This place is amazing. The food portions is generous and it taste great. The staff is pure gold. They have the perfect setup for your dream wedding. A everything in one package with awesome views of Table Mountain. From your catering needs, events and accommodation they have it all covered. If you only want to go to the restaurant, its a must try. They come highly recommended.

My first visit was really awesome - everyone was super friendly which is rare find.The service was great (and friendly) and the food was very tasty to say the least.. .the location of the venue is refreshing, spacious yet cosy...a level above the rest tx.

Beautiful Venue.. But sadly no Halaal Friendly dishes.. We had Hake and Calamari.. But every bite tasted fatty.. My 3 stars are based on the Venue and the fact that the people I went with enjoyed their Burgers..

Great spot outdoors for a relaxed breakfast. Food was really good. My only gripe is that it took too long to prepare the breakfast. We were one of only 3 tables there, so it was not all that busy. But otherwise a great place.

This is an exceptional hidden spot down the back roads of Table View, backing onto the wetlands of Rietvlei. Well spaced on plenty of land the site includes a garden nursery, restaurant, private areas and banqueting areas that could encompass anything from weddings, christenings, wakes and any other kind of party. The outer area opens onto large grass areas that can be used to keep kids occupied or for photos with table mountain as backdrop.

Beautiful venue that most of us didnt know that it existed. Beautiful setup, tasty food and very helpful staff.

The owners are super helpful. Staff is well trained best service, food and a feeling of being at home at McPhersons.I recommend their Breakfast `baie lekker` take your pet friend with plenty of space to run and play (not talking about your husband)

The accomodation part of it has decent prices. Good for contractors looking to stay over for a couple of days. Not the most comfortable beds but a good stay overall.

Perfect for weddings. Sound and lighting provided so less hassle for DJs. Food is SUPERB! will definitely recommend them to anybody

We found that the place is on the increase as they are busy with renovations to increase the capacity for weddings and other functions! Seen that the restaurant is on the same premises of a beautiful Nursery the scenes are always colourful as all the plants and trees are in bloom! There is a love-lii kid-iis playground with well maintained climbing structures and a slide! Outside you are free to roam the Vlei & field where birds and ducks can be observed at times........For us this will always be a venue that we will frequent and support as there meals can also be purchased on Wiki-Deals!.........….Today 28th March 2018: - This restaurant which is established on the premises of a nursery right on the edge of the Vlei with awesome picturesque views of Table Mountain and Lions Head in the background remains a world class venue especial-lii now that some major up-grades and renovations have been made! I had my wedding at this venue it was small and we paid a customized amount due to the pandemic and because it was less than 30 guest and it is great venue and perfect location and I wouldve given a 5 star review if one of the owners were more accomdating,It is owned by a husband and wife, the wife and assistant was very friendly and accomdating from the moment myself and my husband choose the venue, however a day before the wedding and on our wedding day things were not organized correctly and we werent treated very well, yes we were running abit late however we were constantly rushed and advised that because we didnt pay the full price so we need to finish up.Perfect venue if you pay the right price

What a hidden little Gem. Its a beautiful venue with your typical great views of Table mountain from that side of the peninsula.Food and service was excellent. We booked a birthday breakfast and iverstayed our welcome. We were very well looked after. Great day out at a great venue.

Great wedding venue, perfect location with magnificent mountain views. Only down side is the PA system at the venue which was not great. Also not ideal for playing loud music as neighbours complain.

What can I say! This place is amazing. The resturant is hidden away from the main stream resturants. As you walk thru the door, you are greeted by the most amazing staff members. They are pleasant, attentive and professional. The waiter was spot on with his timing. The drinks and food were perfectly timed. The hostess was always on the floor, making sure everything was running smoothly.Adding to the atmosphere, they have live music on Thursday evenings. Stunning singer and choice of songs.The food was well displayed and looked very appetizing. My steak was perfectly grilled, with loads of flavour. The chips and salad complemented the steak. Add a nice glass of red wine and you have the perfect meal. I ended the meal with the cheese cake. It did not disappoint! Perfect ending to a perfect meal. Thank you McPhersons staff for an amazing night out, with great service and really good quality food.

Understaffed at a planned event and employees were drunk while serving guests at our wedding. Toilets were filthly. Disorganized and very disappointing - did not live up to its expectations at all. Unfortunate for such a beautiful venue. A lot of money was spent and staff did not deliver.

Absolutely stunning venue run by friendly and professional staff. The waiters/host/manager as well as other staff members were extremely helpful and catered to the needs of our party. Would highly recommend ordering their Granola Mix as its filling, affordable and a healthy spoil. Venue caters for large/small groups and efficiently handles all orders well.

Its like a special gem tucked away at the end of Gill Street. The decorations and the whole layout was so special and memorable. The visitors who came to lunch in the courtyard brought their furry friends with and that was so fabulous to see. They cater for every type of gathering. Highly recommended. Xxxx

I was actually Blown Away by the Beauty of this Awesome Restaurant it is located on parts of Rietvlei Wetlands. It is so Beautiful with a Stunning View of the Famous Table Mountain & they have hosted many Weddings & Parties.It has a very relaxing atmosphere. I went there for Breakfast & had the McPhersons Du Luxe Breakfast it was so Delicious & my plate was full its serves as both Breakfast & Lunch combined & you really dont need anything else until Dinner time. The service was extremely good & the waitress was both friendly & very helpful. I can recommend McPhersons to anyone & the prices are not expensive. Thank you for making my day. We were service providers at a beautiful wedding at McPhersons Nursery providing the best fun for any event, our photo booth, Hart Shots Photography. We had never visited McPhersons before, what a gem of a place of interest for great food, ample space to sit inside & out. GREAT for smokers and non! The view of Table Mountain is most spectacular! The staff are extremely accommodating, we watched them in action making the day especially romantic for their guests, going beyond all expectations!

I am currently staying in the Cabin, part of the B&B, the service is outstanding and can highly recommend the overnight facility.The owners really go out of their way to accommodate their clients.The restaurant and personnel are immaculate!!

Adorable and intimate restaurant snuggled within a nursery, showing off the view of Table Mountain. I have photographed two weddings here, and everything was so beautiful!Ive also attended baby showers and bridal showers here. The management and staff make everything so comfy 🙂 Give them a call before making your way there, theres a good chance of a private function taking place.

It is very peaceful and you can have weddings functions and get married there. It is beautifully laid out. You can go for breakfast and coffee really a place for all. Happy visit
