After Spending thousands of rands with Trellidor Lansdowne I requested a Trellidor to be fitted behind my garage door ,which they did.At the time of the installation,I was told this is not a norm/standard installation , as this is the first time theyre doing this.At the time of installation, the Rep suggested that the top rail can be supported by an alumminun beam to keep the track sturdy.My only concern at the time, was that I would be unable to pull in a Caravan / High raised Vehicle into my garage. I owned a Hilux bakkie with canopy and could pass through there, so this was not an issue at that moment.In response to my concern, the gentlmen casually said that I should not worry as I dont own a high raised vehicle or caravan and he also said that when the time arises they will work out something to make a plan.On Monday ( 2021-03-15) I gave Trellidor Lansdowne a call to make a plan as promised upon installation, to now solve this problem , as I want to pull in a caravan.We discussed what can be done and we had plan to overcome this(as per Jacques M - the Rep )After Jacques suggested what he plans on doing.I got a phone call today ( 2021 03- 17 ) whereby I was informed, that he is unable to assist in this matter , in other words , THEY DONT WANT TO DO IT , eventhough it is a Trellidor, which, they installded! Yet, another broken promise!They used the excuse that this is not the standard , but they already broke their standard by fitting a Trellidor behind my garage door in the first place. Now that it suits, them, they are using this as a reasonable excuse.I was prepared to pay for the job and did not expect it to be done for free.Would not recommend going to this branch.
Great service from Trellidor. They sent out consultant on a Monday as I had to secure my place urgently. They went way above customer duty the same week Friday my my place was secured. 🌟
