Magnificent and stylish spot with place to sit outside of the weather is good. And the food is out of the books - freshly prepared and dished up in beautiful plates and crockery.Between us is now at the top of my list of dinner spots in Cape Town.

Best restaurant Ive found in Cape Town for years. Brilliant food, service and presentation at reasonable prices. The interior design and architecture is also something to admire for those who pay attention to finer details. Well done and good luck during these challenging times.

Incredible! I went here for breakfast, really enjoyed the muddled eggs (soft boiled eggs chopped up and mixed with an in-house made mayo and mustard seeds, served with 2 different types of bread rolls and a herb butter). The stand out was the rum banana bread with brown butter! So good! I actually went back the next day just because of the banana bread. On my second visit I had a smoothie, best Ive ever had. Also had some oats (this was me trying to have a healthy brekkie) . I would not only recommend going here for breakfast, I would insist that you go as soon as possible! Delicious meal served with unique and refreshing drinks. The two twin sisters ,who own the restaurant and create the recipes, are so good that they can make interesting even a meatball and linguini dish. Oxtail pasta is one of my favourite, and the ginger gelato they serve with date cake is to die for!

What a gem of a setting... we totally enjoyed the experience and the service was friendly and effective! Our food was scrumptious and delicious with the combine effort with the baristas aromatic cappuccinos made this an unforgettable experience 👏 🙌 👌

I love this space, the interior is beautiful and light with high ceilings and minimalist decor. The naked walls and wooden tables make it a stunning space to spend time working, having a breakfast with friends or a delicious dinner. I often work here with a delicious coffee and my favorite the fig and pistachio smoothie. BUT I treated myself to dinner here the other night and oh my gosh, the poached salmon was so yum. I really reccomend giving this spot a whirl.

The place has delicious food. Its always a nice vibe. Nice place to just chill and enjoy a meal. The staff is also very friendly. Overall lovely restaurant.

I am so delighted by this little place. Well decorated nice vibe and incredibly friendly staff. If you’re a veggie, or a pescatarian these salads are the way to go. Decent portions and value for money. So nice to see the owners so hands on.

The venue was delightful. Lovely decor and the atmosphere was sublime. We were warmly welcomed at the door by Carol our waitress for the evening. She was a joy. We ate every one of her delightful food recommendations. The food was amazing. You could see and taste that every dish had been well thought out and lovingly prepared. Do yourself a favor and go and visit this venue. We went early at 5:30pm, but the place was soon packed.

Had dinner here with work friends. Really tasty tapas and a great old fashioned. I think we all had the veg pasta which was excellent. And a tasty glass of white wine. Friendly servers and rly tasteful decor. I like the furniture and the overhead lights remind me of the TV show “DEVs” on the fx channel, directed by Alex garland. Five stars. Would recommend.

Such a calm a collected place. Decorated very nicely and smells incredible when you walk inside. Food was delicious but the portion sizes were a tad small compared to the price, however, you can really see the quality of the ingredients.

The porcini mushrooms risotto and the charcoal grilled chicken breast are must to try and indulge for a perfect match of Tuscany culinary cuisine brought to Cape Town with fine cooking skills! Looking forward to enjoy another menu dish choice!

The restaurant is owned by two sisters (twins). I enjoyed the food and the ambiance! I really enjoyed the oxtail. This experience is a must. I recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wonderful desserts. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

Lovely lunchtime venue.Attention to detail and friendly server. Food healthy and something for meat and non meat eaters. Special fruity cordial drinks. Parking was a bit of a challenge. Looking forward to trying it out in the evening... especially the cocktails.

Gorgeous, divine, everything I imagined it to be. Came for dinner on a rainy evening -- the candlelight and heaters offered a cosy ambience and it was a delight to see quite a few other people out with their friends and families. Important that places like this get the support they deserve! One of my new favs: simply magic.

I popped in to meet a friend for a coffee but the aromas filling the air piqued my interest. I had what I initially thought might be an overpriced soup but the cauliflower velouté delivered the tastiest soup I have enjoyed in ages - topped with tarragon oil and roe which made for a sensational flavour combination. I can’t wait to return, and I would love to steal the wooden furniture.

Zero covid protocols followed. Rather support businesses that care about the wellbeing of the clients and that will get us out of covid instead of wave after wave.Disappointing that management don’t even have the decency to respond on their social media accounts when addressed.Ended having a spectacular meal nearby at Clarke’s Bar and Dining Room.

Food is good, but on the pricey side for what it is (decent homemade cooking).

We just had breakfast at Between Us and as much as the service and food were good, they hardly follow Covid 19 precautions. Our temperature, name and details were not taken, staff are only wearing a plastic shield with no mask (not protecting the patron or the people working there from anything), kitchen staff were also not wearing masks and above all the manager was going around not wearing a mask or any other form of protection. As much as we enjoy this spot, we will not be back.

The most disrespectful experience Iv ever had in Cape Town, between the manager shouting that because we are BLACK we need to understand poor service to the very nonchalant manner in which the owners treated our complaint, I really would urge all people to not go to this restaurant.

Really worth a visit.

The food was spot on for dinner. The grilled octopus was probably the best I’ve had and the fresh pasta my partner ordered was simple but perfectly done. Service was good and friendly although it was a busy time. Overall a fabulous dinner!

The feeling of home with an elegant touch. Amazing hearty dishes with an impressive wine selection. A perfect place for special occasions.

Great atmosphere great food

Been here twice in the past few weeks. Decent food both times, but not amazing. Set menu was overpriced at R650 excl drinks, on par with fine dining establishments but not quite up to that standard.

Fantastic decor, however service was incredibly slow and I would describe it as ‘disinterested’ at best. We had to flag the one owner down to order, the food arrived before the cutlery & napkins, our finished plates sat for over 5 minutes on the table while owners & staff swanned around, additional drinks were not offered even though glasses were empty and neither was dessert. The Chicken pie, @R120 a shot, had a tasty filling & cute side salad, but pastry was hard & heavy. My friend described it as like ‘eating a hard, stale scone’. Would not recommend this Resturant nor would I return.

Just amazing. We had the most delicious lunch here. Burrata with caponata. Penne with confit tuna and salsa verde. Baked cheesecake. Delicious Riesling. Sat outside and it was the nicest lunch in a long time.

Love the design and the food

Disappointed in the very small, mingy portion of quiche. Could barely see the salad that accompanied it. So if you hungry & want a reasonable helping look elsewhere! Expensive with poor, slow service. So if in a hurry look elsewhere. One waiter serving all the tables but four chefs in the kitchen? A case of too many chefs & not enough waiters. Had to wait 10 minutes for hot milk, by which time my coffee was ice cold & that was after I had asked twice!

So the venue is quaint and food is interesting albeit priced on the high side for what you get. But very digital nomad unfriendly, may i suggest Sotano across the road - far more welcoming and appreciative of your business, and the coffee is better anyway.

Some of the best meals I’ve had in Cape Town to date. The ambience is calming and beautiful and the wine list is lovely. Can’t recommend enough for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.
