposed person to contact me to fix it, and yet Im still being charged for a service thats not even working. Im told to pay a cancelation fee for a service that never even functioned properly.

Good day.I am having the most unpleasant experience with CARTRACK where my hard earned R200 is being deducted from my account towards a tracker that only worked for 3 days. 2 months ago, I had a tracking device installed on my vehicle, I chose the R200 package. 4 days later I could not locate my car on the application from both my phone and laptop. I called in and they confirmed the device was faulty and I was β€œadvised that a follow up email has been sent to branch to contact you”. Apparently β€œbranch” never calls anyone. I emailed more than 10 times and called countless times and always got the same response, to the effect that a technician will be booked in for an appointment. I took a day off from work and drove to their offices is Cape Town. Luckily there was an available technician who attended to my problem, 2 hours later the car was good, or so he said. I checked the App, the car hadn’t moved from the position of 8 weeks ago. The technician advised me it will take some time before it updates the location. The next day I called in and again they confirmed β€œapplication failure” and a consultant would get in touch to book and appointment. No one has ever called and meanwhile I paid again my monthly instalment.I can almost predict the response I will get for this message. . . . . . . . . . . a consultant will contact you to assist.

How pathetic is this company?! I was referred to them by Momentum. Each time I am put through to the person apparently dealing with momentum clients, the call cuts out. Various promises for this person to phone me back was empty. I am most definitely taking this up with Momentum as this type of service (or rather lack thereof) definitely does not align with the service level offered by Momentum. If it is such a struggle to just get a quote, what will happen when they have to actually recover a vehicle?!

Shocking service! They couldnt catch a cold let alone a stolen vehicle. My insurance insist on Cartrack Fleet Management whereas the car is fitted with Cartrack Quick. Every attempt to change this leads to more frustration. Have called and emailed numerous times. On the last attempt I was transferred to 7 different people and none could assist me. In the meantime Im paying insurance but not covered for theft and hijacking. What a pathetic excuse for a service provider.

Since last year they lied to me they put device on my car they gave me username and password to login but never work and I was not be able to track my car. To quote a previous reviewer, you dont even deserve the one star, pity there isnt a minus 10 star. Trying to cancel a contract at cartrack is like climbing up to the moon. You are pushed from pillar to post and halfway through the phone is put down. I really would not recommend cartrack, in fact I would discourage anyone. Their reviews speak for themself. I wish I had read them before I signed up.

I own an events company with both offices in JHB and CT. After a suggestion to join Cartrack we requested forms. These took about two weeks and then another week and a half to process through cartrack. We then tried to get the company to fit the three vehicles and after many calls they sent a consultant to fit the CT vehicle only to find out it was the JHB vehicle which has a GP number plate. They never returned event though the consultant promised to come back and fit the tracker. After many calls to head office and CT we realised that if their service is this poor at the start the service on-going will be a disaster of note. I therefore have cancelled the application and will search elsewhere.

I was looking for my Cartrack certificate and I found out that my details were not updated on the system. She updated my details but they did not reflect immediately on the system, she promised to call me back the following day. I was so surprised when she called me first thing in the morning to inform me that my certificate has been emailed to me and it is updated.It is very rare that you get a call back from call center agents even when they promised to call back.
