Have gotten takeaways once and dined in twice. Takeaways were impressive servings for the price, oily but as expected. First time dining in was pretty decent, average food but good price. But tonight I went there again and the food tasted terrible, the service was terrible, the exact same menu item that I’d ordered previously did not come with noodles even though before that it did ?? So we ordered a side of noodles which cost us R60 for a bowl - pretty sure that’s more than some of the dishes on the menu that come with noodles/rice 🤯

Wow , wow , wow !! I have just recently discovered this gem in the south, tucked away in Bergvliet.THE BEST SUSHI by far that Ive had in years. Super friendly and effecient sushi chef and their prices are very reasonabily priced. The texture of the rice and portion sizes are exactly the way sushi should be made. 10/10 in my books and I will be back constantly as this is my new favourite place with Mr Lees Mom always on hand to give you pointers on what to select and why. 👌👏👏

Friday night was super busy. All the tables were full and a queue for takeaways. I was told waiting time was 30min but my small order came in 15. Spring rolls are big and crispy, chow mein veg and egg fried rice were good. The Chicken was tender and juicy with crispy batter but sadly I think they forgot to pack the sweet and sour sauce.

Portion sizes small, price not worth what you get; also not willing to add extras to a dish as its all precooked...

Weve been meaning to try Lees Chinese Restaurant for ages based on the rave recommendations of friends, family and social media. We arrived early on a Friday evening not knowing to expect. There were plenty of tables to choose from and we settled in for a memorable meal. Superb food and service.

Sweet sour chicken with noodle or rice delicious, not to mention their Spring Rolls, also Sushi. Stocks various Asian products for purchase i.e.Noodles, Oyster sauce, Teriyaki sauce...etc.... Offers Takeout or dine at their Reataurant. Good experience overall.

Took a takeaways of chicken chowmein and egg fried rice. Was disappointed at the chowmein portions for the price. The egg fried rice was too bland for our liking. The staff on the other hand very friendly. It was my first time buying at Lees.

We enjoyed a Buffet Dinner for R139 p.p. which I thoroughly enjoyed except for the Spring Rolls which had too much pastry and too little filling. First time for me trying their Beef and Blackbean stew which was excellent. Good value for money. Dessert is extra. They do offer a Pensioners rate on specified days of the month for R105p.p.

Love this friendly, essential part of the neighbourhood.

This place serves nice food, though the Chinese fried rice is less tasteful than the Chinese fries rice at long street.The place is easily accessible and security is tight. The place is cool and can have a family dinner here.The servers are awesome and welcome you, they serve with smiles and makes you feel at home

Nice food. The plain noodles needed something and were a little bland. The price was ok. Speed was great. Staff friendly. Enjoyed the take away meal. The veg spring rolls were really good indeed. No complaints at all really except something missing from the noodles.

The place could do with a little TLC in terms of decor and overall appearance. But what they lack in aesthetics they make up for with great tasting, fresh, and reasonably priced sushi. The chicken spring rolls also make for a great car snack as you drive home to devour your sushi.I keep returning purely for the amazing sushi, I would definitely recommend that you give them a try.

My family has been ordering food from Lees for years. This evening I ordered a ginger garlic chilli chicken, beef chow mein, sweet and sour pork and egg fried rice. It was horrible, no flavour, salty beef and oily food. There was no unique taste to each dish, everything had the same terrible taste.Sadly we will not be back!!

This is my go-to place for Chinese take-out. You can also eat in. Good food, brilliant spring rolls. Casual... like many Chinese restaurants not much ambiance but still a great place to go if you dont feel like cooking. All you can eat buffet available.

Typical, standard neighbourhood Chinese restaurant (sit-in or take-away) - totally inappropriate restaurant furniture and lighting however, the food is delicious, the service is friendly and inviting. The all you can eat buffet is limited to 1 soup starter and 2-3 mains. Always delicious!
