Not open to visit. But still an interesting walk and peeps through the windows...
Excellent well worth the visit. But you must arrange access!
Nice small museum with some of the equipment used to build the dams and other. So those taking the time to walk up to Hely Hutchinson Dam will be able to see this.
It was closed and looked as if it is no longer being used.
The museum gives a very interesting insight into the past of Table Mountain and what it took to build the dams on top. Very impressive.
An excellent museum with lots of artifacts, photos and information about the construction of the five dams on Table Mountain. Would have given it 4 or 5 stars if it had been open the last two times that I visited it. Unfortunately SANParks are getting worse and worse, by the month, at managing the public facilities for which they are responsible
A really great piece of history. It is worth taking a trip here. take a picnic basket and after viewing the museum take a walk along the dam wall. There are some very nice places where you can have your picnic. At certain times of the year you can find the Disa (family Orchidaceae). A beautiful red flower. they are also found in blue (semi-scarce).
Been in here a couple of times (and passed it countless times) and its really enjoyable and interesting. Only issue is that it very seldom seems to be open.
There is so much to see I would love every person to take time and go and explore , forget about partying for a weekend😁
Beautiful view
Good .
