Its a beautiful setup, great for a family outing, kids area could be under a bit more shade but it was a beautiful experience, great food and excellent service.

We celebrated a family members 40th birthday at Tables and we had such a lovely afternoon. Shani, who I was in contact with regarding all the arrangements, was a pleasure to communicate with. She was professional and prompt. The restaurant was also very accommodating wrt decor which made the day extra special. The mezze platters, which was a highlight for me, were so yummy!!!

It feels like a hidden little spot. During an early morning in the week, this is a great place to relax and enjoy an amazing breakfast. Affordable pricing, delicious cocktails and cappacino and a very interesting cheese platter will definitely put me in a great mood.

The place is very nice. Loved the half shade and half sun under the bamboo as well as being able to bring the kids and dogs for a fun day out too. We had a bridal gathering there which was nice. Perhaps a heads up before the kitchen or bar was to close would of been nice. A hour before the time or something. Its definitely a place I would go back to.

Bheko, our host was most observant, and looked after our every need. Children got Easter Eggs, and even some envious adults.. Lol. Food and drinks were scrumptious... Especially the Coffee Shake

This is a lovely, kid-friendly and dog-friendly spot; and on a nice summers’ day, you can order in the restaurant and sit outside in their gardens while the kids play on the jungle gyms, or you can even bring your mountain bike and go for a mountain bike ride. Lovely, warm, and hearty food can be found here, and definitely worth a visit.

Our waitress helped us to our table but while waiting to place our order for drinks we were really cold and asked another waiter if we could move indoors. Jeez wrong move, our waitress was aggressively territorial and we were a little afraid of her. We ended up having a starter and leaving as she made us very uncomfortable.

Great venue, good food and lovely lawn etc for dogs / kids. Service was a tad slow and looked a little like someone forgot the broom at home...

Please dont waste your time and money coming to this restaurant. Their service is as average as their food. Great place to bring kids only when the weather is good, as theres just an outside play area. Please do not buy wine from the restaurant either as they are more expensive than their wine tasting area, which makes absolutely no sense. I had made a specific reservation in advance and they gave me and my family the worst seating, to the point where we were playing musical chairs. The fireplace was barely looked after, nothing cozy about this place, as stipulated on the big board along the road. Wont be returning!

Had a lovely Father’s Day lunch, my dad loves the place because of the open air. Beautiful setting, kind staff, interesting menu.Unfortunately I and my dad got sick after eating there (stomach bug) it was the only food I ate that day but I am sensitive -hints me still giving 4 stars.Although tasty I think the oil that the chips were cooked in my have been a bit strange. Cannot be certain, so I would still recommend.

Been here for brunch once before, which was lovely, but our experience for lunch was terrible.Apart from having to call for a waiter after being there more than 30min, the menu is nothing to be desired. There are basically only 2 options for vegetarians or vegans.Ended up having the stroganoff, which came with a pesto linguine… besides not seeing the relation between these 2 very different dishes, plated together, the food lacked any form of seasoning.The mushroom stroganoff barely had any mushrooms in. That said, we ended up having to return the food as it was tasteless and pretty much disappointing. Ended up having to order a side of chips in order to fill myself. Not the most ideal lunch.The outside area is great for dogs and kids, but the menu could use a facelift, especially catering a little more to pescatarians, vegans, and vegetarians.

Good location, well presented and reasonable food. Small changes will make a huge difference, i.e. a dressing with side salad, less soggy chips. When you ask for no fries, but a salad with your fish and chips, you do not expect the same standard meal minus the chips. A larger salad portion perhaps? We had a farewell for a colleague there - a breakfast. Everyone had a good time. My Eggs Benedict was done quite nicely, but the portion is slightly small. Good selection offered and nice venue.

Not a lot of options for vegetarians. I had the vegan Pad Thai and it was overpriced and underwhelming. They didnt even have a meat free cheese board. I just dont understand why restaurants dont cater for vegetarians. No vegetarian pizza on their menu, no veggie burger. Really bad options if you dont eat meat. Nice wine and service. But I wasnt impressed with the food at all.

Tables is open on public holidays. Celebrated my moms bday.. No reservation needed. Tables cater for groups and is child friendly. It was very social old and young playing on the lawns and enjoying the weather. They allow corkage so I bought wine from Nitida. The waiter was was friendly and attentive.. We were quite demanding. I had a burger it was all right.. Im not a burger person... . Everyone else enjoyed theirs. Will definitely order pulled pork next time around. Will definitely be back.

Had an awesome lazy Sunday breakfast. I really appreciated the extra effort that was made to accommodate my toddlers request for a bowl of fruit. This was done with a smile. Our food was good, the waiters friendly and Covid regulations observed. Will definitely visit again.

The food at Tables at Nitida is very well presented and the portions very generous. Sadly there are little to no low-carb options and even when requesting a bun-less burger mine came with a bun.The food was okay, nothing exceptional but the team were accommodating in making a sauce on the side and veggie portion for one of us. I wish more restaurants would realise that a li-carb lifestyle for many of us is not a fad but a lifestyle dictated by autoimmune disease.The views are awesome all year round, but the fireplace is truly delicious in winter.

Went to Tables at Nitida to catch up with a close friend. We had excellent and friendly service by Gift and the food was scrumptious. Great value for money and lovely setting.

Lovely venue. We felt on a whole it was really overpriced. The portions were small.I mean R110.00 for a small vetkoek and some side crisps is crazy.Pasta of the Day was fresh and tasty.All the other food was tasty and fresh, the microgreens were a real treat to find. Especially on the fish which was perfectly cooked.Staff were friendly. Manager was accommodating and very kind.We will come around again. But sadly not our go to spot.

Honestly the most disappointing meal I have had in a very long time.People don’t go to this restaurant hungry!The food was a disgrace and completely over priced.There were 6 of us at the table and we all chose to eat something different-The bacon ceaser salad while is on the menu as a light meal was no bigger than a side salad, while very tasty the size was honestly a disgrace. R115-Coronation chicken sandwich, the bread was so small that they could not blame them for only putting on 1/3 of a chicken breast- its all they could manage. R115Imrans delight- decent size portion, majority of the dish being a caponata which was so sweet it could have been served as a dessert. R98Mezze veg platter- so this meal took the cake, disgusting does not even begin to describe it. As the gent having it said, “it is like they trying to teach the vegetarians a lesson!”, seriously I can’t even describe how disgusting and tasteless it was. R115Fish and chips- 1 x small piece of fried hake with oily chips - R135.It will be without doubt the last time I waste my money at this venue.People if you know what good for you, drive on to the next wine farm.

I have been to Tables many times. This place has a relaxed casual atmosphere which is usually is my main reason for visiting. The menu options are simple with just enough variety.

Awesome food. Amazing vibe. But complete mood spoiler by having 1 waiter for the whole outside area. People had to fetch their own food and drink inside. Still waiting on 4 wine glasses and our food order.....eventually got up and left to the next wine farm down the road.

Oh this is such a lovely place for brunch, with really tasty meals... value for money for sure! Oh the wines are of great value for money too... really had a lovely time here!

Food was good, but had literally the worst service Ive ever had. The waiter took 20 minutes to bring coffee, had to be reminded to bring the water and has to be found so that we could get desert menus. 5 tables of people in the resturant with three waiters. It is a real pity because it ruined what could be a very nice restaurant

The wine was very expensive. The food was okay. The play area for the kids was the reason we stayed. If I had to sum the place up in one word, it would be preppy.

Other then no plan to remove the kitchen smoke great place. PLAN FOR LOAD SHEDDING! You have a menu for load shedding but no smoke plan. I now smell like I have been at a braai! Service sucked food was so so not what we expected

Really overpriced for mediocre food. If you arrive after 11:00 they refuse to give you the breakfast menu, but wont put through a lunch order till after 12:00.

No paraplegic parking or inside venue. Food expensive and not worth the price. The service was so so. Waited for ever for waiters and for bill! Chips oily!! Etc etc

I love Nitida wines but visiting Tables for the first time made me love the brand even more. The food is delicious and different with a clear local inspiration but its a staff who really seal the deal.They went out of their way to get me a glass of my favorite Nitida wine, Calligraphy and everything was out of the world.Well priced excellent food and excellent service. The highlight ( food wise) of my 2 weeks in Cape town.

Great setting. Relaxed . Cold meat platter was beautifully presented , god amount of cold meats on it as well as preserves. Chiabatta was heavenly just not enough for two. We added extra cheese at R20 each ( platter choice didnt come with cheese ) cheese size not value for money but did complete the platter. Cabernet Sauvignon was great ,not too heavy .

Had their Burger (R140.00)....very disappointing! Burger was underwhelming, to say the least, and was served with a small cup of oily chips that tasted decidedly fishy....old oil perhaps? I have only ever had coffee here, up till this experience....and wont be eating here again in a hurry. Service was prompt and friendly.

I went for breakfast, which was alright just slightly oily. Took a bit of a while to get service, but hey... these things happen. I love dogs, and I am a dog owner, but I didnt appreciate the dog poop and smell while eating my first meal of the day but hey... Dog friendly places right. So maybe on a dog free day we try again.
