Brilliant unique experience. Beautifully presented and tasted so fresh. The team were happy to also accommodate dietary requirements and food allergies, no one felt left out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.

What an absolute experience at Allium. The Korean BBQ set for 2 was fantastic (make sure to book in advance). Moru and Sepial made our anniversary dinner extra special. Thank you Allium, we will be back soon ♥️

A location with lots of charm and food with lots of love. Selection is limited for now since the restaurant is very new , but we look forward to try more of their delicious food.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. Sepial and her team have once again provided a comfy and delicious setting to tantalise our taste buds. Korean food done authentically with some local products subbed in where appropriate. Her enthusiasm to share her food heritage and to pay homage to local providence really shines through with her menus. Definitely will make the long trek back!

If you enjoy Japanese food. You will enjoy this little gem in Woodstock. The Kimchi dumplings and fried spicy chicken are amazing. The Kimchi pancakes are also fabulous. Sepials kitchen offers a smaller focused menu within an intimate space. The service is attentive and charming.

Wonderful dinner at Allium. We all had the Korean barbecue and Sepial was kind enough to help us cook it. Lovely setting, relaxing music and the food was yummy! Hope more people support her new place! 🤗

Sepials Kitchen is absolutely superb! The food is exceptional - probably the best meal Ive ever had. Unusual tastes, delicious textures and amazing combinations. The staff are delightful and the chef is so generous and will bring delicious treats to share through out the evening. I would highly recommend this place!

We visited this restaurant with high expectations, given the various high reviews, and werent disappointed. Sepials Kitchen is worth every five star review they have received, and more. The food is varied, tasty and fresh, with generous portions. Service from the waiter, the owners son I believe, is genial and he eagerly shared food hints and recommendations, which were all spot on. The place is BYO. Its tiny, the inside restaurant section seats around ten, so be prepared for a more intimate dining experience than normal but it all contributes to the homey, kitchen vibe. Thanks Sepial for an excellent and memorable dining experience.

Quaint little restaurant serving authentic Korean food in Salt River. Great service. The dumplings are especially tasty and more-ish. I look forward to returning so I can try the rest of the menu!

Amazing little place. It only has 4 tables so you have to book. The host is incredible and makes the meal feel intimate and and personal. Also they have a variety of delicious kimchi, remember to bring a bottle of wine and somebody special.

This is the most unbelievable hidden gem. Delicious food made by happy and friendly staff - could not recommend highly enough. Korean Fried Cauli / Kimchi pancake were highlights. Amazing wine selection too.

The Korean food is really good. Sepial (owner) is the most amazing person and personally speaks to the customers. She allows you to try some of the food and explains it too. Genuine and beautiful place. Very minimal

One of the best flavour experiences Ive had the chance of trying in Cape Town

Went along to this relatively nascent bijoux establishment kicking and screaming. My wife persisted! It’s somewhat nondescript in terms of appearance which shouldn’t put you off one bit. Three pieces of info going forward. 1. Given it’s size, book. 2. It has a limited wine list so consider byo if allowed. And 3, the son (waiter) is shy. But draw him out. He’s charming and knowledgeable. It was absolutely SUPERB We did all the starters. Dumplings of all styles, Japanese omelette, seafood omelette, kimchi this and that, and then we turned the page!! I do a recommended eateries for pals coming to CPT. It’s now on on it and compares with the very best. What a chef! And charming to boot. She’s the waiters mother and a former town planner! What a find in a cool little area of Salt River called Salt Orchard. MUST visit. Looking forward to my next visit. Full marks!

What a truly unique Korean dining experience, Sepial and her team work in harmony in the kitchen and the food is amazing, flavours that awaken the pallet and make you want more. She is elavating the idea of home cooked Korean cuisine to the level of fine dining.Can not wait to return and try some of the specials she mentioned, especially the bibimbap!

Eating at Sepials is like having a gourmet treat but at a family home, not that it feels like a home, very much a restaurant, but Sepial and team pour so much love into their work that it feels like home. Layered deliciousness and elements of play in the kitchen, plus fermentation fabulousness. This is def not a place for break-ups, only make ups.

Sepial’s food gives you textures and flavors that are a rare find in Cape Town. Highly recommend the beef bulgogi and the kimchi everything. Expect to be taken care of like family.
