It was a friends gathering occasion. I was disappointed with my meal as I had ordered my rump steak being cooked medium. I initially noticed that it was almost cooked as ordered. But the rest of the meat was red and blood running from the meat. I asked that they cooked it a little more in order for me to try and enjoy my meal. This was not a pleasant experience and I will not be going back there very soon.

My husband and I had a wonderful evening at Dros Okavango.This was our first visit, despite living in the area for some time, and we were not disappointed.The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you Adam (and colleagues) for looking after us so well!

This is a good place to go for the whole family. Good food in general with a lot of choices on the menu. They are also one of the few that basically have a special from Monday to Friday. The only thing for me that is not as good is their waffles. The waffles are to me like cardboard and not as fluffy as a true waffle should be. All in all I would recommend this place and is easily one of the best managed Dros restaurants in Cape Town.

This was my first visit to Dros Okavango. Didnt know it was at this location. It was by chance that we came to visit this Dros.My number one Dros was always the one in Randburg JHB. Guess what, that has now changed. My number one Dros now is Okavango. Thank you guys for making my visit memorable. The waitrons was excellent and very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and very tasty. My girlfriend was very happy and complimented the beautiful atmosphere created by the staff and management at this venue. We went to Dros, Okavango on the 5th of November 2020.We had the calamari, rice and chips combo followed by the cheese cake for dessert.Good alternatives in terms of the menu and also a good alcohol variety.Really nice atmosphere and Dros, Okovango also followed the COVID-19 safety checks by providing hand sanitiser, fever-checking as well as the necessary COVID-19 entrance form.The waiter provided excellent service and the food was really well-prepared.The area is also safe, and you can park close to the restaurant. There are car guards during the day-time as well.I can definitely recommend Dros, Okavango.

First time at this Dros, loves it. Sat outside under the tent at the kids play area (great for.kids by the way), waitress was fantastic (Zim lady), food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back and highly recommended 👌

We went to Dros Okavango on Thursday night with friends.. The food was outstanding and calamari and chips - serving for a king.Our waiter Mike - what can I say wonderful amazing friendly ...and Afrikaans speaking!! We will most definitely visit that great place again. Thank you!!!

Very nice place. There is a section for smokers and play pen for children as well. The ceiling is made up of used empty bottles which is very interesting. I ordered the eisbein and it was simply the best I ever had.

Dros set the tone for a relaxing afternoon with my boyfriend. The drinks specials provide good value for money and the food was great!

Service was really slow. Waited almost an hour for dinner but food was great.The Chip mayo sauce I do not recommend 😒.

I am extremely disappointed in tonight’s service. We arrived there before closing time but the staff accepted us and told us we had 15 minutes to order . Not even a minute went by and we were almost forced to order as the waiter almost two were in our faces before we even looked at the menu . So anyways, we order a pizza and burgers and our burger patty was raw . I tell the waiter and he tells me it’s supposed to be that way . My burger was red inside ! No guys, you have to do better . I’m only rating one star as I did enjoy the milkshake .

Good food, good service & nice entertainment for the kids

Service delivery time was very much below standard.Several dishes were not up to standard when it comes to being warm and fresh.Staff were well manered however they made it feel like they were doing me (as a client) a favour.Will not be returning to said restaurant in the near future.

Dross Okavongo CrossingLast night (Friday) my husband and I ordered the Eisbein meal. It was aweful. The outside was hard and the meat was tough. I cut one piece off mine with a lot of effort, took the rest home for my neighbours dog.My husband ate part of the inside of his Eisbein, boxed the rest for our neighbours dog.We did not complain at the time because there were many people sitting closs to us.We frequent Dross at Okavango crossing and have never had such bad quality food (Eisbein)Eisbein should be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We ordered take away with the collection option. All three meals were as good as they would be sitting down. They paid attention to my order, we asked for crispy Eisbein and the basting was given on the side. My medium steak was a good cut and perfectly prepared. Upon collection every staff member who walked past me asked If Ive been helped. Super impressed! Wish they delivered though 🙂

Very friendly staff. It wasn’t busy, but that is probably expected during this time. Just check, they might close a bit earlier of it is extremely quiet. Hopefully we can support our restaurants in full again soon.

So impressed with their breakfast. Even when extremely busy, they pulled a very good looking, extremely yummy, and still piping hot breakfast off. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the venue is very aesthetically pleasing.

Fantastic staff even under such terrible conditions with Covid. The burger wasnt anything to write home about but it filled a spot. If anything I would say the kitchen staff need to know the difference between cooking their meat to their clients tastes, eg medium, medium/well. And their ground beef for their burgers is a little too coarse. With a Rocomomas opposite them they need to do a little better

I had a really bad experience at a Dros in a different location a few years back. The Dros in Okavango definitely restored my faith in the brand. Friendly staff, fast service and great food.

I ordered two Eisbeins from Dros in Okavango on Saturday via Mr D Food. If I could swear I would. It was by a mile the best Eisbein I had ever had. And it wasnt even that expensive either. It was seriously well made. They shouldnt try to change anything about how they make it because its perfect.

Bit on the pricey side. All establishments like to RIP clients off with the wine and in general all alcohol. 169 for a bottle of nederberg baron. 89 rand in shops. Bit steep..service was excellent
