Great place to be..bathrooms accessible to everyone including handicapped people...great coffee ..Can really make a day of it..food is great....But??? 2 ladies sitting to my left complained about the ladies bathroom...Perhaps management can keep their hands on it...but otherwise a great relaxing day...and yes pets are welcome playpen for kids

Love going here from time to time. The food is decent, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere very relaxing.We were treated in a courteous and professional manner.

Great venue to take young children, but the food is disappointing. For the kids: multiple animals you can feed, including alpacas, goats, pigs, etc. Enough play areas to keep them entertained. The garden centre itself is also very professional. Plenty of parking. However, the food was a low point for me. Having a three year old means we visit a lot of children focused restaurants. This one ranks at the bottom for both quality and value for money. We had a rib burger and a full breakfast (sausage, potato, etc). From presentation to taste it is underwhelming. You get the feeling they know they have a captive market and have priced accordingly. I dont mind paying for decent food, but this missed all the marks.

We spent the afternoon with our 2 grandchildren. Lunch was excellent, service great even though they were pretty busy. Venue is sooo child friendly, lots to do keeping them busy. Then the personal touch from management checking if we well looked after. Lovely encounter and will certainly return.

Kids play area is good but the food is horrible. Stale chips, pizza tastes old. Ive been here a few times and unfortunately the same experience. Also dont expect to get your food within a reasonable time period. Overall, food is terrible, good venue for kids.

Pet friendly which is always a winner and good value for money we couldnt finish our plate of food, portions were that generous. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Food was not up to standard. The oven baked frozen chips were not cooked properly. The chicken and mayo sandwich was terrible. Loaded with sour mayo and very little chicken that was actually sliced smoked chicken from a packet rather than cooked. The orange juice was sour too.When we told all this to the manager he made excuses. After recording our unhappiness he said, well enjoy, and walked away. Obviously not interested or not listening.The waiter, Gift, was very pleasant and understanding. He should be manager!

The food was good, but the service was slow. The kids enjoyed themselves with the petting zoo and play area. It is a beautiful outdoor setting.

Great fun for the kids, I think all Stodels should use this concept, or at least a few of them. Nonetheless, had a great time seeing the animals and the reptile park.

The most friendly and efficient staff, making sure our table was sanitised and we had everything we need. And the important part, the food was out of this world, and I had ample options as a vegan eater.

Excellent service and great food. Love the tranquil setting setting and beautiful scenery with plants and flowers. The plus it is Pet friendly,the perfect way to spend time with your family. Lots of play space for kids.

I was appauled at the lack of covid regulations here. I was seated back to back with another customer so no social distancing between tables at all. The waitstaff were mostly wearing their masks without covering their noses and the manager had a mask which rested below his top lip and would leave it there even when talking to customers. The barista had her mask around her chin. The tomato sauce was passed from one customers table to another without being sanitised in between.I wish I could say the food was at least great but it was below average and not worth the trip.

Such poor service. Food takes long and is of very poor quality. Found a bread tag in my childs toasted cheese sandwich. Halloumi breakfast, I found a dead fly in my avo that was served with it. The best of this place is the cooldrinks and the outdoor vibe.

Quality of food has gone down. Ordered a trammazini which was soggy and over salted. They use the same dirty cloth all day to wipe down the tables and you can smell it. Not very sanitary.

Went yesterday to fetch my daughter and granddaughter from Greenleaf restaurant where they waited a long time for their food. My granddaughter gave me a chicken nugget it was so hard and dry that I just could not eat it. You can just as well put dog pellets in the plate with chips and that for R55!! What should have been a relaxing outing turned to be a disgrace!

After a horrendous experience at the cafe, the owner got back to me and apologized for the bad service and food.The second time around the service and food was faarrrrr better.. I suggest keeping your week staff on a weekend too as they really deliver.

Tramazzimi, Avo & Halloumi Salad and Burgers were just Terrible...but the slush puppies and drinks were good. The quality of food was definately not worth the cash spent.I will not recommend eating at Green Leaf Cafe....pity as the kids enjoyed the parks and animals.

Took my daughter to Gren Leaf Cafe yesterday. Waited about 30mins for a kids chicken nuggets and chips, had to ask for serviets and utencills. When her food arrived it was 4 super small dried out over fried nuggets which was so dry she could not chew them and way over prized at Rr55. Never again. The waiters seem clueless and need more training. Put the tomato sauce bottle on another table of patrons not even wiping it off

Lovely garden setting. Dining under the trees or inside the restaurant which resembles an old train carriage. Nice old world charm and really friendly staff. Joan the owner is a Super Star. One of the best chocolate milkshakes Ive had in a while. Very child friendly and a nice place to escape to for some peace and tranquility

Good food. Very very very bad service. Even after taking to manager it took 20min for 2 coffees and a slice of cake.They are sitting on a very good spot and Stodels will also do better if Green Leaf Cafe have better service.

Very nice kids play area with lots of variety. Tables are right next to it so you can keep an eye on the little ones. Food prices are reasonable and coffees not bad either. Good value overall!

I absolutely love coming here with my family. They have animal food to feed the kids and play grounds and they cater to kiddies parties. Granny in her wheel chair could get up the ramp to join us and the staff was so helpful. The food was absolutely amazing especially the tramazini. We are regular customers and we will keep coming back. The service and atmosphere is amazing

Very Very Poor Service. I would not recommend anyone to eat there!Accept for the fact that we waited so long for our food but when it finally arrived our burger patties were cold and the chips were stale. Even my child that loves her chicken nuggets so much couldnt eat hers because it was baked so hard it actually hurt her gums.Great play area but these people need customer service training and a recheck on the food they are making.

Would say the service was shocking but there actually needs to be service to say that.The place was rather quiet with staff members standing idly in the background while we sat waiting to be recognized. Waitresses walked past us but didn’t bother to ask if we have placed an order - making eye contact didn’t help. Maybe I’ve developed invisibility powers. Sad - bad experience.

Very slow and pathetic service. Table, cuttlery, the actual wine bottle and glasses were so dirty, that I were a bit concerned with the meal. Savoury pancakes were delicious, tramazini was good value, but the kiddies meals were rather expensive for what you got (compared to other restaurants). All in all, a good place to avoid as there are many other similar places with better service. In todays economic climate all privately owned restaurants should invest in proper staff, cleanliness and do all in their power to attract clients, not chase them away.

If you want to age while you wait for your order come here. You will wait, and wait some more, and just when you think your order is coming. Guess what more waiting. Then theyll bring you the wrong food, the wrong drink, even if they bring the correct food wont match the description on the menu. Avoid like the plague unless you deliberately feel like working on your patience.

Slow and inattentive service. Food quality is okay but not good value for money. Everything seems to take twice as long here.

Great area to let the kids play. Food is fine, just a shame about the filthy choo choo train that has to blast its exhaust fumes while you are eating. Get rid of that ride, or get it a electric motor or something...

Relaxing atmosphere and good food!

The worst service ever, had to eventually walk and fetch my own tray and order at the bar. The waffels were nothing less than disgusting, I am shocked at the pathetic quality of food and service.... Stodels, fix or sell the horrible place on your site.... 😡

Great food although coffee was disgusting. Special said free coffee with every meal but they charged us for the coffee. Will not be going back ever again

Service was shocking. I placed my order and waited for almost 40 min. When the waiter returned and informed me that they dont have avo. And asked if I want something different. I then cancelled my order because I am not prepared to wait another 40 min. She the returned with my childs food. And I left it so she can eat and then asked for the bill. Then their card machine did not work another 40 minutes for me trying and waiting. I then said let me please just go to the bank and withdraw the R75. The waiter then asked for my phone and Id. I said I am not comfortable leaving my private belongings with them. Because this is not a fault from my site. The rude manageress then would not let me leave unless she had my personal belongings. She said this was not the first time this happened with them they had their card machines broke a week ago aswell. I can sit and drink coffee until their machines work again . Eventually I phoned someone who made the payment for me. How pathetic and embarrassing.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Honestly the most terrible food and service in Durbanville. Trramezzinis are microwaved, soft and squishy. Chips are not salted at all. Been here twice and never had a good waitor, not friendly at all and no manners. Asked for my tramezzini to be toasted properly as I have had it the last time and it was soft and not toasted at all. This time was even worse. Husband asked for a bacon, egg and cheese on brown toastie and received it on white with a hard egg.
