We opted for the Korean bbq double portion. You receive 3 sides with a portion of rice. I’d recommend the pork only as the beef is quite salty as they pre season it for you. The portions are generous but slightly overpriced for this specific meal. The other options seem very affordable. We’ll try those next time.The service is good and the venue is okay. Lots of Korean pop singer posters and merch for sale.

Reasonable prices with an amazing staff experience. They were so attentive and personable. Missing Korean food and this definitely hit the spot! I do miss my various side dishes I would get in Korea but I do understand that its not common in SA.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating my birthday which was on 21 September with the family in one of the karaoke rooms. The food was absolutely fantastic. Kitchen does close at 7.30pm, which is a pity. We had a blast with the karaoke which we booked for an hour. Sinjay was a fantastic host. Thank you for accommodating our last song 😁.

One of the best Korean restaurants Ive been too, to date. The place is so cute. The food is great. The karaoke room was beyond cool & Soju is amazing! They also sell posters & BTS merch. The waiter was extremely friendly & so were the owners, they spoke to us & made us feel extremely welcome. What a good place and environment.

Recently visited the restaurant for a birthday and enjoyed the Karaoke room, it was award at first , but you get into it and turned out to be fun - would recommend. Id say the restaurant itself is alright - I think the sea point branch is better.

I ordered R200 worth of food here and I was very disappointed in how the portions have been reduced by the owner. I received less dumplings than stated on the menu and the pancake was half the portion of what they used to deliver. They didn’t even send chopsticks or napkins. I can’t justify paying that much for Asian takeaway even if it is tasty. Do better Korean Kitchen. I know times are tough, but don’t rip people off.

The food was really good and it has a cozy light atmosphere. We had the Hot and Sweet chicken, Kimbab, Tteobboki and side dishes. They give you a complimentary food which is a potato pancake. Service was good

The prices are very reasonable during lunch time special. Although their prices have increased :( but it’s understandable due to the pandemic local businesses are going through a difficult time. ( so support local!!)The drinks although are slightly pricey but still affordable. Soju is expensive for R120 for a 360ml bottle. But the food is delicious, I especially recommend the Bulgogi and Dakbokki. There aren’t many servers, probably because it is usually quite quiet during weekday lunch time but the lady was super nice and efficient as well. The interior design is also really nice and clean. It has good vibes although kind of quiet. They also sell BTS merch for all those Armys out there but the T-shirts are quite pricey as well. They also offer Karaoke rooms at a rate of R200/hr. If you go with a lot of friends it’s not expensive:) but this is definitely my favorite Korean restaurant.

It’s such a great place, the food tastes authentic and you do get a Korean vibe to it. They have lunch specials Monday to Friday and they are affordable. The karaoke (noraebang) is great if you want to try out the Korean way of doing. It would be great if they introduced more dishes to explore the Korean cuisine

Korean restaurants in Cape town are quite expensive and this restaurant is no exception. My wife and I ordered the hot and sweet chicken, tempayaki chicken, and rice rolls (forgot the name). Both the chicken dishes are amazing and flavourful, and both are R95. The rice rolls are ok, not much flavour and bland. We also ordered a sparkling water and a small can of coke, both cost R30 each. Total bill came up to R300. Not a cheap meal but I think the price of the drinks are just too expensive since it is just local drinks. Other than the price, the food is very good and I will come back to try the hot pot or the Korean BBQ.

Delicious Korean food. Restaurant is situated on the 1st floor of the Atrium on Main Road, Claremont. Friendly service. The lunch menu looks good and the specials are really well priced. We went for dinner - so prices are much more. Good bibibamp. All our mains were really good. Update to my review - the Centre is renovated, nice and clean. . We went for lunch today, bibibamp for me again. And we also had the Duk Mandu, dumpling in soup - a substantial portion and really delicious.

So the only reason I went is because my daughter is a KPop fan. The menus were stuck on a wall and the service is really bad. I do not know why I even tipped as the service was non existent. The food however was good authentic Korean food. They do not even serve desert. Will not be going back again. The owner needs to catch a wake up call. The only thing driving business is the kpop thing.

I am a huge fan of Korean food (as a result of my KPOP and K-drama life). The food here is good but I couldn’t help comparing to my favorite Korean restaurant in JHB. I had bibimpap and was disappointed when we were served our meals without any banchan. After mentioning it to the host, we were provided some kimchi. We really enjoyed our food and I think the food is reasonably priced. If you do visit and are familiar with Korean restaurants not asking for tip, here they do. Meals came out very fast, so you can definitely stop by in your lunch hour.

The service was good, the dining experience too but the food was considerably bland and lacked the bursts of flavour Korean foods usually have as they tasted similar but as a quick experience of Korean food I think its a good place to go.

Went in for a quick sit down bite. Ended up taking 2 more portions home as a take out.

Ive been to this restaurant on two occasions, and I am very impressed.Firstly, its located right by the escalators which lead to my university bus stop, so it is very convenient to pop in and grab some food.My first visit was a sit down and I ordered the japchae lunch special, for only R55. The vegetables and rice were seasoned very well and the portion size was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly!The second time I came here I ordered an infamous Korean dish, the Bulgogi, for take out. It was delectable, the marinade was perfect. Again, great service that was very quick and food was served hot.Ill most certainly be back again.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. They have a lunch menu with all authentic Korean dishes for about R50 each. They also have a more extensive dinner menu, including set menus. There is a Korean barbeque station at each table. The restaurant also features a Korean karaoke room for those that are keen. They serve alcohol. Very nice Korean chef, great service. Will be back for more soon :-)

The food at Soul Kitchen was beyond amazing! I had the spicy pork and it reminded me of the dishes I used to have in Seoul. The prices are a bit high but a treat every now and then definitely. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

This is probably my favourite restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious with so much care and attention to detail. Try the bulgogi jungol on the dinner menu if you have a large group. Its the perfect sharing meal and will satisfy many palates!

The food is expensive, but is very poor quality. The serving staff are lovely, but the high price for the food does not make sense when it looks and tastes like something bought from a street food stall.

Great lunch specials, but still worth the full price if you go in the evenings. Truly unique eating.
