The Mambos family are welcoming and friendly. One of the best environments to enjoy sporting action on the tele 💪. Service is top notch and the grub is good too. One of my fav watering holes. 😆

The atmosphere was great. No manager on duty and food was of a very poor quality. I phone the day after my experience and could still not get hold of s manager. Nothing good to say of the food.

Love the ambience and the fact that they have a lovely outside area. Its a casual laid back setup which I enjoy on a Sunday afternoon and ample safe parking. Enjoyed their Bacon wrapped Poppers...will be back for more. Sorry my daughter and I couldnt resist so no pics 😉

I take my mother there to the Pub & Restaurant, good food 🍲 pretty cheap considering other restaurants in and around Plumstead area. Service is very friendly and helpful I would have gone there yesterday but we opted for something like Asian food matter of choice, but Mambos is a really nice Sports Pub, ladies bar restaurant for the outside seating very relaxed setting, unfortunately no views!

Mambos is a pub frequented by the residents in the surrounding area. It has a small casino, bar area and dining area. Its a good place to go and watch sports on TV or just sit in the sun and have a chat with a friend. The facility could use a bit more attention and hands on care. Otherwise a quaint little pub with lots of history.

Nice place to grab a beer... lots of screens for sports, good music, friendly staff. The food is tasty and you get a decent portion for a relatively cheap price. Both a dining area and a separate bar area, with chairs and tables outdoors.

Place is inclined to white visitors, barman/manager treated me with such disrespect that I wouldnt recommend it to non-white visitors. Despite him and his colleague Robin the place is good but not worth having to traverse a racial minefield.

Likes: has a bit of atmosphere, outdoor tables, convenient parking, watching sport. Downsides: expensive (like most places, to be fair), whole inside is a smoking area, used to have at least three beers on tap but now only Castle (at least, when I went there), not a smart place (patrons a bit run down, and all smokers it seems), gambling machines and their punters are a bit of a downer for me, a bit sad. These places are all about the machines, other patrons are secondary.

A Classic Publican for locals. Brandy beer cigarettes and big TV’s Gambeling on the side with some fried food for ballast. Nice neon sign! It’s safe, utilitarian and lekker local !
