This place is amazing so special and sacred and rare. The food was delicious and tasty. The customer service is absolutely amazing and they so friendly. It has good feels and makes you feel fancy. The coffee was fine not my favorite. The atmosphere is fun and amazing. The owner is friendly and puts so much heart and love into every dish.

Ive been dying to try P& J after reading all the great reviews. The exterior helicopter on the roof doesnt give any clues to the industrial chic that awaits you inside. The cake spread at the entrance is enough to give you diabetes but in the most beautiful way. There are lots of rooms and two fireplaces. I loved the kelims on the floors. It really is a feast for your eyes. We had the beef main course and gnocchi for lunch. Both excellent. I had FOMO when I spotted the chicken mayo sandwiches heading to the other tables. Excellent service too

If I could live at Pajamas and Jam I would. EVERYTHING about this place is great. The ambiance, the food, the cakes, the aesthetic, the nearby shops, the staff. Honestly cannot recommend a place more. NB - Very busy on weekends, rather pricey, you will take extra cakes home with you.

Oh wow, what an amazing place. We went for a light breakfast. Had their savory muffin and it was super delicious. Love the presentation of the foods, service is great and prices are average. The decor is absolutely stunning so rustic, yet elegant but different from what youll expect in a restaurant. I will definitely be back on my next visit to the cape. For anyone wanting a relaxed meal, you have to put Pajamas and Jam on your bucket list.

Wow what an amazing place. It took my breath away when we walked inside and seen what the interior looked like. There’s an array of antique decorations. The atmosphere was great. Nice calming music in the background. The service was on point. It was difficult choosing what to eat because the variety is very good. This is a definite stop for anyone visiting Cape Town.

This was an amazing experience.The restaurant had an old school vibe and decor, comfortable and clean seating. Covid protocols were observed.We had a friendly waitress that attended to our table.The food was divine! The good idea breakfast and teriyaki fillet sandwich were amazing. Big portions, well plated, flavourful and prepared to perfection...the highlight is that all the ingredients are fresh!My all time favourite is dessert. The variety of cakes, tarts and pastries on offer is immense. Freshly baked and well presented.The sweet potato and rooibos cake and gooseberry cheesecake were absolutely delicious.Ill definitely be back for more!

Quickly popped in to Pajamas & Jam for a takeaway coffee, and it’s always a pleasant surprise to see this Somerset West gem nestled in an industrial area. I always give this place a 5/5 as I’ve yet to experience a single fault in food or service, when I come. Pajamas + Jam has a team that runs efficiently and who are warm and welcoming, and I get the most incredible eats when I have the time to dine. The coffee is a great takeaway, but the menu is truly outstanding with their vast choices of food (which, by the way, caters for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan diners too).For the dog lovers, there’s a dog-friendly experience at Pajamas & Jam for your furry loved ones too. You can sit outside, enjoying your coffee order with your doggo at rest with a treat & some water too.The only worry about this popular gem in the Somerset West industrial area, is parking availability – that’s always a bit of a struggle to find in the vicinity, but it still hasn’t put me off yet!

Always a treat, the music, the roaring fires and the amazing cakes.But R 35 for a Matcha + R 15 for Almond Milk + R 2 for honey, thats pushing it a bit guys. Really R 52 for a SMALL DRINK!

The client service and food were excellent...but...we dont like the coffee mugs with out a ear at all...the coffee is to warm to hold in your hand.... you can really work on that....

Absolutely beautiful inside, but unfortunately was packed with a 25 min waiting area and they dont take reservations. Coming from Melkbosstrand to Somerset West this was very dissapointing, so I walked out and ended up eating elsewhere. Their online menu seems absolutely amazing I came highly recommended. Maybe next time

What a hidden gem! I was a bit wary when arriving in an industrial parking area with my GPS saying arriving at destination on right...but after finding my way in, tasting the food and coffee, this place has become a definite favourite. Such a warm atmosphere, fantastic service and oh my goodness the food.. 😍

Really unique eatery half hidden in an industrial area. Menu items are unique and have interesting combinations. Food is excellent and great quality. Place gets really busy at lunch time. Interior design is modelled on an old antique shop, lots of things to look at. Also does take away speciality bread and cakes.

Excellent bakery delights. Very expensive in regards with other similar coffee shops/eateries and/or restaurants. Parking is obviously always an issue. All that being said everything is tasty and superb.

A very unique venue, great food and a large menu, have tried quite a few items.Problem with the music that is rather loud and echoes in the sink roof, making a conversation very difficult, we were told quite abruptly by management that they wont turn it down. Waiters not very friendly, had a cold coffee and eventually was asked if it can be reheated in the microwave, a flat white reheated? Our visitors enjoyed the food.

Long tables, lively conversations, and luscious food is served up in a setting of superior interest. Part eatery and part antique shop it was great fun to browse the collections of typewriters, anvils, and vintage film and television gear.Everything on the menu is delicious. An eclectic mix of hand-made cups, plates, wooden coasters, and borosilicate glass laboratory equipment conveys food to the tables.The staff are attentive and quite friendly.The only problem we had was a poorly placed cake label that led to a wrong order. Although we eventually received the correct slice, the never-eaten piece of cake came to our table twice and also made it onto our bill... It was oddly reminiscent of that lone-standing spiral staircase in the middle of the room that leads, via a dead drop, back to the bottom of the spiral staircase.

This is where food will dance with your taste buds, and keep pace with your best food memories.I’m kind of a fan of the easy grace of the Pulled chicken + honey bacon wrap, filled with mozzarella, caramelised onions, honey glazed bacon and avo, and the Creamy chicken livers + mosbolletjies, served with: slow cooked tomatoes, a toasted mosbolletjie, and parmesan.You’ll probably give yourself a mental tongue-lashing if you don’t exit with atleast one De Nata, a Cardamom+White Chocolate bun, or the Salted Fudge Cheesecake.

Delightful venue, filled with memorabilia from yesteryear. Great coffee and cake, albeit expensive. However, my pastry, an almond log was exceptionally disappointing. My husband also tasted it and it didnt taste of almonds at all.

I really love this eclectic trendy beautiful eatery. I had a wonderful breakfast, shortly after landing in Cape Town. I had the delicious Cardamom and nut French toast and caramel milkshake. I wanted to go back but didnt realize they close on Sundays. Shame on me for not paying attention. LOL

An interesting venue with beautiful looking food, but it is rather overrated and overpriced.I ordered the Goats cheese eggs, which was very disappointing. Eggs served in a deep bowl, which makes it difficult to eat and the rest of the promised ingredients are hidden between 2 thick slices of dry, tasteless and untoasted bread. The scrambled egss werent seasoned at all and had a rubbery texture, almost as if it had been in the microwave.

Different but nice vibe,not a first date choice.

The interior is brilliant and the food is great. But I ordered a hot chai latte and I got an enamel mug without a handle and picking the mug up to drink was uncomfortable as it was very hot. Other than that, its a must see and well worth the visit! I could easily spend a whole day here.

One word. Incredible. After looking for a convenient place to stop and have lunch we came across Pajamas and jam. The attention to detail from the decor to the foods presentation is absolutely phenomenal. I had the chicken mayo and mozzarella wrap. This was hands down the best wrap Ive ever eaten. Every bite was bursting with freshness and flavour. Google, why cant I rate this 6 stars?

Place is usually busy, but they have a big waiting area where you can browse some antiques and even buys what is for sale.Place is not designated for children. As a parent youll be frustrated to keep eyes on your toddler. (my personal view)If you have not been here before, time to treat your self and your partner.Price a bit on the expensive side, but to be expected based on what you get, the whole experience.
