Great selection of both traditional and alternative medicines and related items. They stock some unusual ranges like the Bach Remedies and incense. Knowledgeable and friendly staff do their best to help, even with my strange requests for obscure items. They were a little short on a number of products, possibly due to the high season.

When phoning STH you hold forever and the staff are unfriendly as well. The pharmacy is also very very slow in getting your prescription ready and they hand out SOOOO much paper work!

Agree with the previous reviewer who mentioned that this is a dreadful place because of the appalling dismal service that I experienced here. Definitely not anywhere near the great service standards when it was the old Steps to Health previously owned n run by the legendary Ian Wheeler. Terrible service now n doesnt even deserve 1 star. Ordered a product from Austin working there n had to phone 3 times regarding my order n he never phoned me back once despite promising me that he would each time I called him. 1 year ago also placed an order for homeopathic medicine with a pharmacist there n still waiting for them to phone me regarding the medicine ordered n alas still not received. Will never shop at this medicare branch ever again. Agee with all of the other latest reviewers who also complained about the poor service here n who also gave this pharmacy only 1 star.

Dreadful place. Everyone is rude except for one lad, who probably wont last long because hes polite and friendly. I wouldnt give any stars at all, but I cant post a review if I dont. Everone there seems to have a major attitude problem. They seem to hate their customers, hate working there, and hate the way their lives have turned out. Im not sure if the staff are bitter because they failed medical school and couldnt become doctors or what their problem is, but its always been this way since Ive been going there, which is at least 10 years. Today was the final straw. I will never go there again if I can help it. Rather go to Meadowridge pharmacy, where they are friendly, polite and helpful.

Always getting medication based on scripts wrong. Never stocked properly. Never deliver if requested or deliver the wrong thing. Or if call for collection they dont prepare it.

Staff needs to let people know that what theyre recommending is homeopathic medication. Just bought 284 rands worth of meds only to get home and notice theyre homeopathic. I have not read any evidence based research that homeopathic medicine works. Worst of all, one cannot return medication. No wonder that lady watched me as I left.

I have been going to Steps to Health Pharmacy for years to get my prescriptions and other natural remedies. The staff have always treated me with courtesy and a high level of professionalism each time. They are one of the best pharmacies in the city and they consistently have the medications you need at competitive prices.

Since new ownership its just not the same. They close before closing time and NEVER answer the phone after 18:30 which is so unprofessional

I called before arrival in a panic requesting that they stay open 5 minutes extra, the lady who answered the phone said that they would. I arrived before 7pm, before closing time, only to discover the door locked and no one answering the phone.

Phoned on Friday 9th Feb to find out whether or not that sell supplements sa products, I asked to speak to someone in the nutrition department who would know, the lady said please hold but before she transferred me she began to laugh and talking to her friend about how stupid I am for asking for the nutrition department her buddy merely replied with a no man obviously not agreeing with her insult
